Mickey Wilson, 80, of Brunswick died Tuesday at Southeast Georgia Health System.
Survivors include her husband, Homer Wilson of Brunswick; a son, Ronald M. Wilson and his wife, Suzann, of Brunswick; two sisters, Jo Fitzgerald and Lou Strickland, both of Jacksonville; a brother, Carl Smith of Brunswick; four grandchildren, Thomas Wilson, Elizabeth Carlson, Rebecca Easlic and Jennifer Rogers; three great-grandchildren, Emily Carlson, Sadie Easlic and Connor Rogers; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Advent Christian Church with the Rev. Earl Parrish officiating.
Burial will follow at Palmetto Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jim Strickland, Joe Fitzgerald, David Smith, Tracy Smith, Bill Nutgrass and Dr. James McLeod.
Honorary pallbearers will be Men of Advent Christian Church and Junior Liam.
The family will receive friends at the home of Ronald and Suzann Wilson, 528 Union Street, Wednesday from 6 until 8 p.m.
A native of Douglas, Ga., Mrs. Wilson was a graduate of Douglas High School and had lived in Brunswick since 1943. She was a member of Advent Christian Church. Mrs. Wilson was the owner of Victorian Place Antiques. She was a past member of the Junior Women's Club and several bridge clubs.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Benevolent Fund of Advent Christian Church.
Chapman Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Mary Ellen Miness, 75, of Kingsland died Friday at her residence.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church of Kingsland with the Revs. Vernon Dillingham and Earl Saxon officiating. Burial will be at 3 p.m. in Elim Cemetery in Ludowici.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Edo Miller Camden Chapel.
Surviving are two daughters, Henrietta Moore of Kingsland and Lucille Miness of Brunswick; two brothers, Kenneth Hall of Warner Robins and Malcolm Hall of Soperton; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Miness had been a resident of Camden County for the past 45 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Kingsland.

Jaime Perea, M.D., Psychiatrist, 76, of St. Simons Island died Tuesday at his residence.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Colombia, South America.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Golden Isles, 1692 Glynco Parkway, Brunswick, GA 31525 or the American Cancer Society.
Surviving are his wife, Susan Perea of St. Simons Island; two sons, Christopher Perea of Atlanta and Phillip Perea of St. Augustine, Fla.; and other family.

Willie Mae Murphy

Willie Mae Wilds Murphy, 93, of Brunswick died Aug. 19 at the local hospital.
Mrs. Murphy was a native of Marianna, Fla., and was retired from the clothing and fashion industry. She was a member of the First African Baptist Church of Brunswick.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church on St. Simons Island with the Revs. Franklin Graves and David Gittings officiating.
Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Garry Monroe, Frederick Green Jr., James D. Edenfield, George Drayton, Julius Simmons and Larry Johnson.
Mrs. Murphy's body will be placed in the church one hour before the service.
Survivors include her son, Jesse Flood of Baltimore; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a nephew.

Carley Zell

Carley Zell, 106, of Sea Island died Sunday, Feb. 26, 2006, at the Brunswick hospital of the Southeast Georgia Health System after a short illness.
Mr. Zell was a lifelong resident of Brunswick and Sea Island. He was the last surviving member of the Glynn Academy class of 1917 and served in the U.S. Navy during World War I as an apprentice seaman.
Mr. Zell was very active in business until a few years ago. He owned and operated over 500,000 square feet of warehouses in Jacksonville, owned various real estate in Glynn County, and operated a general insurance business. He was a member of the Young Men's Club, the Brunswick Golden Isles Chamber of Commerce, the Elks Club, the Brunswick Country Club and was the oldest active Kiwanis member in the United States. Mr. Zell was a life member of Temple Beth Tefilloh.
Mr. Zell was preceded in death by his parents, Abraham and Millie Zelmenovitz as well as three brothers and two sisters. He was married to Anne Braw Zell for 47 years, until her death in 1973.
Surviving are four sons, Gerald A. Zell of Brunswick, Donald D. Zell (Peggy) of Jacksonville, Harold E. Zell (Lucy) of St. Simons Island and Royald A. Zell (Dale) of Tampa, Fla.; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two nephews, Raymond Baumel and Robert Zell, both of Brunswick.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Palmetto Cemetery with Rabbi Michael Matuson officiating.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home in Brunswick.
Memorial contributions may be made to Temple Beth Tefilloh, Coastal Georgia Community College or Florida Community College of Jacksonville.

