Born Aug. 5, 1917 in Dawsonville, Mrs. Huckeba was the daughter of the late Curtis Neal Roper and Ada Mae Hamby Roper and the wife of the late Aaron Jerome Huckeba. A member of Shiloh Methodist Church, she worked for Baby Cloze Manufacturing Co.
A service was Monday at Tom Stutts and Son Funeral Home in Franklin with the Rev. Gerald Bachelor and the Rev. Robert Garrett officiating. Interment followed at Cainey Head Church Cemetery with Ralph Ponder Jr., Kelly Ponder, Joel Huckeba, Chuck Huckeba, Charles Huckeba Jr. and Mat Huckeba serving as pallbearers.
Honorary pallbearers were Jerry Crider and Anthony Huckeba.

Born Dec. 26, 1921 in Grantville, Mrs. Jenkins was the daughter of the late Homer and Lizzie Shaddix and the wife of the late R.W. "Bob" Jenkins. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Grantville and was a bookkeeper for Gentry Motor Company in Newnan.
A graveside service will be tomorrow at 2 p.m. at Grantville Cemetery with the Rev. Kara Stalcup and the Rev. Darris Baker officiating.

Mr. William Terrell Prescott Sr., 70, of Newnan, died Jan. 18, 1998 at his home.
Born Sept. 9, 1927 in Carroll County, he was the son of the late James Mathew and Retha Sanders Prescott. He was a veteran of World War II. Mr. Prescott was a retired mechanic from Gentry Motor Company, and he was a member of and served as a deacon of Sargent Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Mac Prescott, Grady Prescott and Curtis Prescott.
Funeral services were held at graveside Tuesday afternoon at Forest Lawn Memorial Park on Roscoe Road with Pastor Doug Story officiating. Pallbearers were Edward Camp, Edward Miller, John Prescott, Fuller Gordon, Charles Dial, W. L. Winkles, Eddie Bean, Barry Jiles, Dillard Henderson, Fred Cochran and Robert Masdon.

Mr. Bishop Render Jr., 62, of Atlanta died Jan. 22, 1998 at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta.
He was born July 23, 1935 in Meriwether County to Mattie Mae Walton Render and the late Bishop Render Sr. He attended Luthersville Public School and also served in the United States Army. He married Elizabeth Stepps March 29, 1959.

Mr. Ira Turner Jr., 53, of Deckner Ave., S.W., Atlanta, died Jan. 21, 1998, at his residence.
He was born Sept. 22, 1944 in Fayette County to the late Ira Turner Sr. and Lillie Mae Turner. He was reared in Coweta County and graduated with the Central High School Class of 1962 as salutatorian. He received many prestigious awards as a trip around the world and also served in the U.S. Navy. He was married to Christyne Orr Turner April 3, 1966.
Funeral services were held Sunday at Sellers-Smith R. W. S. Memorial Chapel with Dr. Robert L. Calhoun officiating, assisted by the Rev. Ray Robertson. Burial was in Sunset Cemetery. Pallbearers were members of the Central High Class of 1962.
