Mrs. Zema Hardy Jackson, 93, of Centralhatchee died Aug. 10, 1998.
Mrs. Jackson was born March 13, 1905 in Heard County, daughter of the late W. B. and Laura Vaughn Hardy. She attended the Fourth District A&M School in Carrollton and was employed by the Heard County Board of Education.
Mrs. Jackson was a member of First United Methodist Church of Centralhatchee and the Centralhatchee Chapter of the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hulette Jackson, and a sister, Ann Hardy Adams.
Services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Almon Funeral Home in Carrollton with the Rev. Tim Reeve officiating. Also participating in the service will be Lee Barr, Jack Barr, Joe Jackson and Pat Reynolds.
Interment will be at Centralhatchee Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeff Guldner, Stephen Blackburn, Greg Jackson, Ben Jackson, Chuck Adams and Kris Larsen.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7-9 p.m.

Miss Frances Moore, 72, of 6108 Smokey Rd., Newnan died Aug. 9, 1998 at Hospice LaGrange.
Miss Moore was born July 23, 1926 in Coweta County, daughter of the late Paul and Mary Gaddy Moore. She was a lifelong resident of Coweta County.
Miss Moore was a member of Corinth Baptist Church. She was a retired inspector for Baby Cloze Manufacturing Company in Franklin.
Services will be held today at 2 p.m. at Corinth Baptist Church with the Rev. Milton Hall and the Rev. Bill Brock officiating. Interment will follow at Corinth Cemetery.

Mr. David Winfield Rose, 79, of Highway 85, Senoia died Aug. 9, 1998 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Atlanta.
Mr. Rose was born June 2, 1919 in DeKalb County, son of the late Charlie A. and Annie Janet Reagin Rose. He was a produce salesman and a U. S. Army veteran of World War II.

Born May 18, 1951, Mr. Arnold was the son of the late Thelma Hall and Gavin Arnold. He was a member of Newnan Chapel United Methodist Church.

Born in Bleckley County, Mrs. Rogers was the daughter of the late Barto and Mattie Mack Crosby Mixon and the wife of the late William Lee Rogers and William Mack Rogers. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Stancil Williams.
Mrs. Rogers was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church and a homemaker.

Mrs. Crumbley was born December 16, 1900 in Carroll County, Georgia. She was a homemaker and member of Mills Chapel Baptist Church of Newnan.

Mrs. Belle Maddox Gill, 88, of Grantville, died Sunday, August 16, 1998, at Hospice LaGrange.
The funeral service was conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, August 17 at the First United Methodist Church of Grantville. The Rev. Darris Baker and the Rev. Ellis Freeman officiated, and interment was in Oak Hill Cemetery in Newnan.

Mrs. Gill was born July 16, 1910 in Newnan, daughter of the late Oscar Franklin Maddox and the late Rebecca Foster Maddox. She lived in the Atlanta area for a number of years before making her home in Grantville in 1979, and was the wife of the late Christopher Lamar Gill. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Grantville and was retired from Sears Roebuck and Company in Atlanta after 35 years of service.
Survivors include daughter, Mrs. Maridelle Wilbanks of Grantville; grandchildren, Mrs. Melanie Wilbanks Kuydendall of Canton, Mrs. Pamela Wilbanks Harvard of Prattville, Alabama, and Christopher Wilbanks of Grantville; two great-grandchildren, Ashton Brooks Harvard and Savannah Lee Harvard, both of Prattville; a niece, Mrs. Marian Derby of Boulder City, Nevada; and a nephew, Jack Maddox of Stansbury Park, Utah.

Mrs. Carrie Odell Reeves Irvin, 86, of Newnan, died August 14, 1998 at her residence.
Mrs. Irvin was born July 7, 1912 in Meriwether County. A member of Zion Hill Baptist Church in Newnan, she served with the Sunbeams, Junior Choir, Vacation Bible School, Senoir Choir, Mission, BTU, Sunday School, Women's Auxiliary of the Western Missionary Baptist Association, as chairperson of the Ways and Means Committee and a member of the Coweta County Women's Convention. She became a "Recycled Teenager" with the Newnan Senior Citizen's Center program.
A funeral will be Tuesday, August 18, at 2 p.m. at Zion Hill Baptist Church. The Rev. W. J. Johnson will officiate, assisted by other ministers. Interment will be in East View Cemetery in Newnan. Pall bearers will be deacons and trustees of Zion Hill Baptist Church. Honorary escorts will be members of the Newnan Senior Citizens Center and the Western Missionary Baptist Association.

Mr. W. W. Ledbetter, 93, of Newnan, died Monday, August 17, 1998 at Dogwood Health Care.
Mr. Ledbetter was born Jan. 13, 1905 in Opelika, Alabama. He was the son of the late James W. Ledbetter and the former Frances Herring. A cabinet maker, he was a member of First Pentecostal Holiness Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Johnson Ledbetter.

Mrs. Cecile T. Sikes, 69, of Line Creek Road, Haralson, died Monday, August 17, 1998 at Southwest Christian Hospice.
A funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 18, at Haralson Baptist Church with the Rev. Ron Whitlock officiating, assisted by the Rev. Sidney Gresham and the Rev. Gary Parrish. Mr. Sikes was born Sept. 5, 1928, in Haralson, Ga., to the late Leonard Sikes and the former Corrine McCollough. He worked as a payroll clerk with Westinghouse Corp. and was a member of Haralson Baptist Church.
Surviving are son, Gary Sikes of Newnan; brothers, Oliver Turner of Haralson and Bob Turner of Dalton; grandchildren, Molly Sikes and Chrissy Sikes of Newnan.

Mrs. Virginia Blalock Meeks, 79, of Ocilla died Aug. 18, 1998 at Palmyra Medical Center in Albany.
Born Aug. 24, 1918 in Ocala, Fla., Mrs. Meeks was the daughter of the late W. Florence Blalock and Elizabeth Harrell Blalock. She was a member of Ocilla Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School and was a member of the Women's Missionary Union. She was a 1935 graduate of Tift County High School in Tifton.
The funeral will be Thursday, Aug. 20, at 11 a.m. at Ocilla Baptist Church, with the Rev. Phil Wilkes officiating. Burial will follow at Ocilla Cemetery.

Born Sept. 5, 1927 in Haralson, Mrs. Sikes was the daughter of the late Willie Hugh and Corrine McCollough Sikes and the wife of the late Leonard Sikes. She was preceded in death by a brother, Howard Turner.
Mrs. Sikes was a retired payroll clerk with Westinghouse Corporation and a member of Haralson Baptist Church.
The funeral was Aug. 18, 1998 at Haralson Baptist Church, with the Rev. Ron Whitlock officiating, assisted by the Rev. Gary Parish and the Rev. Sidney Gresham.