Michael Leslie "Mike" Boynton, 49, of St. Simons Island died Wednesday at the Brunswick hospital of Southeast Georgia Health System.
A native of St. Simons Island, Mr. Boynton was a 1975 graduate of Glynn Academy and served in the U.S. Army. Most recently, he was a mechanic for Altama Equipment Rental and was formerly associated with West Building Supply, Island Automotive and Critz Mercedes in Savannah. Mr. Boynton attended Glynn Haven Baptist Church.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Fla., with Jimmy Hannah officiating.
Honorary pallbearers will be Troy Taylor, Jerry Wise, Jimmy Hannah, James Williams, Holly Noble, Diana Freeman, Cindy Powell, Wayne Vann, Steve Horton, John Tussey, Dee Frederick, Ronnie Lemon, Jeremy Lewis, Adarryll Smart, Collin White, Chester Taylor Jr., Billy Justice, Carl James, Louise Batten, Robert Dunn, Melvin Johnson, Talmadge Hardy, Buford Baker, Scott Reynolds, Gilbert Erwin, Buddy Harris and Cindy Ammons.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home, with a prayer service at 8 p.m.
Surviving is his mother, Gladys Boynton of Brunswick.

Christopher Chance "Chris" Plunkett, 20, of Haslett, Mich. died Saturday, April 15, 2006, as a result of a motorcycle accident.
Born December 17, 1985, in Lansing, Mich., Chris was a wonderful young man who lived life to the fullest. He was truly a blessing to his family and friends, had a heart of gold and would do anything for anybody. Chris always brought a smile to your face. A 2004 graduate of Holt High School, he loved drawing and was an excellent draftsman. Chris loved four-wheeling and riding his motorcycle.
He is survived by his parents, Sally Helvenston (Ian) Gray of Haslett, Mich., and Dan W. (Evelyn) Plunkett of Palm Coast, Fla.; aunts, Alexandra (Mike) Kuykendall of Jacksonville, Fla., Carolyn Hatcher (Frank Deim) of Wilmington, N.C., and Barbara (Larry) Johns of Hortense, Ga.; and grandmother, Audrey Helvenston of Jacksonville, Fla.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Juanita Goldman.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Oglethorpe Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Earl Parrish officiating.

Margie LaVern Johnson, 53, of Brunswick died Sunday at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville.
Ms. Johnson was a native of Fernandina, Fla. She was a retired security guard. Ms. Johnson was a member of Rehoboth Church of God in Christ, the NAACP and the Elks.
The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at New Zion Baptist Church in Fernandina with the Rev. Bernard L. Thompson officiating.
Interment will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery in Eulonia.
Pallbearers will be members of the Elks Lodge.
Ms. Johnson's body will be placed in the church one hour before the service.
Survivors include her mother, Willie Mae Johnson of Brunswick; a son, Montavious D. Johnson; a daughter Marquesa R. Johnson; three sisters, Inez Majors of Louisville, Ky., and Sadie Bryan and Ella Clark, both of Fernandina; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

John Paseur Sr.

John F. Paseur Sr., age 69, of Owens Cross Roads, Ala., died Friday, April 21, 2006, at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, Ala.
Mr. Paseur was a graduate of New Hope High School. Monday evening, he will be inducted into the Huntsville-Madison County Hall of Fame and will be recognized for his many basketball and baseball accomplishments while at New Hope High School.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Anita Lynette Paseur, and his parents, George and Grace Maples Paseur.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Jean Smith Paseur; two sons, John F. Paseur Jr. and VerDon Keith Paseur and his wife Lynn, all of Brunswick; two grandchildren, Adam Paseur and Caity Paseur; two sisters, Glenda Patterson and Betty Brown of Owens Cross Roads; and a brother, George Paseur Jr. of Albuquerque, N.M.
Arrangements are being handled by New Hope Funeral Home in New Hope, Ala.
A memorial service will be held at Owens Cross Roads Church of Christ at 11 a.m. Monday, April 24, 2006.
