Born Aug. 30, 1911 in Berrien County, Tenn., Mrs. Alexander was the daughter of the late Bill Jack Griner and Evie Rowan and the wife of the late Gertley Alexander. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Marie Alexander.
Mrs. Alexander was a homemaker and a member of Nashville Church of God.
A service was Saturday at Nashville Church of God with the Rev. Julian Strom officiating. Interment followed at Turner Church Cemetery.
Survivors include her daughters, Jackie Mathis of Havana, Fla., Marm Spires of Nashville, Eloise Iverson of Newnan, Othel Purvis of Alapaha; sons, O.G. Alexander, Darrell Alexander, both of Nashville; 18 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Mr. Hughlon T. Nunn, 71, of Posey Road in Newnan died Jan. 29, 1998, at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta.
Born Oct. 21, 1926 in High Shoals, Ga., Mrs. Nunn was the son of the late Fonnie Thomas Nunn and Floy Ingram Nunn. He was retired from the National Oceanic Oceanographic Administration and a member of Cornerstone United Methodist Church.
A service will be tomorrow at 3 p.m. at Hillcrest Chapel Funeral Home with Dr. Alton McEachern officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Park in Miami, Fla.

Ms. Patrice Rhemel Dyer, 29, of Rex, Ga. died Jan. 28, 1998 at Southern Regional Medical Center.
She was born Jan. 30, 1968 to Curtis L. Dyer and the late Evelyn M. Dyer in R.A.F. Lakenheath, England. She spent most of her life in Fairfield, California, and was a member of the chapel at Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield. She was employed for many years with the United States Civil Service at the Presidio of San Francisco and Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield.
Funeral services were held Feb. 2 at Sellers-Smith R.W.S. Memorial Chapel in Newnan, with the Rev. Ronnie D. Washington officiating. Interment was in Eastview Cemetery in Newnan. Serving as pallbearers were friends of the family.

Mr. Driver was born Oct. 23, 1903 in Carroll County to the late Tom Driver and the late Minnie Lee Hancock Driver. He was retired and had worked as a building supervisor for Fulton County.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at McKoon Funeral Home in Newnan. Officiating will be the Rev. Bobby Helton and the Rev. Searcy Jackson and interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Catharine Barron Edwards, 88, of Newnan died Jan. 31, 1998 at Beaulieu Convalescent Center in Newnan.
Mrs. Edwards was the previous owner of the Newnan Credit Exchange and The Specialty Shop. Born Jan. 26, 1910, she was active in religious, civic and social events in Newnan. She was a member of First Baptist Church and was Junior Sunday School teacher for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willis Reese Edwards, former president of the Newnan Savings Bank.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home with Dr. Eugene Tyre, Dr. Robert T. Baggott and the Rev. Harry E. Barron Jr. officiating. Interment was in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Lois Estelle Henry, 85, of Newnan died Jan. 31, 1998 at West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange.
She was born in Mississippi Feb. 14, 1912 and was retired as a winder operator. She was preceded in death by her husband, O. D. Henry and two sons, Danny Henry and Charles Randall Henry.
Funeral services were held Monday morning at McKoon Funeral Home in Newnan with the Rev. Don McGaha and the Rev. Ken Formby officiating. Interment was in St. Paul's United Methodist Church cemetery in Whitesburg, Ga.
Pallbearers were John McCollough, Tory Faulk, Chad Henry, Scott Huckeba, Greg Lehtimaki, Kelly Ponder. Honorary pallbearers were Mark Carpenter, Kevin Elrod and Mark Hammett.

Dr. Daniel Ferguson Brewster Jr.
Dr. Daniel Ferguson Brewster Jr., 81, of Newnan died Feb. 3, 1998, at Newnan Hospital.
Born Dec. 23, 1916 in Newnan, Dr. Brewster was the son of the late Daniel and Sarah Brewster. He attended Carrollton High School and West Georgia College.
Dr. Brewster received a bachelor's degree from Emory University, a master's degree from the Candler School of Theology in 1948 and an honorary doctor of divinity degree from LaGrange College in 1966.
A Methodist minister, he was licensed to preach on June 30, 1937 in the Rome District and was received into full connection in 1948. He retired on June 30, 1984, after 42 years.
Dr. Brewster served the Mt. Zion Circuit, 1941-43; the Lithia Springs Circuit, 1943-48; First Church Dallas, 1948-1953; First Church Barnesville, 1953-1957; First Church Thomson, 1957-61 and First Church Newnan, 1961-1964. He served as executive director of the Georgia Commission on Higher Education and Campus Ministry from 1964-84. He also was active in many district and conference committees.
Active in civic organizations, Dr. Brewster took special interest in the Boys Scouts. He achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in 1937 and served as scoutmaster for Troop #1 in Carrollton from 1938-1942, working with various committees in the Flint River District. He was the district's commissioner from 1985-88.
Dr. Brewster was a member of the National Eagle Scout Association and the National Association of United Methodist Scouters. He was on the Conference Committee on Scouting from 1982-92 and received the God and Church Award in 1985 and the Silver Beaver Award in 1987.
Interment will be today at 3 p.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. A memorial service will follow at 3:30 p.m. at Newnan First United Methodist Church.
