Johnathan Matthew Credle, 34, of Brunswick died Saturday at the Brunswick hospital of the Southeast Georgia Health System.
A lifelong resident of Glynn County, Mr. Credle was a 1988 high school graduate and a member of the Central Baptist Church. He was an Atlanta Braves fan and loved country music and wrestling.
Survivors include his parents, Larry and Betty Credle of Brunswick; sister, Megan Credle, and brother, Clifford Credle, both of Brunswick; aunts Alice Wiggins of Brunswick, Starlon Credle of Bath, N.C.; uncles, Curtis Credle of Orlando, Fla., and H.L. Credle of Brunswick.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Triffie Credle.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday from Chapman Funeral Chapel with Revs. Darrell Joiner, Jimmy Byers and Dean Fulford officiating.
Visitation will be held from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Paul Funeral Home in Belhaven, N.C.
Interment will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Ryder Hill Cemetery in Bath, N.C.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Adam Lewis, Dr. Malcom Wright, Dr. David Lawson, Sharon Carter and South Central Staff of the Southeast Georgia Health System and the staff of the Medical College of Georgia.
The family requests that memorial donations be made to the Spinal Bifada Association of Georgia.

James Sterling Martin, 41, of Lumberton, N.C., died Monday, June 26, 2006, after being hit by a train.
He was a native of West Palm Beach, Fla., and had been a resident of Lumberton, N.C., for 20 years.
He was predeceased by his mother, Carol B. Martin and is survived locally by a sister, Sherrie Gates; brother-in-law, Dari Gates; niece, Nikki Warden; and nephew, Tony Rodriguez.
Memorial services will be at a later date.

Edna Smith Holland, a retired nurse with the Dodge County Health Department, died Tuesday at Sears Manor Nursing Home in Brunswick.
A native of Dodge County and the daughter of the late William Smith and Lula Kennington Smith, she had lived in Glynn County for the past 14 years. She was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of Pleasant Hill Primitive Baptist Church. She was the wife of the late Jessie W. Holland.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the graveside in Plainfield Cemetery, Dodge County, with elders Willie Hatfield and Marty Hoskins officiating.
Survivors include a daughter, Catherine Holland of Brunswick; three nieces and one nephew.

Albert Boldak, 85, of St. Marys died Thursday at the Camden County campus of the Southeast Georgia Health System.
A native of Long Island, N.Y., he had resided in Camden County for the past two years. Mr. Boldak was a retired boat builder and designer and raced boats for many years. He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army. Mr. Boldak was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Boldak.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Survivors include his daughters, Joan Tuliszewski of Davie, Fla., and Roxana Borderkircher of St. Marys; a brother, David Boldak of Asheville, N.C.; a sister, Lillian Henderson of Long Island; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Myron Rowe of Brunswick died Aug. 12 in Biloxi, Miss.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Zion Baptist Church with the Revs. Michael V. Norris and Alfred Jackson officiating.

Isaac Pinkney of Eulonia died Tuesday at the Brunswick hospital of the Southeast Georgia Health System.
Born and educated in McIntosh County, he was a retired commercial fisherman.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Darien Funeral Home with the Rev. E.L. Stevens officiating.
Interment will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery.

Emily Rutland Pinkney, 83, of Brunswick died July 6 at the Brunswick hospital of the Southeast Georgia Health System.
A native of Monroe County, she was a retired worker for the Glynn County Board of Education and had also worked in food services. She was a member of the Fisher's of Men World Harvest Church and served the church as an usher.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday from the Fisher's of Men World Harvest Church, 905 K St., Brunswick with the Rev. Alfred Jackson officiating.
Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be friends of the Pinkney family.
Survivors include her three sons, Frank Rutland of Macon and Ralph Johnson and Johnny Pinkney, both of Brunswick; two daughters, Sarah P. Johnson of Cleveland, Ohio, and Virginia (Jennie Mae) Stephens of Brunswick; three brothers, James Rutland of Lexington, Ky., and John Lee Rutland and George Rutland, both of Macon; three sisters, Mary Murphy of Macon, and Clara Daniely and Cecelia Barber, both of Cleveland; 30 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Nell Sconyers Suratt of Atlanta and St. Simons Island died Tuesday, April 18. She was 101 years old. She lived at Heritage/Magnolia Manor the past seven years in independent living. Born in Brewton, Ga., she was a graduate of The Augusta Medical College where she received a degree in Registered Nursing.
She believed her longevity was due to positive thinking, her strong faith in God and Centrum vitamins.
Mrs. Suratt is survived by her two sons, Barney S. Suratt of Palm Harbor, Fla. , and R. Sam Suratt of North Palm Beach, Fla.
While residing in Atlanta for 55 years, she was a homemaker, member of the Ansley Park Garden Club and taught Sunday School for 20 years at Rock Springs Presbyterian Church.
Interment will be next to her husband at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the St. Simons Presbyterian Church.

