Regina Lynne Means, 40, of Hull, diedMonday, November 22, 2004.
She was preceded in death by Marvin Webb.
Survivors include her husband, Scott M. Means; son and daughter-in-law, James E. and Deidre Simental; daughter and son-in-law, Amy L. and Brian Donnelly; daughter and friend, Tammy R. Donnelly and Danielle Caufield; step-son, Matthew Means; mother and step-father, Mary and Jack Hogan; brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Patricia Webb; sister, Melissa K. Hicks; eight nieces; six nephews; two great-nephews; and grandchild, Jeremy Colley.
Funeral services were held Saturday, November 27, at the Memorial Park South Chapel with Pastor Gary Osteen officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park South cemetery.
Memorial Park South Funeral Home, Flowery Branch, was in charge of arrangements.

Nancy Bauer
Nancy Ann Bauer, 61, of Commerce, diedSunday, November 21, 2004, at North-east Georgia Me-dical Center in Gainesville following an exten-ded illness.
Survivors include two sisters, Mary Joan Biederman, Chicago, Ill. and Joyce Garrett, Commerce.
Funeral services were held Friday, November 26, in the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeff Appling officiating. Entombment will be at a later date in Cicero, Illinois.
Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, was in charge of arrangements.

Peggy Henley
Peggy S. Henley, 69, of Danielsville, diedThursday, November 25, 2004.
A native of Franklin County, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Read and Adger Cole Spears. She was a retired bank teller from Bank of Danielsville and was a member of Mt. Hermon Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Henley was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Henley and a brother, Charles M. Spears.
Survivors include two brothers-in-law, Joseph F. Henley and Kenneth L. Sewell; sister, Mary Jo Sewell; sister-in-law, Marie L. Spears; several nieces and nephews; and close friends, Janet Crowe and Patsy Segars.
Funeral services were held Sunday, November 28, in the chapel of Brown Funeral Home with the Revs. Thomas Dial and Jeremy Diggins officiating. Pallbearers were Shane Spears, Tyson Culberson, Matt Beatenbo, Dean Crowe, Steven Henley, Larry Isbell, Charles Tempel, George Strickland and Kenneth Poss.
Memorials may be made to Vistacare Hospice of Athens, 767 Oglethorpe Ave., Athens, Ga. 30606.
Brown Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Sallie Poole
Sallie Gennel Poole, 76, of Comer, diedMonday, November 29, 2004, at Cobb Health Care, Comer.
Born in Anderson, S.C., September 29, 1928, she was the daughter of the late John B. McKinley and Sula Harris McKinley Rutledge. Mrs. Poole was retired from the Owens Corning Fiberglass, Anderson Plant and was a member of the Retired Women’s Club at Fiberglass. She was a member of North Anderson Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by four brothers, John B. McKinley, William T. “Fuzz” McKinley, James McKinley and Albert McKinley.
Survivors include a son, Grady Poole, Colbert; daughters, Fredda Barnette, Comer, Peggy Bower, and Joyce Barton, both of Anderson, S.C.; brothers, George Alan McKinley, North Ridge, Calif., and Harold McKinley, Anderson, S.C.; sisters, Frances Lanternman, Miss., Irene Boggs, Kingsport, Tenn., and Lucy Evans, New Ellington, S.C.; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 2, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of McDougald Funeral Home with the Rev. J. Floyd Stansell, Jr., officiating. Burial will be in New Silverbrook Cemetery, Anderson, S.C.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 1, from 6 to 8 p.m.
The family requests flowers be omitted and memorials may be made to Calvary Home for Children, 511 W. Whitner Street, Anderson, S.C. 29624.

Phillip Cromer
Phillip Carlton Cromer, 41, of Royston, diedMonday, November 29, 2004.
Born in Franklin County, June 30, 1963, he was the son of Gaynell Crowe Cromer, Royston, and the late Billy Carlton Cromer. He worked with James Turbo and formerly worked in the Van Conversion Business. Mr. Cromer was preceded in death by his father and grandparents, Carlton and Gwynelle Cromer and Eldridge and Modie Crowe.
Survivors include two daughters, Kristin and Brianna Randall, both of Royston; and sister and brother-in-law, Jane and Butch Pritchett, Carnesville.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 2, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Pruitt Funeral Home with the Rev. James Gunn officiating. Burial will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Royston. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, December 1.

