Henry "Hank" Hammond Blanchard, Jr. of Waynesboro, 59, entered into rest on Saturday, June 3, 2006, at his residence.
Mr. Blanchard was born in Louisville, Georgia, on Oct. 31, 1946 to the late Hammond and Mary Miller Blanchard.
Funeral services were held on Monday, June 5, 2006, at 1 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Waynesboro with the Rev. Wayne Dixon and the Rev. Marshall Singletary officiating.
He was a resident of Waynesboro all of his life and was a member of Rosemont Heights Baptist Church, a graduate of the University of Georgia, a member of the Waynesboro Country Club, a director of First National Bank, and served in the Georgia Army National Guard.
Pallbearers were Roy Jenkins, Joe Daniel, Clifford Lewis, Dr. Larry Jackson, Stephen Murray, Bill Mobley, Tommy Rowland, and Larry Askew. Honorary pallbearers were officers and directors of First National Bank. Interment followed at Burke FUNERAL HOMES WAYNESBORO Memorial Gardens.
The family received friends on Sunday, June 4, from 6-8 p.m. at DeLoach-Kennedy Funeral Home in Waynesboro, GA.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Nancy Stewart Blanchard; his daughters, Melinda Prescott (Jody) and Denise Meeks (Brent), all of Waynesboro; a son, Henry Blanchard, III of Marietta; a sister, Jane Blanchard Stewart of Waynesboro; a brother, Phillip Blanchard of Waynesboro; and six grandchildren, Robert, Sid, Jackie, and Gracie Prescott, and Daniel and Andrew Meeks, all of Waynesboro.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances/ memorials may be made to the church of choice or Edmund Burke Academy Building Fund.

Mrs. Helen G. Hunter of Waynesboro, 75, entered into rest on Saturday, June 3, 2006, at Keysville Nursing Home.

Margie L. DeRobertis, 89, passed away May 31, 2006 in Savannah.
Visitation was held 10-11 a.m. Saturday, June 3, at Hubert C. Baker Funeral Home with funeral services immediately following.
Burial was held at 2:30 p.m. at Corinth Christian Church in Girard.
DeRobertis was born on March 7, 1917 in Girard. She was preceded in death by her parents, Franklin and Tommie (Meade) Lovett; sons, Robert Franklin DeRobertis, Richard Phillip DeRobertis and Donald
Michael DeRobertis; and sisters, Hazel Echols and Dorothy Lewis.
She is survived by a son, Samuel DeRobertis and his wife, Pat, of San Antonio, Texas; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; eight nephews; and two nieces.

Mrs. Marjorie Pierce Mallard, 97, entered into rest on Friday, June 2, 2006, at her residence.

Mr. Guy I. McLamb, 66, of Millen died Monday, May 29, at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro.
Funeral services were held 11 a.m. Friday, June 2, at Thompson Strickland-Waters Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Stan Tyson and Billy Carroll officiating.
Burial was in the Millen Cemetery.
Mr. McLamb, a Liberty County native, served in the National Guard, was a member of the Millen and Pembroke Lions Clubs, the Millen Church of God and was a licensed funeral director and embalmer.
Survivors include his wife, Jean Woods McLamb of Millen; daughters and son-in-law, Twana M. and Ben Hays of St. Helena, S.C., and Dee Dee McLamb of Millen; sons and daughter-inlaw, Guy I. McLamb and Raymond and Grace McLamb of Millen; four sisters; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home of Sylvania was in charge of all arrangements.

Mrs. Mary Grace McNorrill

Mary Grace McNorrill, 93, of Waynesboro entered into rest Thursday, Aug. 31, 2006 at Medical College of Georgia in Augusta.
Graveside services were held 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 5, at Botsford Baptist Church with Dr. Lynda D. Sims officiating.
Interment followed at the church cemetery.
Mrs. McNorrill was born in Burke County on May 13, 1913 to the late James T. and Laura Martin McNorrill. She had lived in this area all of her life.
She was a member of Botsford Baptist Church of Waynesboro, a graduate of Georgia Teachers
College in Statesboro and a medical receptionist for Dr. J.M. Byne for many years.
She is survived by many family and friends.
