Funeral services for Mr. Gregory Alan Creamer, 47, of Fallin Road will be held Saturday, Aug. 21, 2004 at 11 a.m. in Mountain View Baptist Church, Dr. Rex King and Rev. James Coogler officiating. Burial will follow in Crystal Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Creamer died Thursday, Aug. 19, 2004 at Upson Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Creamer was a native of Upson County, born Aug. 30, 1956 to the late Henry Creamer and Mrs. Helen Moore Creamer Dix. He worked at B.F. Goodrich Mills for many years and was retired on disability. Mr. Creamer was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Sherry Ann Creamer of Thomaston; three sons, Mr. Brandon Creamer, Mr. Jason Creamer and Mr. Nathan Creamer, all of Thomaston; his mother, Mrs. Helen Creamer Dix of Thomaston; a half-sister, Ms. Carol Lee of Thomaston and one grandchild, Miss Tessa Lavoie of Orlando, Fla.

Alma Hawkes Harper
Graveside services for Mrs. Alma Hawkes Harper, 92, of Atlanta will be held Saturday, Nov. 13, 2004, at 2 p.m., in Upson Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Harper died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2004, at Southern Regional Medical Center in Riverdale.

Mrs. Harper was a former resident of Thomaston. She was the daughter of Abe and Amanda Ingram Hawkes. She was a member of the Conley Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Sadie Harper of Atlanta; a grandson, Steve (Jessica) Harper of Atlanta and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Saturday from 1 until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mary Searcy Hodo
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Searcy Hodo, of the Potato Creek Heights Community, will be held Monday, Nov. 15, 2004, at 1 p.m., from Shady Grove Baptist Church, with Pastor Fred Blackmon officiating. Burial will follow in South View Cemtery.
Mrs. Hodo died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2004, at Upson Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Hodo is survived by her husband, Rev. R.L. Hodo; two children, Sylvia Annn Hodo and Roderick Lee Hodo; her mother, Frances Searcy; mother-in-law, Trudie Hodo, all of Thomaston; sisters and brother, Martha Searcy and Charlie Edward Searcy of Thomaston, Josephine (William) Kindell of Cleveland; brother and sisters-in-law, Martha Hodo of Atlanta, Tinye Jackson and Rosie (Reuben) Holston of Thomaston; and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her.
James Arthur "Jimmy" Clifton
A memorial service for Mr. James Arthur "Jimmy" Clifton, 53, of Firetower Road, will be held Sunday, Jan. 16, 2005, at 6 p.m., at The Rock United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Mark Burgess officiating.
Mr. Clifton died Saturday, Jan. 8, 2005, at Upson Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Clifton was born April 24, 1951, in Valley County, Montana. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps and worked as an auto mechanic. Mr. Clifton was a member of The Rock United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Sylvester and Mrs. Wilma Thomas Clifton; two sisters, Mrs. Faye Furroughs and Ms. Mary Clifton and one brother, Mr. Barney Clifton.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Dixie Lee Miller (Clifton) of Thomaston; a daughter, Ms. Tracy Lollar of Thomaston; a son, Mr. Michael Dukeman of Orlando, Fla.; four brothers, Mr. Roy (Marie) Clifton and Mr. Clinton (Pat) Clifton of Montana, Mr. Clayton Clifton of Jerome, Idaho and Mr. Russell (Marie) Burroughs of Spokane, Wash.; four sisters, Mrs. Toots Imel of Montana, Mrs. Helen Cupp of Mo., Mrs. Vonda Dippel of Jerome, Idaho and Ms. Patricia Burroughs of Spokane, Wash. and one grandson, Mr. Tyler Rossing of Thomaston.
Gregory Clark Acey
Mr. Gregory Clark Acey, affectionately known as "Dex", 43, died Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2003 at his residence.

Jewell B. Boyt
Funeral services for Mrs. Jewell B. Boyt, 89, of Yatesville, will be held Friday, Feb. 7, 2003 at 3 p.m. in the Pasley-Fletcher Chapel with Elder Ed Evans and the Rev. Eddie Mathews officiating. Burial will follow in the New Hope Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Boyt died Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2003 at her residence.

Mrs. Boyt was a lifelong resident of Upson County. She retired from the sewing room of Thomaston Mills in 1973.

Lucy Mahone
Funeral services for Ms. Lucy Mahone, 67, formally of Woodbury, were held Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2003 at 1 p.m. from the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Woodbury with Rev. J.D. Walker officiating. Burial followed in the Walker Cemetery in Woodbury.
Ms. Mahone died Saturday, Feb. 1, 2003 at her residence.

Leola Thompson Oliver

Mrs. Oliver died Friday, Jan. 31, 2003 at Riverside Nursing Center.

Mrs. Oliver was a native of Dodge County, Ga. and a resident of Upson County for most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of The Rock Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, Mr. James (Jimmy) E. Oliver of Stockbridge; sisters, Mrs. Marjorie T. Henry of Headland, Ala. and Mrs. Marlene T. Peugh of Thomasotn; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Naomi Salter Goode
Graveside services for Mrs. Naomi Salter Goode, 91, of Burkett Road, were held Monday, Feb. 3, 2003 at 2 p.m. in the Antioch Methodist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Goode died Saturday, Feb. 1, 2003 at Providence Health Care.

Mrs. Goode was a native of Upson County. She was retired from Thomaston Mills where she worked for over 20 years as a sewing machine operator. She was a member of Valley Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Goode was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. J. Bayne Goode of Thomaston.
Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Betty Weaver of Thomaston; brother, Mr. Billie Salter of Thomaston; sister, Mrs. Eloise Glossen of Miami, Fla.; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