Clarence J. Elrod
Clarence J. Elrod, 77, of Hull, diedWednesday, September 29, 1999, following an extended illness.
Mr. Elrod was bornAugust 20, 1922 in Carnesville.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, October 5, in the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, with the Rev. Jimmy Owensby officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Memorial Park, Athens.
Survivors include his wife, Omie N. Elrod; one son, Fred Elrod, Gainesville; two daughters, Sandra Ann Elrod, Gainesville, and Wanda Patton, Greer, S.C.; two step-sons, John Norris, Carnesville, and Tommy Norris, Toccoa; one step-daughter, Bonnie Manley, Greer, S.C.; three brothers, the Rev. Charles Elrod, Commerce, Clifford Elrod, Statham, and Dale Elrod, Hull; and two sisters, Bessie Mae Crawford, Commerce, and Ruth Slater, Center.

Stanley C. Hardigree
Stanley C. Hardigree, 62, of Colbert, diedMonday, September 27, 1999.
Mr. Hardigree was bornin Clarke County, the son of the late Charlie Hardigree and Ola Epps.
He was retired from the University of Georgia and was a member of Victory Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held Thursday, September 30, in the chapel of Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, East. Burial was in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Rosetta Garrett Hardigree; one son, Ricky Hardigree; three sisters, Betty Hammonds, Jean Loggins and Joyce Loggins; two brothers, Franklin Hardigree and Curtis Hardigree; and six grandchildren.

Ouida S. Smallwood
Mrs. Ouida Sue Shields Smallwood, 90, of Commerce, diedSunday, October 3, 1999, at her residence.
A native of Madison County, Mrs. Smallwood was bornApril 20, 1909. She was a daughter of the late Johnny William and Mattie Ruth Martin Shields.
Mrs. Smallwood was retired from Commerce Sportswear and was of the Baptist denomination. She was preceded in death by her husband, Scott Littleton Smallwood.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, October 5, in the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, with the Revs. Mark Polston and David Harbin officiating. Burial was in Grey Hill Cemetery, Commerce.
Survivors include one brother, J.W. Shields, Commerce; one sister, Ruth S. Barnett, Warner Robins; and a special friend, Inez Thompson, Commerce.
Little-Ward Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Lydia F. McKissick
Mrs. Lydia Frances McKissick, 86, of Danielsville, diedTuesday, September 28, 1999, at Rainbow Retirement Home, Arnoldsville.
Mrs. McKissick was a daughter of the late Will and Bertha M. Knight.
She was retired from R & R Manufacturing and was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. Mrs. McKissick was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene McKissick, and a son, James Edwin "Jimmy" McKissick.
Funeral services were held Thursday, September 30, at Ebenezer Baptist Church with the Revs. Steve Ferguson and Paul Whitfield officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Survivors include one daughter, Joanne Whitfield, Danielsville; one sister, Mrs. M.B. (Dot) Jones; one brother, James Knight; one grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Annie L. Sims
Mrs. Annie Lou Sims, 92, of Statham, diedWednesday, September 29, 1999.
A native of Jackson County, Mrs. Sims was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Batey.
Funeral services were held Sunday, October 3, at Fairfield Baptist Church, Statham, with the Rev. G.F. Frazier officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Survivors include three daughters, Joann S. Stevenson, Danielsville, Joyce Sims-Jones, Riverdale, and Johnette Sims Cotton, Louisville, Ky.; two sons, James Willie Sims Jr. and Jimmy R. Sims, both of Statham; one sister, Ola McClusky, Jefferson; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Eberhart & Son Mortuary, Winder, was in charge of arrangements.

Lloyd C. Simmons
Lloyd Clyde Simmons, 77, of Maysville, diedSunday, October 3, 1999, at BJC Nursing Home, Commerce.
Mr. Simmons was bornMarch 5, 1922, the son of the late William and Omie West Simmons.
He was a veteran of World War II and had worked in the textile industry. Mr. Simmons was preceded in death by two brothers, Hoyt Y. Simmons and Roy L. Simmons.
Graveside services were held Tuesday, October 5, in Banks County Memorial Gardens with the Rev. William Buzzie Simmons officiating.
Survivors include three sons, Bobby Simmons and J.R. Simmons, both of Commerce, and Edward L. Simmons, Mililani, Hawaii; one brother, Johnny Simmons, Commerce; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, was in charge of arrangements.
