Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 15, in the chapel of Brown Funeral Home, Danielsville, with the Rev. Fredrick Henry Sunley officiating.
Mr. Gotts is survived by his father, Terrance Gotts; his mother and step-father, Shirley Rutherford Sunley and Charles Sunley; two sisters, Alice Colquitt, Comer, and Shelly Cooper, Forsyth; one brother, Carl F. Gotts, Hartwell; and two step-brothers, Charles G. Sunley and the Rev. Fredrick Henry Sunley, both of Banks County.

Mrs. Mildred Gunnells Webb, 82, of Atlanta, diedFriday, August 10, 2001.
A native of Madison County, Mrs. Webb was a daughter of the late George Euel and Irene Epps Gunnells.
She had worked as a hotel manager and as a receptionist for Stiles Hotel Chains of Athens. Mrs. Webb was a member of Tucker First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Davis Webb Sr.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Saturday, August 11, in the chapel of Brown Funeral Home, Danielsville, with the Rev. Malcolm Gunnells officiating. Burial was in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church cemetery.
Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, John and Barbara Webb Jr., Tucker; sister-in-law, Hazel Gunnells, Lakeland, Fla.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Troy and Jean Gunnells, ElCajon, Calif., Malcolm and Gwen Gunnells, Gainesville, and Walter and Sue Gunnells and Bobby and Arlene Gunnells, all of Comer; grandchildren, Trey and Kimberly Webb and Otis Webb; and several nieces and nephews.

Allen B. Morgan
Allen Bond Morgan, 76, of Commerce, diedTuesday, August 7, 2001, at his residence.
A native of Franklin County, Mr. Morgan was the son of the late Dallas and Addie Presley Morgan.
He was retired from the City of Commerce Public Works Department and was a member of Bold Spring United Methodist Church and the Bold Spring Men's Club. Mr. Morgan was preceded in death by his first wife, Annie Bell Morgan, and two brothers, Hutcherson and James Morgan.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Thursday, August 9, at Bold Spring United Methodist Church with the Revs. Ed Cook and Stephen Horn officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

A son of the late Ernest and Ina Morgan Fowler, Mr. Fowler was retired from Peachtree Trane where he was employed in the heat and air business. He was a member of Living Waters Church, Douglasville.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 8, in Smith Memory Chapel of Smith Funeral Home, Winder, with Pastor Bill Reed officiating. Burial was in Barrow Memorial Gardens. Brandon Fowler, Brian Fowler, Frank Davis, Tommy Fowler, Joey Fowler and Gary Fowler served as pallbearers.
Survivors include his wife, Cora Fowler, Cumming; sons, Billy Earl Fowler, Stone Mountain, Donald Christopher Fowler, Danielsville, Roy Lee Fowler, Douglasville, James Fred Fowler and Gregory A. A native of Clarke County, Mr. Gordon was a son of the late John Howell Gordon and Katie Riley Gordon.
He was a member of Attica Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 15, at Bernstein Funeral Home, Athens, with the Rev. Robert E.H. Wagnon officiating.
Survivors include two daughters, Melissa Snailum and Mary Beth Gordon, both of Athens; two sons, John Corey Gordon and Christopher Gordon, both of Athens; one sister, Mary Gordon Myrick, Bogart; two brothers, Billy Bittle, Athens, and Steven Gordon, Colbert; and three grandchildren.

Janie Morrison
Mrs. Janie Morrison, 60, of Comer, diedFriday, November 2, 2001, of an extended illness.
A native of Jackson County, Mrs. Morrison was the daughter of the late Texas and Evelyn Silman Hargrave.
She was a disabled, retired registered nurse. Mrs. Morrison was preceded in death by a daughter, Alicia R. Morrison.
Hospice chaplain Mike Mims conducted graveside services at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 4, in the Wesley Chapel Community Church cemetery. Mrs. Morrison's primary care nurse, Karen Gordon, gave the eulogy. iIntermentbeside her daughter followed.
Mrs. Morrison is survived by an uncle and aunt, Clarence and Grace Silman, Augusta; aunt, Bertha Silman, South Carolina; son, Leo Pete Morrison Jr., and his wife, Michelle, and their son, Jordan, Comer; and a stepson and family, Hanahan, S.C. She is also survived by many close friends, including the Annie Lee Beck family and the Kerry and Lisa Hill family. Lisa was her loving caregiver for the last few months.

Mrs. Turbeville was bornin Athens. She was a graduate of Madison County High School and was a Dean's List student at Truett McConnell College. Mrs. Turbeville was a homemaker and attended Hull Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, November 8, in the chapel of Bernstein Funeral Home, Athens, with Dr. Bill Ross and the Rev. Randy Crowe officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery. Danny Erwin, Jason Moon, Steve Bates, Kenny Gibbs, Bill Jervis and Ty McKissick will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Turbeville is survived by her husband, Steven Turbeville, Crawford; one daughter, Kayla Ellen Gryder, Crawford; one son, Mitchell Hunter Turbeville, Crawford; her mother, Joan Ellen Petty, Crawford; her father and step-mother, Terry and Vicky Adair, Hull; one brother, Cory Adair, Hull; her grandparents, Clark and Del Wade, Winterville, and George and Margaret Adair, Hull; and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Born in Bartow County, Mrs. Thomas was a daughter of the late Leonard and Betty Hale Giddeons.
She was a homemaker and was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith. Mrs. Thomas was preceded in death by a son, William B. Shelton Jr.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, November 8, at Oak Hill Baptist Church with the Revs. Gary Veile and Terry Hale officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will be placed in the church from noon until 3 p.m.

Mrs. Boswell was bornin LaFrance, S.C., a daughter of the late Clifford and Quida Ramsey Pitts.
She was a homemaker and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Commerce. Mrs. Boswell was preceded in death by a daughter, Sheila Jewell.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 10, in the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, with the Rev. Donald Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Jackson Memorial Gardens, Commerce.

James A. Gilreath
James Alvin Gilreath, a resident of Pocataligo, Madison County, for most of his life, diedMonday, October 29, 2001.
Mr. Gilreath was bornFebruary 17, 1930, in Cleveland, White County. He was the son of the late Andy B. and Ruth Davis Gilreath.
Mr. Gilreath served in the U.S. Navy and was a retired steel worker for several years with American Monorail in Georgia, Tennessee and the Carolinas. He was of the Holiness denomination.
Mr. Gilreath was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Gilreath, an infant grandson and a brother, Johnny R. Gilreath.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 31, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home, Cleveland, Tenn., with the Rev. Raymond Duncan officiating. Music was presented by Helen Doffee and Doyle Mayton. Burial was in Hamilton Memorial Gardens, Chattanooga, Tenn.
