Ada Diane Hilburn McClamma, 59, of Tallahassee, FL, died Sunday, May 16, 2004 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 18, 2004 at 3:30 p.m. at Cooks Union Methodist Church with Rev. Richard Jones and Rev. Floyd Mitchell officiating. Interment followed in Cooks Union Cemetery.
Mrs. McClamma was born May 28, 1944 in Miller County. He worked in retail sales and was a member of Woodville Methodist Church in Woodville, FL.
Survivors include her husband, Joe McClamma of Tallahassee, FL; two brothers, Johnny Hilburn and Hamilton Hilburn of Colquitt; his mother, Carene Hilburn of Colquitt and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Hilburn, two brothers, Billy Hilburn and Charlie Frank Hilburn and one sister, Betty Hilburn.

LESTER DONLEY
Lester Donley, 78, of Winter Haven, died Sunday, May 9, 2004.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 12, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church in Winter Haven.
Mr. Donley was born February 24, 1926 in Colquitt and was involved in the citrus industry for 54 years. He worked for BC Cook, H.C., for 16 years before starting his own business, Lester Donley and Sons. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Winter Haven.
Survivors include his wife, Quinque Donley; two sons, Terry Donley and Roger Donley, both of Winter Haven; two daughters, Wanda Dicks of Winter Haven and Deborah Richardson of Haines City; two brothers; three sisters; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

BUFORD WILLIAMS
Buford B. Williams, 90, of Donalsonville, died Sunday, May 23, 2004 at the Donalsonville Hospital.
Funeral service were held Tuesday, May 25, 2004 at 3:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Donalsonville with Dr. Ron King, Rev. Luther Hastey and Dr. Ron McCaskill officiating. Entombment followed in the Williams’ Mausoleum at the Friendship Cemetery in Donalsonville.
Pallbearers were Mark Burkett, Shannon Johnson, Ray Grimsley, Lamar Sawyer, L.H. Dill and Dallas Waddell. Honorary pallbearers were the Whit Aiken Sunday School Class and Ed Hall.
Mr. Williams was born in Miller County on March 8, 1914 to the late Dement Sam and Annie Lou Grimsley Williams. He graduated Miller County High School, received B.A. an M.A. degrees from Oglethorpe University and received his six year degree in Administration from Emory University. He was a high school principal of 42 years, the President of the Principals Association in Cobb County, and opened three school in Cobb County. He was a Representative for the State of Georgia to the N.E.A. Convention, was a member of the Retired Teacher’s Association and was President of Georgia Athletic Association. An Auditorium at Wheeler High School and an Athletic Field at Wills High School is named for him. He was a member of First Baptist Church and of the Whit Aiken Sunday School Class, and also a member of the Limousine Cattlemen’s Association.
Survivors include his wife, Lillian C. Williams; one daughter, Patricia W. Bright and her husband David W.; and one grandson,, David C.W. Bright, all of Donalsonville.
He was preceded in death by his parents and four sisters, Minnie Johnson, Thelma Davis, Niza Lee Davis and Audrey King. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
RHONDA POITEVINT
Rhonda Poitevint, 50, of Bainbridge, died Wednesday, May 26, 2004 at Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 28, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with Rev. Conrad Salter and Rev. Benny Cumbie officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Vada.
Mrs. Poitevint was born November 16, 1953 in Decatur County, where she lived all her life. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include three sons, Ray Moody of Leesburg, Marcus Poitevint of Bainbridge, Jody Poitevint of Bainbridge; three grandchildren; two brothers, Ronnie Parish and Mark Parrish, both of Bainbridge; two sisters, Sandra Dollar of Bainbridge and Debra Hogan of Cairo.

MOLLY GRACE HOLT
Molly Grace Holt, infant daughter of Joe and Kerry Holt of Panama City, FL died Tuesday, May 25, 2005 at Gulf Coast Community Hospital in Panama City, FL.
Molly was born May 25, 2004.
Graveside services were held Friday, May 28 at 10:00 a.m. at Eternal Rest Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Kent Barwick officiating.
Survivors other than her parents are grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Steve Holt, Mr. and Mrs. Scil Rathel, all of Colquitt; great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lavon Lovering and Grace Holt McLendon, also of Colquitt.
She was preceded in death by great-grandparents, Jim and Nannie Mae Rathel; Arlene Ford and Grady Holt, all of Colquitt.

