Mr. Barnes was born February 11, 1933 in Newnan. He had retired after 21 years in the United States Army. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War where he served two tours.
The family will receive friends Thursday, March 2, from 7-9 p.m. at McKoon Funeral Home in Newnan.
A funeral will be Friday, March 3, at 2 p.m. at McKoon Funeral Home with Dr. Gene Tyre, the Rev. Don Helms and the Rev. Searcy Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park on Roscoe Road.

Mr. Bobbie Lee Bell, 35, of Senoia, died February 26, 2000 at Emory Peachtree Regional Hospital.
Mr. Bell was born July 16, 1964 in Coweta County.
A funeral was Wednesday, March 1, at 1 p.m. at Roscoe Jenkins Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. James Ferrell officiating, assisted by other ministers. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery in Senoia. Nephews served as pallbearers.

Mr. Henry Albert Doyle, 69, of Franklin, Ga., died at his home Tuesday, February 29, 2000.
He was born March 5, 1930 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Clarence Albert Doyle and Catherine Davis Doyle. Mr. Doyle was a retired plumber and was a member of the Local Plumber and Pipe Fitters Union No. 72.
A funeral for Mr. Doyle will be conducted Friday, March 3, at 2 p.m. at the Tom Stutts and Son Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin with the Reverends Doug New and Doug Porter officiating. Burial will be in the Carroll Memory Gardens in Carrollton, Ga.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m.

Mr. Hancel L. Mason, 74, of Hogansville, died Wednesday, March 1, 2000 of injuries received in an auto accident in Grantville.

Mr. Mason was born March 27, 1925 in Clay County, Alabama, son of the late E.H. and Eris King Mason. he had lived in Hogansville since 1946 and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church, where he was a former choir director and Sunday School superintendent. He retired as an industrial engineer for Uniroyal, Inc. after 40 years of service, had served as elections superintendent in Hogansville, and was a former member and president of the Hogansville Kiwanis Club. Following his retirement, he was employed at Ingles of Hogansville and at Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home for 14 years.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Bobbie Mason of Hogansville; two daughters and sons-in-law, Janice and Jerry McLaughlin of Marathon, Florida, and Lynn and William Williams of Port St. Joe, Florida; one son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Dianne Mason of Snellville; two step-daughters and a stepson-in-law, Yvonne McKibben of Hogansville and Rhonda and Donald Broach of Grantville; sister, Mrs. Sarah Beall of Hogansville; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Mary Duncan, 72, of Sharpsburg, died Thursday, March 2, at her home.
Mrs. Duncan was born in Ripley, Miss., to William Leroy and Ruby Brooksie Wildman Norton. She was married to Howard Eugene Duncan for 55 years. Mrs. Duncan was active in community affairs. She was a member of Southwest Christian Church, a 10-year volunteer for Travelers' Aid at Hartsfield International Airport and a volunteer and buyer for the gift shop at Emory Peachtree Regional Hospital. She worked 25 years with the Girl Scouts.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, March 5 in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home. Minister Jim Dyer will officiate. The family will accept visitors from 5-7 p.m. March 4 at the funeral home. The family requests that flowers be omitted, and contributions be made to the Southwest Christian Hospice, 7225 Lester Road, Union City, Ga., 30269.

Mrs. Azzie Lee Weaver, 84, died March 2 at South Fulton Medical Center.
Mrs. Weaver was born July 6, 1915, in Fulton County to the late Mr. and Mrs. Lonnie Beadles. She joined Macedonia Methodist Church at an early age, and later moved her membership to Vernon Grove Baptist Church, where she served until her health began to fail. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Weaver Dyer.
A funeral will be held today, March 4, at 2 p.m. at Vernon Grove Baptist Church in Palmetto. The Rev. Edward Thrash will officiate, assisted by the Rev. John Farmer and the Rev. Willie Starks. Burial will be in the church Cemetery, and friends of the family will serve as pallbearers.

Mrs. Ashley was born April 26, 1909, in Heard County to the late Robert Farmer and Mollie Shirey Lewis. She lived in Hogansville most of her life, was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and attended the Hogansville Senior Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilburt Ashley, Sr.