Wilmer Mayfield, 70, of St. Marys died Friday at Hospice of the Golden Isles.
A native of Louisiana, he had lived in Camden County for the past 66 years and was a retired truck driver. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during the Korean Conflict, and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Homerville.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Allison Memorial Chapel in St. Marys with burial to follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

A native of Salisbury, Md., he had resided in Camden County for the past 14 years.
Moore was retired from the U.S. Navy with 23 years of service and served during the Vietnam War. He had also worked in the naval shipyard for 18 years, and loved working with small engines and was an avid golfer.
Memorial services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Allison Memorial Chapel in St. Marys.
Survivors include his wife, Michiko Moore of Harriett's Bluff; three daughters, Suzanne Moore of Orlando, Fla., Alissa Portenier of Raleigh, N.C., and Pamela Herzig of Honolulu, Hawaii; sister, Patricia Frank of Elkton, Md.; and seven grandchildren.

William Hannon

William Murray Hannon, 86, of Sea Island, Georgia, and formerly of Nashville, Tennessee, died Saturday, September 24, 2005, after a long illness.
Born May 13, 1919, in Detroit, Michigan, he was the son of the late C. W. Hannon and Nora Murray Hannon. He grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, where he graduated from University School. He attended the University of Notre Dame before entering the United States Army during World War II.
After the Army, he joined the Murray Ohio Manufacturing Company, a New York Stock Exchange company started by his father. In the mid-1950s, he and his father made the decision to move the company to Tennessee with the plant in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, and the headquarters in Nashville, Tennessee. In Lawrenceburg, he met and married, in 1957, Jane Carol Powell. At the time of his retirement, he served as Chairman of the Board of Murray. While in Tennessee, he was active in many civic, charitable and religious concerns, including serving on the boards of Vanderbilt University, Montgomery Bell Academy, Third National Bank and Cumberland Heights as well as being a communicant of St. Henry's Roman Catholic Church.
After his retirement, he moved to his home on Sea Island, continuing an active membership at St. William's Roman Catholic Church. He also remained active in civic and charitable affairs, including serving on the Economic Development Authority of Glynn County and fund raising for the American Cancer Society. An avid and enthusiastic golfer all his life, he was a member of numerous clubs. While in Cleveland, he was club champion at the Pepper Pike Club. On Sea Island, he was a proud member of Ocean Forest Golf Club.
Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Jane Carol Hannon, their five sons, five incredible daughters-in-law and 13 blessed grandchildren: Tom and Nell Ann Hannon (Will, Janie, Christian Carpenter and Caleb Carpenter) of Nashville, Tennessee; John and Carolyn Hannon (Avery) of Nashville, Tennessee; Dan and Laura Hannon (Michael and Kristin) of Houston, Texas; Chris and Jenny Hannon (Mary Kate, Halina, Caroline and Megan) of Nashville, Tennessee; and Bob and Lloyd Hannon (Murray and Ivey) of Nashville, Tennessee.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a. m. Tuesday in St. William's Roman Catholic Church of St. Simons Island with Father John Kenneally presiding.
The family will receive friends at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday and suggests, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to American Cancer Society, 3011 Hampton Avenue, Brunswick, GA 31520 or Hospice of the Golden Isles, 1692 Glynco Parkway, Brunswick, GA 31525.
