Mrs. Imogene Andrews age 89 of Cumming passed away Friday December 17 2004 following an extended illness.

Mr. Orville Martin age 87 of Gainesville died Saturday, December 18, 2004.

James C. “Bill” Williams
Mr. James C. “Bill” Williams, 80, of Gainesville, GA died March 13, 2005 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
A native of Social Circle, Mr. Williams had lived in Gainesville for the past 24 years, moving from Stone Mountain. He was retired from Ford Motor Company as Superintendent of the Paint Department and was a Mason and a Shriner.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret “Peggy” Williams of Gainesville; daughters, Pat Williams Fernety of Conyers, Connie Williams Case of Cumming; a son, Larry Portwood of Cleveland, GA; sister, Diana Daws Preston of Flowery Branch; brothers, Ralph Williams of Bethlehem, GA, Ronnie Daws of Carnesville, Bob Daws of Germany, Irby Williams of Mansfield; grandchildren, Greg Alford of Loganville, Ken Atha of Bold Springs, Lindsey Alexis Case and Cory James Case, both of Cumming; and 3 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 15, at 2:00 pm at McDonald and Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Jackson officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
Flowers are welcome or you may make donations to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Drive; Tampa, FL 33607.

Jewel Palmer Passed away Suddenly This Week
Long time Forsyth County resident Jewel Palmer died suddenly on Monday, February 13, 2006. Her husband, Hershel Palmer, preceded Ms. Palmer in death. Ms. Palmer was a jewel whose beauty and indomitable spirit lifted all who encountered her. She was a frequent attendee at meetings of the AARP and was an active supporter of the Forsyth County Senior Center. For a number of years Ms. Palmer served Forsyth County faithfully as a member of the Board of Equalization. Forsyth County has suffered a great loss with the passing of Ms. Palmer. Please remember to keep her family and friends in your prayers.
Visitation will be at Ingram Funeral home on Wednesday, February 15th from 2 PM until 5 PM and again from 7 PM until 9 PM. Services will be held in the Chapel at Ingram Funeral home on Thursday, February 16th at 2 PM.

Joseph L. Schmidt
Joseph L. Schmidt of Cumming, Georgia died on July 7, 2005 at Piedmont Hospital following complications from congestive heart failure. Born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on December 29, 1929, Joe joined the Marines in 1948. He fought in Korea earning a Purple Heart and was a master gunnery sergeant. Upon discharge, he earned a BS degree from Florida State University in 1959, the same year he joined Southern Bell Telecommunications. He supervised Bellsouth’s Security Department operations in nine states before he retired in 1993. He is predeceased by his son, Daniel and his mother Helen and is survived by his wife, Diane. Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. on Monday, July 11, 2005 at McDonald and Son Funeral Home in Cumming with visitation from 1 - 4 p.m, the Rev. Larry Connelly officiated. Burial will take place at Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, D.C. on August 12.at 3 pm in the Fort Myer Chapel In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Piedmont Hospital Foundation Office, 1968 Peachtree Road, NW., Atlanta, GA, 30309. Leslie Sizemore
Mr. Leslie Sizemore age 86 of Cumming passed away Sunday morning, December 12 2004.
He was of the Baptist faith. He was veteran of WWII.
Serving in the army and in the navy as a Seabee. He was the oldest of 11 children.
He was preceded in death by his son, Donald Lee Sizemore, and his grandson, Robert Paul Sizemore.
Survivors include:
Wife of 58 years, Ruth Mae Sizemore, Cumming

Marilyn Laurene Rich
Marilyn Laurene Rich, 51, of Cumming died March 6, 2005 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Atlanta.
A native of Bradenton, FL, Mrs. Rich retired from AT&T as a Data Processor. She was a member of the Mountain View Church of Christ in Cumming. Mrs. Rich is preceded in death by her father, Milford Lawrence Jonas.
Surviving are her husband, Norman Henry Rich of Cumming, a daughter, Jennifer Holly Rich of Cumming; mother, Thisbe Laurene Jonas of Atlanta; brothers, Thomas Lawrence Jonas and James Mason Jonas, both of Atlanta.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 8, at 7:30 PM at McDonald and Son Funeral Home with Mr. Mark Bowman and Mr. Steve Huff officiating. Interment will be Thursday, March 10, at 2:00 PM (CST) in the Bonifay (FL) City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:00 PM until the hour of the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Florida College, c/o Florida College Development Office, 119 N. Glen Arven Ave., Temple Terrace, FL 33617. On the memo line of your check, please include “Roberts Library Fund,” also include a note “In Memory of Marilyn Rich.”
