Mrs. Brown was bornOctober 26, 1927, in Homer. She was a daughter of the late Ed and Tonni Whitlock Parsons.
Mrs. Brown was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Brown.
Funeral services were held Monday, October 23, in the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, with the Rev. Curtis Green officiating. Burial was in Grey Hill Cemetery, Commerce.
Mrs. Brown is survived by one son, Henry Brown, Commerce; one sister, Mildred Parsons, Commerce; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

MRS. O'KELLEY

COMMERCE - Mrs. Irene Hartley O'Kelley, 87, diedThursday, October 19, 2000, at BJC Medical Center, Commerce.
Mrs. O'Kelley was bornJanuary 16, 1913, in Jackson County. She was a daughter of W.D. "Bud" Hartley and the late Annie Bryan Hartley.
Mrs. O'Kelley was a retired supervisor with Commerce Sportswear and was of the Baptist denomination. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alton O'Kelley.
Graveside services were held Sunday, October 22, in Jackson Memorial Gardens, Commerce, with the Rev. Bill Manus officiating.
Survivors include two sons, Donald E. O'Kelley, Homer, and Mike O'Kelley, Hoschton; one daughter, Patricia Roper, Jackson, Miss.; two sisters, Hortence Felker, Jacksonville, Fla., and Bernice Scott, Commerce; one grandchild and one great-grandchild.

Mrs. Carr was bornFebruary 20, 1919, in Bonifay County, Fla. She was a daughter of the late Frank and Meddie Capps Williams.
Mrs. Carr was a homemaker and of the Baptist denomination.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, October 25, in the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, with the Rev. Kent Cranford officiating. Burial was in Jackson Memorial Gardens, Commerce.
Survivors include five sons, Billy Carr, Milton, Fla., Bobby Ray Carr, Port Smith, Va., Daniel Carr and Joseph Carr, both of Pensacola, Fla., and Frank Carr, Deer Park, Texas; two daughters, Annette Potter, Commerce, and Loleeta Smith, Pensacola, Fla.; two brothers, Chancey Williams, Roopville, and Porter Williams, Pensacola, Fla.; one sister, Lois Hilstrom, Williamsburg, Va.; 17 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Mr. Gresham was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, having served from 1952 to 1956.
Graveside services were held Wednesday, October 25, in the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery, Lula, with the Revs. Ralph Smith and J.L. White officiating.
Mr. Gresham is survived by his wife, Sandra Gresham; one daughter, Lisa Buxton, Marietta; one son, Mark Gresham, Marietta; three sisters, June Pappalardo, Decatur, and Mary Underwood and Susan Williamson, both of Rome; two brothers, Robin Gresham and David Gresham, both of Rome; and grandchildren, Ashley, Heather, Chad and Matthew.

Quinton Beusse
Jesse Quinton Beusse, 69, of Danielsville, diedThursday, October 12, 2000.
A native of Madison County, Mr. Beusse was a son of the late Jesse Hoyt and Myrtie Bates Beusse.
He was retired from the University of Georgia Bookstore and was a farmer. Mr. Beusse was a member of Danielsville Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held Saturday, October 14, in the chapel of Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, Danielsville, with the Rev. Martin T. Coile officiating. Burial was in the Danielsville Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, JoAnn James Beusse; sons and daughters-in-law, Terry and Tommie Beusse, Danielsville, and Clark and Edie Beusse, Dawsonville; daughter and son-in-law, April and Stephen Brown, Danielsville; seven grandchildren, Thomas and Tyler Beusse, and Seth, Iris and JoAnna Brown, all of Danielsville, and Charles and Emily Beusse, Dawsonville.

Kenneth H. Barnette
Kenneth H. Barnette, 65, of Comer, diedWednesday, October 11, 2000.
A native of Madison County, Mr. Barnette was a son of the late Will D. and Docia Lord Barnette.
He was a graduate of Florida State University and was employed with Transco for 32 years. Mr. Barnette was a member of Meadow Baptist Church and had recently attended Vineyards Creek Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Hazel Payne, Smyrna, and Margaret Power, Comer.
Funeral services were held Friday, October 13, in the chapel of Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, Danielsville, with the Revs. Tom Dial and Billy Meeks officiating. Burial was in the Meadow Baptist Church cemetery.
Mr. Barnette is survived by his wife, Fredda P. Barnette; two daughters, Elizabeth "Betsy" Barnette and Margaret Lindsey Barnette, both of Comer; one son, Charles "Chip" Gray, Comer; two brothers, W.E. Barnette, Marietta, and John Barnette, Cornelia; two nephews, Phillip Power and Neal Power, both of Comer; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Love had been employed with Perfumania as a sales clerk.
Funeral services were held Thursday, October 12, at Christian Life Worship Center with the Revs. John W. Ingram and Hugh Morgan officiating. Burial was in Jackson Memorial Gardens, Commerce.
Survivors, in addition to her mother, include her husband, James Love; two sons, Jimmy Love, Watkinsville, and Johnny Love, Hull; three sisters, Debbie Myers and Ann Jackson, both of Commerce, and Judy Kesler, Nicholson; one sister, Norine Evans, Commerce; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Miss Walker was a homemaker and a member of Madison Street Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held Friday, October 13, in the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, with the Revs. David Harbin and Troy Herbert officiating. Burial was in the Murray Estes Family Cemetery, Nicholson.

Alan Wayne Trammell II, 24, of Jefferson, diedFriday, October 13, 2000, following a sudden illness.
Mr. Trammell was bornMay 17, 1976, in Hall County. He was a son of Wayne and Judy Porter Trammell, Jefferson.
Mr. Trammell was a poultry farmer.
Funeral services were held Monday, October 16, at Bethany United Methodist Church with the Revs. Hulon Hill and James Dumas officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
