Mr. Bell was born Nov. 17, 1944 in Meriwether County.
A funeral will be held Wednesday, Dec. 1 at 2 p.m. at Red Oak Baptist Church in Woodbury. The Rev. Edward Harris will officiate, assisted by Evangelist Lena Hill and Minister Dennis Mitchell. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Family friends will serve as pallbearers.

Mrs. Nellie Margaret Benson Webb, wife of Melvin D. Webb, longtime resident of Decatur and Peachtree City, Ga. and most recently of Augusta, Ga., died November 30, 1999 after an extended illness.
Mrs. Webb was a secretary in the City of Decatur School System at Oakhurst and Westchester Schools for 25 years. A member of Oakhurst Baptist Church and Glenwood Baptist Church, she taught Sunday School for 35 years.
Married for 53 years, she is survivied by her husband Melvin D. Webb of Augusta, Ga.; son, Michael and Dianne Webb of Newnan, Ga.; daughter, Ranee and Larry Bullard of Evans, Ga.; sister, Joyce and Tommy Aiken of Conyers, Ga.; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 2 at 2 p.m. at Carl J. Mowell and Son Funeral Home in Peachtree City. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Newnan. The Rev. Kader White and the Rev. Larry Bullard will officiate.

Mr. Sam C. Yeager Jr., 75, of Moreland, Ga., died Saturday, November 27, 1999 at Emory Peachtree Regional Hospital in Newnan.
Mr. Yeager was born November 13, 1924 in Coweta County, son of the late Samuel and Rosia Boswell Yeager. He was an Army veteran of World War II, was a member of the First Baptist Church of Moreland, and had lived in Moreland most of his life.
A funeral was 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 29 in the chapel of the Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Rev. Jerry Eley and Dr. Gene Minix officiated and burial was in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Newnan.
Pallbearers were Dale Knott, Wesley Knott, Mark Yeager, Tony Yeager, Matthew Drake and Allen Yeager.

Mr. Howard Autrey Bowen, 60, of Peachtree City, Ga. died at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton, Ga., Tuesday, November 30, 1999.
Mr. Bowen was born in Troup County, Georgia April 29, 1930, the son of the late Willie Myron Bowen and Lillie Mae Hinson Bowen. He was a retired owner and operator of an auto paint shop and was a Baptist by faith. He lived in Franklin, Ga. many years and was loved by many.
A funeral was Thursday, Dec. 2 at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Tom Stutts and Son Funeral Home in Franklin with the Rev. Doug Bingham officiating. Vocal music was rendered by Leesa Stutts Cothran. Funeral services for Mrs. Lois Duke Daniel, 94, of Franklin, Ga., the Ephesus community, were held Tuesday, November 30, 1999 at 2 p.m. at Tom Stutts and Son Funeral Home chapel in Franklin.
Burial followed in the Ephesus Baptist Church Cemetery. Music was provided by Mrs. Daniel's granddaughter, Mrs. Cindy Alexander and Ms. Elsie Killgore. Pallbearers were Allen Duke, Heddie Duke, Jack Henderson, Lamar Wood, Jimmy Harmon, Mack Whitley, Shad Alexander and John Alexander.
Mrs. Daniel was born in Omaha, Alabama January 15, 1905, to the late Mr. Alonzo Duke and Mrs. Francis Moore Duke. She was a retired textile worker, employed in the merchandise business and was a homemaker. She was an active member of the Ephesus Baptist Church for 70 years. Mrs. Daniel was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. L. M. Daniel, and son Duke Daniel.
Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Harold Jackson of the Ephesus community; grandchildren Cindy and John Alexander of Sharpsburg, Ga., and Daryle and Cathy Jackson of LaGrange, Ga.; three great-grandchildren, Brook Katz, Chad and Ryan Alexander of Sharpsburg; two step-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Joseph C. Nickelson, 71, of Woodbury, Ga. died Wednesday, December 1, 1999 at Georgia Baptist Meriwether Hospital.
Mr. Nickelson was born September 26, 1928 in Fulton County, Ga. He worked as an inspector with Delta Airlines and was a retired builder. A veteran, he served in the U.S. Army.

Mr. Story was born November 21, 1908 in Heard County, son of the late George Robert Story and the late Alice DeLoach Story. Before making his home in Carrollton two years ago, he lived in Franklin for 20 years and in Grantville for 17 years. He was a retired restaurant owner and was a member of Corinth Baptist Church.
Surviving are granddaughter, Mrs. Sara Rowell of Franklin; four great-grandchildren; a number of nieces, nephews and cousins, including Mrs. Myrle Denney of Roopville and Mrs. Ruth Hanson of Lilburn.

