Mr. William Clyde Wilkie, 74, of Newnan, died Tuesday morning, November 16, 1999 at Tanner Memorial Hospital in Carrollton after a long illness.
Mr. Wilkie was a veteran of the United States Army and the United States Airforce serving in both World War II and the Korean Conflict. Mr. Wilkie was retired after a long career with the Federal Government.
A private funeral is planned.
Surviving are his wife, Phyllis P. Wilkie of Newnan; son, Tony Wilkie of Lincolnton, N.C.; brothers, Jack Wilkie, James Earl Wilkie and Troy Wilkie; sisters, Gertrude McDaniel, Lucy Weaver and Jean Allen.

Mr. Paul B. Barbee, 67, of Newnan, died Wednesday, Nov. 17, 1999 at Newnan Hospital.
Mr. Barbee was born August 18, 1932 in Bluefield, West Virginia. He was a retired colonel in the U.S. Army and National Guard.
A memorial service will be held at McEwen Funeral Home in Charlotte, North Carolina, on Saturday, Nov. 20 at 11 a.m..

Mr. Nerion Henry "Butch" Murphy, 58, of Eufaula, Alabama, died Tuesday, November 16, 1999 at the Montgomery Veterans Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Mr. Murphy was born Feb. 12, 1941, son of the late Luther Carl Murphy and the late Brunell Ira Galloway. Mr. Murphy was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Murphy. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force after serving 20 years and two tours in Vietnam.
A funeral will be Nov. 19 at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Kent Funeral Home in Eufaula, Ala. The Rev. Bob Britt will officiate, with burial in Epworth Cemetery with full military honors.

Mrs. Emily Fuller, 68, of Luthersville, died Thursday, November 18, 1999 at Emory Peachtree Regional Hospital in Newnan.
Mrs. Fuller ws born June 4, 1931 in Luthersville. She was a member of the Luthersville United Methodist Church, was retired from the First American Bank in Luthersville, and was the wife of the late Henry Fuller.
A funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 20 at the Luthersville United Methodist Church. The Rev. Rance Sprayberry, the Rev. Floyd Tenney and the Rev. Ronnie Hughes will officiate. Mr. Leonard Sewell, 68, of Greenville, Ga. died November 17, 1999 at LaGrange Hospice in LaGrange, Ga.
He was born May 28, 1931 in Meriwether County. A member of the Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Luthersville, he served as chairman of the Deacon Board, and was an active member of the Zion Hill Male Choir. He retired in 1989 from Uniroyal Mills in Hogansville, Ga.
A funeral will be Sunday, Nov. 21 at 2:30 p.m. at Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Luthersville, with the Rev. D. L. Driver officiating. Assisting will be the Rev. Clifford Black, Rev. Lowinston Jackson, and Rev. Emmett Clark. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be the Zion Hill Male Choir. Active pallbearers will be nephews.

Mr. Bobby Eugene Cline, 67, of Highway 120, Buchanan, Ga., and formerly of Morgan Road, Temple, Ga., died Saturday, November 20, 1999 at his residence following an extended illness.
Mr. Cline was born August 31, 1932 in Haralson County, Ga., son of the late Thomas William Cline Sr. and the late Mrs. Trudie Phillips Cline. He was a retired maintenance worker and a member of the Corinth Baptist Church and attended Fullerville Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, one sister, Mrs. Sally Webb and one brother, Mr. William Thomas Cline Jr., preceded him in death.
A funeral was Monday, Nov. 22 at 2 p.m. at the Fullerville Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Swafford and the Rev. Horace Wilson officiating. Musical selections were provided by Susan Hunter, accompanied by Tony Harris and Eric Cline. Burial was in the Garden of the Cross of Meadowbrook Memory Gardens on Hickory Level Road in Villa Rica.

Mrs. Mary C. Hawkins, 75, of Blandenburg Road, Carrollton, died Sunday, Nov. 21, 1999 in a Newnan hospital.
Mrs. Hawkins was a native of Carroll County and was the daughter of the late Tom Crawford and Tannie Harwell Crawford. She was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Nora Buchanan and Ruby Crawford; and three brothers, Archie, Grady and Reese Crawford.
A funeral will be Tuesday, Nov. 23 at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Almon Funeral Home in Carrollton with Rev. Keith Hancock and the Rev. Karen Kagiyama officiating. Music will be furnished by Mrs. Becky Griffin.

Lt. Col. (Ret.) Emma Ruth Pyke
Lt. Col. (Ret.) Emma Ruth Pyke, 85, of Sharpsburg, Ga. died Saturday, Nov. 20, 1999.
Lt. Col. Pyke was commissioned in June 1932 in the Salvation Army and served alongside her husband in various appointments throughout the South. Upon his death in 1973, she served in the Atlanta Territorial Headquarters until her retirement in December 1978. She had a love for people and a heart for the Lord, according to her family.
A funeral will be held in the H. M. Patterson and Son Spring Hill chapel in Atlanta Wednesday, Nov. 24, at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Westview Cemetery in Atlanta.

Mrs. Cash was born June 24, 1917 in Oglethorpe County, Georgia to Jack Wilson Brooks and Annie Mae Cheek. She worked as a manicurist and was a member of the Jehovas Witness Kingdom Hall.

Mrs. Rachel Reid Yarbrough, 87, of Hogansville, died Tuesday, November 23, 1999 at Newnan Hospital.
Mrs. Yarbrough was born Dec. 21, 1911 in Troup County, daughter of the late John and Annie Davis Reid. She was a lifelong resident of Hogansville, was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Hogansville, and was the wife of the late Robert L. Yarbrough.
A funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 26 in the chapel of the Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Rev. Wesley Boatman will officiate and burial will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville.
