LaRue Griffin Huggins, 68, of Houston Street, Barnesville, died Wednesday, May 22, 2002, at her residence.
An Atlanta native, Mrs. Huggins had moved to Barnesville in May 1999 after living in Merritt Island, Fla., for 11 years.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Charles F. Huggins of Barnesville; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Charles and Laura Huggins of Barnesville and James Jackson Huggins of Cape Canaveral, Fla.; a brother, W.H. Griffin of Dallas; sister, Jean Farrill of Tyrone; nine grandchildren, Tine, Anita, Jay, Rick, Rusty, Renee, Noah, Christian and Daniel; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services were held Saturday, May 25, at Haisten-Martin Funeral Home. Dr. Benny Tate officiated. Burial was in Fairview Memorial Gardens in Stockbridge.
Pearl Bethune Littleton
Lillie Pearl Bethune Littleton, 66, of Barnesville died Wednesday, May 22, 2002, at Upson Regional Medical Center in Thomaston.
A lifelong resident of Lamar County, Mrs. Littleton was the daughter of the late Walter and Maggie Ross Bethune. She was a cosmetologist and beautician and a member of First Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include her husband, Eugene Littleton of Barnesville; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Linda and Robert Jones, Susan and Felton Lewis and Denise Chute, all of Barnesville, and Rita and Kenneth Caldwell of Zebulon; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Jerry Littleton of Meansville and Donnel and Robin Littleton of Barnesville; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Gaynelle Murray and Elsie and Raymond Campbell, all of Barnesville; seven grandsons, five granddaughters, three great-granddaughters and five great-grandsons.
Services were held Friday, May 24, at First Church of the Nazarene. Dr. Harold Latham and Rev. Mary J. Willoughby officiated. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery.

Sara Anna Colquitt
Sara Anna Colquitt, 99, of Barnesville died Tuesday, June 6, 2000 at Spalding Regional Hospital in Griffin.
Born June 8, 1900, Mrs. Colquitt was the daughter of John Wesley and Alice Edna Gibson Colquitt. She worked at the Wil-liam Carter Company and was a clerk at Wisebram’s Department Store. She was a resident of Baptist Inn in Stockbridge 12 years and was a member of Stockbridge United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sisters-in-law, Ethel M. Colquitt of Barnesville and Irene E. Colquitt of Warner Robins; eight nieces, Alice C. Smalling of Barnesville, Gail C. White of Decatur, Elizabeth C. Gatlin and Lola C. Jackson, both of Lithia Springs, Mary C. Wohlleb of Dayton, Ohio, Rebecca C. Strickland and Helen C. Bowles, both of Newnan, and Beryl Martin of Macon; and numerous great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
Services were held Thursday, June 8 at Haisten-Martin Funeral Home. Revs. Ron Brown and Franklin Gibson officiated. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery.

Frances R. Edwards
Frances R. Edwards, 68, of Milner died Friday, June 2, 2000 at Spalding Regional Hospital after a brief illness.
A Spalding County native, Mrs. Edwards was the daughter of the late Sara Sauley Ogletree and Vernon R. Ridgeway Sr. and was the widow of W.L. “Bill” Edwards. She was a member of Orchard Hill Baptist Church and worked as a substitute teacher for Lamar County Primary School for 16 years. She had lived in Milner since 1949. She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Ridgeway.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Ramona and Dennis McDaniel of Milner; stepbrother and sister-in-law, Phil and Peggy Ogletree; three aunts, Carrie Nelle Bishop and Anna Jean Clark, both of Barnesville, and Ruth Newsome of Griffin; an uncle, Arthur Sauley of Griffin; a granddaughter, Ashley; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held Monday, June 5 at Haisten-Martin Funeral Home. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery in Griffin. Revs. Franklin Gibson and Mike Turner officiated.
Robert Olin Holloway Sr.
Robert Olin Holloway Sr., 94, of Thomaston, died Monday, June 5, 2000 at Upson Regional Medical Center.
Born Dec. 2, 1905 at The Rock, Mr. Holloway was the son of the late Thomas G. and Della McDaniel Holloway. He was a retired cotton buyer for Thomaston Mills. He was a member of First United Methodist Church where he was an honorary member of the administrative council.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Ella Kennedy of Chatta-nooga, Tenn.; a son, Robert O. Holloway Jr. of Barnesville; a sister, Geraldine Wilson of Thomaston; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services were held Wednesday, June 7 at Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home in Thomaston. Dr. C. Layne Jenkins officiated. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery in Barnesville.
Sean Lee Lamboley-Kenney
Sean Lee Lamboley-Kenney, 28, of Decatur died Monday, May 29, 2000 in a boating accident in Perdido Key, Pensacola, Fla.
Mr. Lamboley-Kenney was the owner of Plan-It Cool Heating and Air of Decatur. He was a musician enrolled in the Atlanta Institute of Music.
Survivors include his fianceé, Kathleen Ruefli of Decatur; mother and stepfather, Carol and Ramon Slaughter of Jackson; father, Walter Kenney of Lithonia; two sisters, Genia Pusinelli of Griffin and Angela Woodward of Barnesville; brother, Keith Kenney of Canton; uncle, Mark Kokoska of Ohio; grandparents, Floyd Ko-koska of Locust Grove, Eugene Raney of Florida and Audrey Boosman of North Georgia; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services were held Friday, June 9, at Immaculate Heart of Mary in Decatur.

