Aaron Carl Anderson, 26, of Alpharetta, GA, died July 10, 2005.
A native of Detroit, MI, Mr. Anderson graduated from the Job Corps in Bristol, TN and attended the Art Institute of Atlanta. He was employed at the Dunwoody Country Club. A member of a swim team in Chicago, Mr. Anderson also served in the U.S. Navy. He was a Catholic and enjoyed song writing, camping and outdoor sports. He especially loved his friends.
Survivors include his parents, Ron and Marilyn Anderson of Alpharetta, GA; his fiancee, Alissa Danielle Benson of Dunwoody, GA; aunt, Betsy and John Curcuru of Stockbridge, GA; uncles, Carl and Marie Anderson of Colorado Springs, CO and Duane and Kathy Anderson of Clinton Township, MI.
Funeral services were held Thursday, July 14, at 10:00 AM at St. Brendan’s Catholic Church with Father John Howren officiating. Interment followed in Greenwood Cemetery in Roswell.

Anna Zasimowicz
Anna Zasimowicz, 90, of Cumming died at her home May 7, 2005.
A native of Poland, Mrs. Zasimowicz had lived in Cumming for the past 14 years, moving here from New Jersey. She was retired from the culinary profession and was a member of the St. Mary’s of Egypt Russian Orthodox Church. Mrs. Zasimowicz is preceded in death by her husband, Boleslaw Zasimowicz and a granddaughter, Laura McManus.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Valdemar and Barbara Stanton of Cumming, GA; daughters, Halina McManus of St. Louis, Irene and Joechim Loeber of Key West, FL; grandchildren, Sandra and Michael Haskins of Woodstock, GA, Karen and John Baca of Chicago, IL, Courtney McLaughlin of St. Louis, MO, Jay and Debbie McManus of St. Louis, MO, and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 10, at 11:00 AM at the Monastery of the Glorious Ascension in Resaca, GA with burial following in the monastery’s cemetery.

Beldon Richard Dixon
Beldon Richard Dixon, 71, died June 28, 2005 at his home in Cumming.
A native of Delaware Township, OH, Mr. Dixon was a retired convenience store owner. He graduated from Ohio State, where he lettered in soccer. Mr. Dixon was a U.S. Air Force veteran and loved to fish.
Survivors include his wife, Susan Z. Dixon of Cumming; daughter, Amy Cowan of Dahlonega; sons, Tim G. Dixon of Lilburn, Mark and Robin Dixon of Loganville, Phil A. Dixon of Missoula, MT; sisters, Elinor and Sam Loos of Lewis Center, OH, Cheryl and Dale Brown of Marion, OH; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 2, at 1:00 PM at McDonald and Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Howard R. Caldwell officiating.
The family will receive friends Saturday beginning at 11:00 AM until the hour of the service at the funeral home.

Betty W. Oberlander
Mrs. Betty W. Oberlander, 91, of Cumming, GA, died Friday, May 27, 2005. She had lived in Cumming, GA, since 1999, moving from Milwaukee, Wisconsin where she was born and raised. Mrs. Oberlander and her husband enjoyed square dancing, and together participated in many competitions. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Henry Oberlander.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Donald Henry and Azizah Oberlander of Cumming, GA; grandchildren Kristy Stevenson of Raleigh, NC, Mary Oberlander and Steven Oberlander of Fox Lake, IL; great-grandson Daniel Stevenson of Raleigh, NC; brother-in-law Carl Oberlander of WI, and sisters-in-law Betty Power of FL, and Barbara Louden of CA.
No services are planned at this time. The body will be cremated. McDonald and Son Funeral Home, Cumming, GA is charge of arrangements.
David L. Humple
Mr. David L. Humple, 63, of Cumming died Sunday, June 26, 2005 at Northside Hospital Forsyth.
A native of Cockeysville, MD, Mr. Humple had lived in Cumming for the past 11 years; moving here from Cobb County, GA. He retired as an Installation Manager with Diebolt after 30 years of service. Above all, he lived for his family.
Mr. Humple is preceded in death by a son, Christopher Franklin Humple.
Survivors include his wife, Sadra Mettee of Cumming; son, Bradly Franklin Humple of Rome, GA; daughter and son-in law, Kathy and Tom Dill of Cumming; daughter, Becky Franklin of Delaware; grandchildren, Erin Barcroft, Julie and Elliott Franklin, David Franklin, Josh, James and Michelle Dill, Cole Davis, Chelsea and Erika Lindsey; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.

Edna M. Wallace
Edna M. Wallace, 94, died October 30th at Cumming Nursing Manor in Cumming, GA.
Born in Oswego, she was the daughter of the late John and Cynthia (Clark) Phillips. She attended Oswego schools and taught Sunday School for many years at the West Baptist Church. Mrs. Wallace worked as a seamstress at Omsted and Alma Foundations. She resided in Oswego most of her life before moving to Georgia to be with her family.
She is predeceased by her husband Donald A. Wallace in 1986, her first husband Frank Bliach and three brothers, Carl, Harry and Richard Phillips.
Surviving are her son Donald (Shirley) of Georgia, her grand children Kimberly (John) Williams of Iowa, Jamie (Beth) Wallace of Georgia, four great-grandchildren, Alex and Connor Williams, Hannah and Samuel Wallace.
Services for Edna Wallace will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at the Nelson Funeral Home, 11 West Albany St. Calling hours will be held 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Nelson Funeral Home, corner of West Second and Albany St., Oswego.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

Edward Lafayette Watson, IV, 18, died June 7, 2005 at his home in Cumming.
A native of Chicago, IL, Edward loved music, writing, drawing and poetry. He is preceded in death by his father, Edward Lafayette Watson, III.
Survivors include his mother, Dorothy Paulson of Cumming; sister, Nicole Phillips of Cumming; grandparents, David and Jean D’Adam of Matteson, IL and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 10, at 11:00 AM at McDonald and Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Davey Bales officiating.

Peter John Gaboury
Peter John Gaboury, 42, of Gainesville, GA died March 6, 2005 at Peachtree Christian Hospice Duluth, GA. A native of West Palm Beach, FL, Mr. Gaboury resided in Cumming for the past 13 years. He worked for Publix Grocers for 10 years.
He is survived by his son, Peter Raymond Gaboury of West Palm Beach, FL; 2 sisters, Michelle Wotovich of Gainesville, FL, Mimi Gaboury-Poindexter of Jacksonville, FL, 2 brothers Raymone Gaboury of Plainfield, IL and Mark Gaboury of Gainesville, GA; several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held Tuesday March 8, at 6:00 PM at War Hill Christian Fellowship of Dawsonville, GA with the Rev. Don C. Hill officiating.
