Born March 1, 1910 in Cinch County, Mrs. Fiveash the daughter of the late James Smith and Virginia Taylor Smith and the wife of the late John Walter Fiveash Sr. She was a homemaker.

Sgt. 1st Class Roger T. Peterson, 71, of Hogansville died May 20, 1999 at his home.
Born Sept. 2, 1927 in Cleveland, Ohio, Mr. Peterson retired from the U.S. Army in 1969, after 21 years of service, including tours in Korea and Vietnam. He also retired from Maitland Drug Stores after 20 years and was a member of South Seminole Masonic Lodge in Castleberry.
The funeral will be Sunday, May 23, at 2 p.m. at Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Corinth Cemetery with full military honors.

Mr. Robert Harold Riley
Mr. Robert Harold Riley, 73, of Alpharetta, died May 20, 1999 at St. Joseph's Hospital after a long illness.
Born Dec. 22, 1925 in Gadsden, Ala., Mr. Riley was the son of the late Robert Jackson Wiley and Myrtle Entrekin Riley. He was preceded in death by a brother, Elmer Riley.
After receiving his bachelor's degree in commercial art and graphic design from the University of Alabama in 1948, he became training publications director for The Infantry Center at Ft. Benning.
He moved to New York City in 1951 to pursue a career in commercial design, and became vice president of John Peter Associates, Inc. Advertising Consultants. During his 13 years there, Mr. Wiley assisted in the editorial redesigning of McCall's, Harper's Bazaar,and Parents magazines and performed projects for a diverse clientele, including Reynolds Metals Co., McGraw Hill, Time, Inc., Curtis Publishing Co., and the U. S. Information Agency. His illustrations were featured in Hallmark cards and Time-Life books.
Riley moved to the Atlanta area in 1963 with his family. He served as vice president and creative director for several advertising and printing companies, including Chuck Shields Advertising, General Lithography Company and Crumbley Robertson Riley Advertising, Inc.
He created and designed The Flat Book and The Presidents' Book which won a Freedom Foundation Award under the sponsorship of Atlanta Federal Savings and Loan in 1976. In later years, he was advertising director for Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate Division and an advertising consultant for numerous clients
Mr. Riley was a dedicated Christian and served his church, First Baptist of Roswell, in many capacities. He was a deacon, past chairman of the Sunday School and sang in the Sanctuary Choir for more than 25 years.
He was a past member of the Public Relations Board of Southeastern Baptist Seminary in Wake Forest, N.C., the Art Directors Club of Atlanta, the Roswell Lions Club and Kappa Sigma Fraternity. He enjoyed painting, gardening golf, tennis, and appreciated all of the fine arts, especially classical music.
A memorial service will be at the First Baptist Church of Roswell on Sunday, May 23, at 2 p.m. The body will be cremated.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Catherine Harwell Riley; sons and daughters-in-law, the Rev. John Robert Riley and Dana C. Riley of Newnan, The Rev. Alan Harold Riley and Fonda D. Mr. Frank H. Gattis, 65, of the St. Marks Community of Meriwether County, died Saturday, May 22, 1999 at West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange.
Mr. Gattis was born April 5, 1934 in Monroe, son of the late Gleaton and Bunnye Boyce Gattis. He had lived at St. Marks since 1978, was a member of Union Baptist Church, and had served in the National Guard. He was the retired owner of several retail businesses.
A funeral was conduced at 3 p.m. Monday, May 24 at Union Baptist Church in St. Marks. The Rev. Bill Deakins officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Mr. Neill was Born July 28, 1916 in Coweta County. He was a retired carpenter and member of Bethel United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nellie Mae Gilbert Neill.

Mrs. Mildred Ellerbee Parham, 77, of Hogansville, died Sunday, May 23, 1999 at West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange.
Mrs. Parham was born August 15, 1921 in Porterdale, Ga., daughter of the late Hardy Graham Ellerbee and the late Lillie Dailey Ellerbee. She had lived in Hogansville since 1945 and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Hogansville and the Annie Pearl Darden Circle. She was a graduate of St. Margaret's School of Nursing in Montgomery, Ala. and was a retired registered nurse.

Mrs. Stevenson was a native of Clark County, Georgia and was the daughter of Grady and Nannie Bell Miller. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her father, Grady Miller, and sister, Juanita Miller.

Mrs. Halberta Hiner "Tee" Franks, 83, of Newnan died May 23, 1999 at her home.
Born in Phoenix, Ariz., Mrs. Franks worked at the Arizona Republic until she married Hobart Franks, an advertising executive with the Republic and Gazette who died in 1983. She later wrote a newspaper column for five years.
In 1957, Mrs. Franks moved to Atlanta. She volunteered with the Phoenix Symphony and the Atlanta Arts Festival.
A graduate of Phoenix Union High School, Mrs. Franks attended Phoenix Junior College. She moved to Newnan in 1998.
A memorial service was held May 25 at Wesley Woods of Newnan-Peachtree City. Memorial contributions can be made to the Atlanta Steinway Society or the Newnan-Coweta Public Library.

Born in Taylor County, the Rev. Locke the husband of the late Annie Ruth Locke. He was a Baptist minister for more than 50 years, starting at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Thomaston.
He served at Mountain View Baptist Church in Thomaston; Taylors Mill Baptist Church in Taylors Mill; McIntosh Baptist Church; Trinity Baptist Church, both in Newnan; and Smyrna Baptist Church in Thomaston.
The Rev. Locke also retired from The Martha's Mills after 40 years as supervisor of the Twisting Department.
