Tempie Turner Long, 90, of Brunswick, died Tuesday at Brian Center Inn on St. Simons Island.
The funeral will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Ron Stinson officiating. Burial will be in Palmetto Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Robert Manor Sr., Robert Manor Jr., Mike Cannon, Carl Cannon, Derek Rhodes and Troy Lindsey.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Faithful Disciples Sunday School Class of Calvary Baptist Church, the staff of Brian Center Inn and Bea McDonald.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Cheryl Finn and Joyce Manor, both of Brunswick; seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
A native of Wayne County, she had made her home in Brunswick for the past 75 years. She was associated with Brunswick Manufacturing for many years and was a homemaker. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Cheryl Finn and Joyce Manor, both of Brunswick; seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Alva Ribron Lee, 76, of Harriett's Bluff, died Thursday at her residence.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bickley Chapel Cemetery with the Rev. Chris Ogden officiating.
Surviving are a brother, Albert Ribron of Waverly, and several nieces and nephews.
A native of Coffee County, Mrs. Lee had lived in Camden County most of her life and was retired from Gilman Bag Plant. She was a member of the Woodbine Church of God.

Jerry Leslie Martin, 74, of Brunswick died peacefully August 26, 2005, at the Hospice of the Golden Isles, surrounded by his family.
A native of Kansas City, Kansas, Mr. Martin had made his home in Brunswick since 1963. He and his family formerly owned and operated Martin's Canine Motel.
Mr. Martin served 21 years in the United States Navy, retiring in 1971 as a Chief Petty Officer. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War, having served onboard the USS Enterprise as an aircraft mechanic and worked with airships when he was stationed in Lakehurst, N.J.
He had also been stationed at Glynco Naval Air Station. He was a Mason and was a member of the Fleet Reserve Association. Mr. Martin was most proud of his volunteer work at the Family History Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was also a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church.
Surviving are his wife, Norah Martin of Brunswick; his daughter and favorite son-in-law, Leslie and Kenneth Brantley of Brunswick; his son, Christopher Martin and precious granddaughter, Tara, both of Tampa, Fla.; his brother, John Martin of Hermiston, Ore.; his former daughter-in-law, Ellen Martin of Tampa, Fla.; his extended family, Belle Ray, the Brantley clan and many friends.
The funeral, with full military honors, will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the graveside, Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Milledgeville, Ga.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home.

Joan Sweeney-Fisk, 71, of Brunswick died Monday at her residence.
Mrs. Sweeney-Fisk, a native of Philadelphia, Pa., had lived in Brunswick since 1988. She had worked as a secretary for the Internal Revenue Service. Mrs. Sweeney-Fisk was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with the Rev. Wilfrid Logsdon presiding.
Burial will follow at Chapel Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Joe Fisk, Little Joe Fisk, Jimmy Rushing, John Cooner, Roger Keyser and Roger Keyser Jr.
Survivors include her husband, James Fisk of Brunswick; two daughters, Bonnie Horvath and Cheryl Grundy, both of Philadelphia; a son, James Sweeney of Philadelphia; two sisters, Elsie James of Cherry Hill, N.J., and Mariah Weeks of Kingsland; three stepchildren, Joe Fisk of Kingsland and Toni Fisk and Jimmie Lee St. James, both of Seattle, Wash.; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Hospice of the Golden Isles, 1692 Glynco Parkway, Brunswick, GA 31525.

Mrs. Foster was educated in the Glynn County school system and worked for the Southeast Georgia Health System for 28 years. After retiring from the local hospital, she worked as a private duty nurse.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Payne Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church with the Rev. Richard Hutchinson officiating.
Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Willie Fulton, Anthony Maldonado, Chester Hayes, James Fedd, Kenneth Cash, David Cash Jr., Carlton Cash and Ruben Shaw.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Southeast Georgia Health System security/police.
Mrs. Foster's body will be placed in the church one hour before the service.
The procession will leave from 2607 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
Survivors include sons, Gerald Foster of St. Marys and Dallas Foster of Brunswick; sisters, Hassie Russ and Idella Patterson, both of Fort Pierce, Fla.; brothers, Costell Morris of Tampa, Fla., and John Morris of Durham, N.C.; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and other relatives.