Lamar Danny Nelson, 31, of Milner died Tuesday, June 6, 2000 at Spalding Regional Medical Center in Griffin.
A Spalding County native, Mr. Nelson attended Central Lake Church of God and was preceded in death by a nephew, Mitchell Fuller.
Survivors include his parents, Lamar and Dorothy Nelson of Milner; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Sandy and Mark Fuller and Pam and Ashley Taliaferro, all of Griffin; brother, Tim Nelson of Griffin; a nephew and three nieces, Michael Fuller, Erin Fuller, Robin Taliaferro and Khrisla Nelson; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and friends Bobby and Mary Chappell.

Nola Pilkenton
Nola Pilkenton, 83, of Griffin died Sunday, June 4, 2000 at Spalding Regional Hospital.
A native of Meriwether County, Mrs. Pilkenton was the daughter of the late Jack Heard and Ada Mae Brand. She was preceded in death by a sister, Catherine Cox. She worked in the textile industry for many years.
Survivors include five sons, Copeland Massengale of Marietta, Steven Massengale of Smyrna and Larry Pilkenton, Dickie Pilkenton and Harvey Pilkenton, all of Griffin; three daughters, Frances Williams of Milner, Jo Ann Brooks of Griffin and Jackie Durham of Smyrna; two sisters, Betty Conkle Starr of Griffin and Margaret Kilgore of Milledgeville; 22 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held Tuesday, June 6, at Haisten-Woodlawn Funeral Home. Rev. Ron Laney officiated. Burial was in Griffin Memorial Gardens.

Shannan Marie Weitzel Sasser, 23, of Waynesboro died Monday, June 5, 2000 from injuries received in a motor vehicle accident.
An Upson County native, Mrs. Sasser was an employee of Kwikset Industries. She had lived in Waynesboro the past five and a half years.

Sasser of Waynes-boro; two daughters, Autumn Marie Sasser and Halie Nichole Sas-ser, both of Waynesboro; parents, Don and Jean Weitzel of Griffin; two brothers, Boyd Weitzel of Barnesville and Donald Weitzel Jr. of Milner; a sister, Tammie Moore of Gray; mother- and father-in-law, Gloria A. Robert A. Smith Sr.
Robert A. Smith Sr., 71, of Griffin died Saturday, June 3, 2000 at Christian Ministries Hospice.
Mr. Smith was the son of the late Edward T. and Winifred T. Smith of Thomaston and was the grandson of the late Rev. Jasper Tumlin. He was a graduate of R.E. Lee Institute and Georgia State University, and spent two years in the Merchant Marine and four years in the Air Force. He was a textbook representative for Harcourt Brace and World and owned Thomas Jewelry in Thomaston.
Survivors include his wife, Sally R. Smith; a son and daughter-in-law Robert and Annice Smith Jr. of Thomaston; daughter and son-in-law, Lane and Mark Farmer of Barnesville; mother-in-law, Mable Q. Reeves of Griffin; and four grandchildren,Cassie Smith, Trey Smith, Morgan Farmer and Macy Farmer;