Mrs. Van Netta was born October 2, 1906 in Island Grove, Florida, daughter of the late William James Cannon and the late Leila Sykes Cannon. She lived in Melrose, Florida and Huntsville, Alabama before making her home in LaGrange in 1996, was a member of the Baptist fiath, and was the wife of the late Ernest Irvin Van Netta.
Surviving are daughter, Mrs. Marilyn Dodson of Hogansville; five grandchildren, James Dodson of Tempe, Ariz., Elizabeth Dodson of Hogansville, and Kathleen Van Netta, Barbara Allison and Andrea McManus, all of Huntsville, Ala.; two great-grandchildren, Matthew Knopp of Hogansville and Evan McManus of Huntsville.
She was preceded in death by a son, Ernest Arthur Van Netta.

Mr. Howard Eugene Brown, 74, of Franklin, died Friday, December 3, 1999 at Portsbridge Hospice in Riverdale.
Mr. Brown was born November 30, 1925, in East Point. He was the son of the late Louie and Elsie Kelley Brown, and moved to Heard County in 1982. Mr. Brown was a veteran of World War II and was a member of American Legion Post 51. A retired truck driver, Mr. Brown attended High Point Church of God.
A funeral will be held today, December 5, 1999, at 2 p.m. at High Point Church of God in Heard County. The Rev. Loyce Walker and the Rev. Mickey Noles will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Williams, 83, of Newnan and formerly of Haralson, Ga., died Sunday, December 5, 1999 at Beaulieu Convalescent Center in Newnan.
Mrs. Williams was born October 6, 1916 in Georgia. She was a member of Haralson Baptist Church. Her husband Carl Carter Williams Jr. preceded her in death.
A funeral will be held at graveside in Senoia City Cemetery Wednesday, Dec. 8 at 2 p.m. Dr. William M. Suttles will officiate.
Surviving are her sons, Carl C. Williams III and wife Sandra of Newnan, Clark A. Williams and wife Martha Ann of Senoia, and Herbie Williams and wife Joy of Newnan; sister, Esther Gordon and her husband Fuller Gordon of Newnan; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Anastasiya Granina, 80, died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 1999 at Southwest Christian Hospice Center in Union City, Ga. after a short illness.
Mrs. Granina moved from Russia to Sharpsburg two years ago to be with her family. While in Russia, Mrs. Granina was an Industrial Security Person.
The family will receive friends at Jones Funeral Home in Newnan Wednesday morning, Dec. 8, from 11 a.m. to noon. A graveside service will be held immediately afterwards at White Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery at 12:30 p.m. with the pastor, the Rev. Tom Shannon, presiding.

Ms. Phillips was born July 4, 1910 in Cumberland County, North Carolina to Joel Jefferson Johnson and the former Oliva Strickland. She was a retired LPN from Newnan Hospital and a member of First Christian Church.
A funeral will be at Hillcrest Chapel Wednesday, Dec. 8 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Henry Clay officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Newnan.

Mrs. Margaret Attenborough
Mrs. Margaret Attenborough, 85, of Grantville, Ga. died Wednesday, December 8, 1999 at Starcrest Convalescent Center in Newnan.
Mrs. Attenborough was born May 8, 1914 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Michael John Russman and the late Amelia Nagel Russman. Before making her home at Grantville three years ago, she lived in Pittsburgh most of her life and was retired from Keystone Plumbing Company. She attended Faith Baptist Church at Moreland and was the wife of the late Arthur Attenborough.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 10 at Faith Baptist Church in Moreland. Dr. Mark Spence and the Rev. Timothy Baumgarten will officiate.
The family will receive friends at the church from 1-2 p.m. Friday afternoon.
Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Patricia Baumgarten of Grantville; son, Thomas Attenborough, also of Grantville; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Marguerite Mansour, 82, of Mansour Circle, Newnan, died Thursday, December 9, 1999 at her residence.
Mrs. Mansour was born January 29, 1917 in Dawson, Georgia. She was a retired clothing merchant. Mrs. Mansour and her husband, the late Taft Mansour Sr., and their family for many years owned and operated the former Mansour's department store which was a fixture on Newnan's Court Square. She was a member of St. George Catholic Church.
The family will receive friends at McKoon Funeral Home Friday, December 10 from 7-9 p.m.
A funeral will be held Saturday, Dec. 11 at 11 a.m. at St. George Catholic Church with Father Leo Herbert officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
