She was a 1963 graduate of Douglass High School and a retired paraprofessional at Harper Elementary School. Mrs. Tillman was a member of Providence M.B. Mr. Tucker died Jan. 2 at his residence. Born Jan. 10, 1923, in Colquitt County, he was a son of the late Vera Page Tucker and William Raiford Tucker. He was a graduate of Moultrie High School and served in U.S. Army in Korea. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and a member of Colquitt County Sports Hall of Fame. He was retired from the Department of Agriculture in the food stamp department. Survivors include son, Douglas L. Norwood Clark who preceded her in death on Oct. 1, 1998. She was a homemaker and member of First United Methodist in Cairo. She was Cairo/Grady County Chamber of Commerce Woman of the Year in 1989. She will be remembered as supervisor of the Cairo school system lunchroom for many years and as a supply teacher. Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, J. Paul Parker and the late Maude Shiver Parker. She was born March 4, 1919, in Mitchell County and married her husband of 58 years, Edward Keadle, on March 16, 1947. She was a charter member of Dawson Street Baptist Church.