Andrew Jackson “Pa-Pa J” Barnard
Mr. Andrew Jackson “Pa-Pa J” Barnard, 82, of Colquitt, GA passed away May 22, 2004 at his residence. The funeral was held Monday, May 24, 2004 at Sheffield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Rollin Rathel & Rev. Harold Burrell officiating. Interment will follow at Colquitt City Cemetery With Military Honors. Wayne Barnard, Bryan Barnard, Chad Harrison, Michael Griffin, Berry Reynolds, Daniel Barnard and Randell Fisher will serve as pallbearers as well as Colquitt City Council and Jim Holt as honoraries.
Mr. Barnard was born December 13, 1921 in Berrian Co., GA. He opened Barnards Convenience Foods in 1969 and ran it until his retirement in 1987. He was a Colquitt City Councilman, served as Mayor for 6 months, Mayor Pro tem for 6 years, and attended Donalsonville Free Will Baptist Church. His survivors include his wife, Inez H. Barnard of Colquitt, GA; three daughters, Patricia D. Hopkins & Linda G. Knight both of Valdosta, Robin Renee Griffin of Colquitt; eight sons, Russell W. Barnard, Ronnie E. Barnard, Gary J. Barnard of Valdosta, Daniel A. Barnard of Bainbridge, Roger L. Barnard of Donalsonville, Johnny D. Linton of Port St. Joe, Fl, Bennie Frank Linton of Wewahitchka, FL and Richard J. Redd of Colquitt; twenty two grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Sandra Gail Hutto, of Valdosta, Ga.

Gwendolyn Cobb Jones
Mrs. Gwendolyn Cobb Jones, 77, of Colquitt, Ga. Passed away May 22, 2004 at Miller Nursing Home. The funeral was held Monday, May 24, 2004 at Colquitt United Methodist Church with Rev. Matt Stewart officiating. Interment will follow at Colquitt City Cemetery. Jimmy Williams, Cleve Cobb, Robert Burney, Durrell Jones, Eldon Cobb, Jr. And Ray Henley will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Jones was born August 2, 1926 in Miller Co. She retired from the Department of Family & Children Services as a case worker and was a member of Colquitt United Methodist Church. Her survivors include one daughter, Mary Gwen Hill & son-in-law Ron of Watkinsville, Ga.; two grandchildren, Justin Hill & Jordan Hill of Watkinsville, GA; three sisters, Minnie Laura Chapman & Cindy Conley both of Colquitt, Ga. and June Burney of Haines City, FL.; one brother, James B. Cobb of Colquitt, Ga; and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Collie Hays Jones.

MARY ELIZABETH LOWE KALLAL
Mary Elizabeth Lowe Kallal, age 87, of Donalsonville and formerly of LaGrange, IL who passed away Wednesday, June 2, 2004 at her residence.
Funeral services for Mrs. Kallal were held Friday, June 4, 2004 at the chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville with Rev. Randy Carnley officiating.
Pallbearers were Edward W. Kallal Jr., Edward K. Kallal, Adam W. Kallal, John L. Walsh, Wesley M. Walsh and Gary Wells.
Mrs. Kallal was born in Buena Vista on August 15, 1916 to the late Fank Williford and Marguerite Drane Lowe. She attended Georgia Southwestern and the University of Georgia. She was an English teacher in various cities, recruited new members for factories throughout Georgia for the US Employment Service during World War II and met her future husband Edward Kallal while he was stationed at Souther Field in Americus. After Edward returned home from World War II, they were married at St. Mary's Church in Americus on May 18, 1946. They resided in LaGrange, IL, a Chicago suburb. Mrs. Kallal was an active member of her community. Heractivities included the Hinsdale Hospital Womens Auxillary, teaching Sunday School at the United Methodish Church in LaGrange, IL, and joyful service in the Newcomers Alums and the LaGrange Garden Club. Mary and Ed retired to Donalsonville in 1996.
Survivors include her husband Edward W. Kallal, MD of Donalsonville; one son Edward W. Kallal, Jr. and his wife Cindy of Atlanta; two daughters, Mary K. Culpepper of Longwood, FL and marguerite (Cookie) K. Walsh and her husband John of Dillsberg, PA; seven grandchildren, Jordan Collier, Marcy Youngblood, Amy Culpepper, Wes and Maggie Walsh, Edward and Adam Kallal. And one great-grandson Sean J. Youngblood.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Frank W. Lowe, Horace Homes Lowe, Hohn Lowe, and Arthur D. Lowe, as well as a son-in-law, William Culpepper.

