Mrs. Vera Mae Gamble Addison, 74, of East Cole St. in Newnan died Friday, June 19, 1998 at Beaulieu Convalescent Center in Newnan.
Mrs. Addison was born Aug. 11, 1923 in Grantville, daughter of the late James Otis Gamble and the late Evie Payne Gamble. A longtime resident of Newnan, she was a member of East Newnan Baptist Church and the wife of the late George W. Addison.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 21 in the chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Rev. Udell Addison will officiate and burial will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville. Pallbearers will be Billy Joe Addison, Russell Addison, Randy Grant, Bobby Estep, Harold Thornton and Rick McFee.

Mrs. Lillie Mae Bridges Lynch of Belk Road, Newnan, died June 15, 1998 at her residence.
She was born Nov. 10, 1909 in Troup County to the late Mr. Walter Caldwell and Ms. Mary Boozer. She was married to the late Mr. Raymond B. "Bitterweed" Bridges. She joined the Summerhill Baptist Church at an early age and later joines the Mount Sinai Bapitst Church.
A funeral was held Friday, June 19 at Sellers-Smith R.W.S. Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Larry Bonner officiating. Burial was in Westview Cemetery in Newnan. Pallbearers were friends of the family.

Mr. Kendrick H. McKoy
Mr. Kendrick H. McKoy died Saturday, June 20, 1998.
Mr. McKoy retired from the U.S. Postal Service Data Center after 34 years of service. He was a member of Algible Freedom Lodge, the Moolah Shrine Temple, Scottish Rite, Moolah Motor Patrol and Crestwood Elks. A Moolah Motor Patrol Service was Monday at 7 p.m., followed by a Masonic service and Rose Croix service.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 23, 1998, at New Kutis South Country Chapel funeral home (Butler Hill) St. Louis, MO. Burial will be at Park Lawn Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by a son, David McKoy and a sister, Vicki.

Mr. Ed Mullinax, 80, of LaGrange, Ga., died June 21, 1998 at the Presbyterian Village in Austell, Ga., from complications of Alzheimer's Disease.
A former Georgia legislator and broadcaster from LaGrange, Mr. Mullinax was born in Gadsden, Ala. to the late Gus and Dora Haynes Mullinax, August 12, 1917. He lived in LaGrange 55 years before moving to Austell in 1995. He was active in the early stages of cable television and had been a co-owner of cable systems in LaGrange, Newnan and Manchester. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Lucille Cage Mullinax.
A funeral will be held at cryptside in Shadowlawn Mausoleum in LaGrange at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 23. Officiating will be Dr. George R. Sinclair Jr. Entombment will be in Shadowlawn Mausoleum, LaGrange.

She was born April 25, 1941 in Carrollton to Mrs. Martha Ruth Addison Reid and the late Mr. Bobby Reid. She grew up in Carrollton and at an early age joined the First Baptist Church in Carrollton. She was married to Mr. Harold T. Mullins June 9, 1960 and they were married for 38 years. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Sylvia Beedles, brother, Mr. Michael Reid, and brother-in-law, Mr. George Hart.

Born Sept. 13, 1903 in Heard County, Mrs. Coggin was the daughter of the late Charles and Mattie Shannon Houston. A member of Westside Baptist Church, she worked for Newnan Textiles mill and was a farmer and a homemaker.
A funeral will be Friday, June 26, at 2 p.m. at Westside Baptist Church, with Dr. Melvin Payne officiating. The body will lie in state an hour before the service.
Burial will follow the funeral at Oak Hill Cemetery, with Gregory Dewberry, Bryan Hull, Danny Perkins, Ronnie Orr, Bobby Coggin and Steve Hendrix as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Vickie Meeks Boynton, a hospice care nurse.

Mrs. Thelma Porch Wood
Mrs. Thelma Porch Wood of Louisville, Kentucky, formerly of Newnan, died June 25, 1998 in Kentucky.
She was born Jan. 25, 1915 to the late Wilbur Jenkins and Mari D. Jenkins. A brother, Uearl Jenkins preceded her in death.
A funeral was Monday, June 29 at Friendship Baptist Church with the Rev. Felton James officiating. Burial was in Eastview Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were family and friends.
Survivors include her children, Amelia A. Cork, Mary M. Herring, Georgia W. Burroughs Jr., Howard L. Porch, Carl E. Porch; 15 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