Mr. Keith was born January 31, 1909 in Meriwether County, son of the late William Perry Keith and the late Adelia Jeter Keith. He was a lifelong resident of Meriwether County, was a retired dairyman, and was a member of Union Baptist Church in the St. Marks Community of Meriwether County. He was a member of the Meriwether County Cattlemen's Association and the Farm Bureau.

Mr. Parker was born June 21, 1958 in Coweta County. He was a die repair supervisor at William L Bonnell Co. in Newnan and attended Elim Baptist Church. His father, Lanny Schlomer, preceded him in death.
A memorial service will be held at Elim Baptist Church Friday, March 10 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Ford Ash officiating. The remains are being cremated.

A funeral will be held at graveside Friday, March 10, 2000 in Oak Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Joe Strickland officiating.
Pallbearers will be Elmer Hinesley, Byron Hinesley, Kenny Smallwood, Ronnie Evans, Bradley Wiles and Ervin Chisenhall.
Surviving are nephew, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Hinesley of Newnan; niece, Mr. and Mrs. Gene Evans of Hogansville.

Mr. William Gregory "Billy" Parker, 41, of Grantville, died Wednesday, March 8, 2000.
Mr. Parker was born June 21, 1958 in Coweta County. He was a die repair supervisor at William L Bonnell Co. in Newnan and attended Elim Baptist Church. His father, Lanny Schlomer, preceded him in death.
A memorial service will be held at Elim Baptist Church Friday, March 10 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Ford Ash officiating. The remains are being cremated.
Surviving are his wife, Kay Parker of Grantville; mother, Betty Pittman Schloemer of Newnan; daughter, Jennifer Lynn Parker of Marietta; brother, Randy Schloemer of Newnan; several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Elim Baptist Church Building Fund or the church cemetery fund.

Mrs. Ruby P. Spratlin, 93, of Marietta, died Wednesday, March 8, 2000.
A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta with the Rev. G. B. Howell officiating.
Surviving are son, Robert D. Spratlin of Marietta; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Beatrice Thurman
Mrs. Beatrice Thurman, 99, of Newnan, died March 5, 2000 at Newnan Hospital.
Mrs. Thurman was born October 3, 1900 in Meriwether County. She was a member of the Zion Hill Baptist Church in Newnan.
A funeral will be Friday, March 10 at 1 p.m. at Zion Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. W. J. Johnson officiating, assisted by other ministers. Burial will be in Eastview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be great-grandsons.
Surviving are grandsons, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Smith of Newnan, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie W. Smith of Decatur, Mr. and Mrs. James W. Colton Jr. of Boston, MA and Mr. Charles Colton of Newnan; granddaughters, Mrs. Betty Booker and Mrs. Patricia Johnson of Newnan; twelve great-grandchildren, twenty great-great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
A granddaughter, Earnesteen Colton, preceded her in death.

Mrs. Celia Orzabal Walston
Mrs. Celia Orzabal Walston, 64, of Franklin, Ga. died Wednesday, March 8, 2000 at her residence after several years of declining health.
Mrs. Walston was born in Harris County, Texas, January 9, 1935, to the late Encarnacion Orzabal and Catarina Garza Orzabal. She was known and loved by many Heard County citizens as "Miss Celia." For many years she had her own home daycare and was a positive influence on all those she helped to raise. She was Catholic by faith.
A funeral will be Saturday, March 11 at noon at the Tom Stutts and Son Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin, Ga. Burial will be in the Harmony Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6-8 p.m.
Surviving are her children, Roger Trevino of Franklin, Ga., Derek and Carol Walston of LaGrange, Ga.; three grandchildren, Celia Davis of Lawrenceville, Ga., Jessica and Drew Walston of LaGrange; sister, Mary Buchanan of Bowdon, Ga.; three brothers, Johnny Orzabal of San Antonio, Texas, Raymond Orzabal of Ganado, Texas, and Lupe Orzabal of Phoenix, Arizona; two great-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews; a host of "adopted children."