PAULINE F. WHITTAKER
Pauline F. Whittaker, 87, of Donalsonville, died Wednesday, June 2, 2004 at the Donalsonville Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 4, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. Eric Boomer officiating. Interment will follow at Spring Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Donalsonville.
Pallbearers will be Brent Brady, Brooks Carter, Bob Mock, Wayne Smith and Kenny Whittaker.
Vistation will be held Thursday, June 3, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home.
Mrs. Whittaker was born in Seminole County on October 5, 1916 to the late Emerson and Belle Earnest Faircloth. She married Jessie Cleveland (J.C.) Whittaker who preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and managed the family farm after the passing of her husband. She was a member of Spring Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Myrtle Mock and her husband Robert of Donalsonville and Doris Henderson and her husband Denton of Headland, AL; four sisters, Valeta Whittaker, Maggie Horn, Grace Whittaker and Ellen Hudson, all of Donalsonville; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild. REUBEN ALDAY
Reuban Alday, 88, of Quincy, FL, formerly of Donalsonville, died Saturday, May 29, 2004 at his residence.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 1, 2004 at 3:00 p.m. at the chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville with Rev. Ward Bradley officiating. Interment followed in Friendship Memorial Gardens in Donalsonville.
Pallbearers were Joe Forshee, Richard E. McDaniel, Ronnie McDaniel, Bill Hosey, Joe Hartzog, Eddie Alday and Ervin Alday. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the U.S. Army Honor Guard.
Mr. Alday was born in Seminole County on May 16, 1916 to the late John D. and Florence Flowers Alday. He was in the 121st Infantry 9th Division of the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the Santa Clara Baptist Church. He worked for the City of Quincy before retiring. His first wife, Velma Hartzog Alday, preceded him in death in April 1994.
Survivors include his wife, Doshia Odom Alday of Quincy, FL; one brother, Elton Alday of Texas and two sisters, Bertha Hosey of Blountstown, FL and Mary Lou Morris of Naples, FL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
MARIANNA E. LONGENECKER
Marianna E. Longenecker, 67, of Elizabethtown, PA, died Thursday, June 10, 2004 at Essa Flory Hospice Center in Lancaster, PA.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 15, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at Marietta Community Chapel in Marietta, PA. Interment followed at the Good Mennonite Cemetery in Elizabethtown, PA
Mariana E. Longenecker was the daughter of the late Walter and Elva Stoner Ebersole. She was married to Paul L. Longenecker for 48 years on February 11. She lived in Georgia and Alabama from 1960-85 before returning to Pennsylvania.
Mrs. Longenecker was a 1954 graduate of Lancaster Mennonite School. Prior to retiring in 2001, she, with her husband, co-managed Ridgeview Farm Restaurant in Elizabethtown for 14 years. She always had an interest in helping to develop the lives of young children. She accomplished this, in part, by owning and operating ABC Day Care Center and Kindergarten while living in Colquitt. She also had lived in Atmore, Alabama where she was active with volunteer service with We Care Prison Ministries. Mrs. Longenecker was a member of Marietta Community Chapel in Marietta, PA, and a former member of both Colquitt Mennonite Church and Mennonite Christian Fellowship of Atmore. She was very active with church work when her health permitted.
She enjoyed spending time and dining with her friends, cross stitching, and completing jigsaw puzzles. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, and two brothers, Wayne Ebersole and David Ebersole.
Survivors include husband, Paul L. Longenecker of Elizabethtown, PA; Three Sons, Steven P. Longenecker and wife Lenora, Daryl R. Longenecker and wife Janet, J. Lynford Longenecker and wife Penni A. Swartz; One Daughter, Sylvia D. Weaver and husband Luke; One Brother, Delmar and wife Ruth Ebersole; Four Sisters, Clara and Husband Roy Howe, Lois and husband Robert Kelchner, Ruth and husband Alvin Zimmerman, Esther and husband Omer Yoder; and Nine Grandchildren
