Janet P. Robinson
Mrs. Janet Posey Robinson, 54, of Alto, died Thursday, May 22, 2003, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center, Gainesville.
Mrs. Robinson was born October 19, 1948, in Lumpkin County. She was a daughter of the late James W. and Hope Hinson Posey.
Mrs. Robinson was a member of Welcome Home Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 24, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, with the Rev. Larry Ryals and Billy Burrell officiating. Burial was in Yonah Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Robinson is survived by her husband, Mickey Robinson, Alto; three daughters, Susan Wilkes and Lori Segers, both of Clarkesville, and Amanda Shook, Alto; one brother, Raymond Posey, Murrayville; and six grandchildren.

William E. ‘Jim’ Mason
William E. “Jim” Mason, 75, Alto, died Thursday, May 22, 2003, at Habersham County Medical Center.
Mr. Mason was born September 26, 1927, in Union County. He was the son of the late Claude and Inda Seabolt Mason.
Mr. Mason was a retired inspector with the Chrysler Corporation, with 31 years of service, and was of the Baptist denomination.
Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Sunday, May 25, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, with the Revs. Warren “Butch” Nichols and Gerald Adamson officiating. Burial was in the Alto Congregational Holiness Church Cemetery.
Mr. Mason is survived by his wife, Lois Dyer Mason, Alto; five step-daughters, Diane Talbert, Warner Robins, Kathy Bryson, Cartersville, Sheila Freeman, Murphy, N.C., Patsy Tanner, Braselton, and Karla Sprayberry, Blairsville; one step-son, Douglas Hughes, Blairsville; sister, Claudine Adkins, Rossville; 10 step-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild.

Beulah B. Gragg
Mrs. Beulah Brock Gragg, 83, of Lula, died Saturday, May 24, 2003, at her residence following an extended illness.
Born in Habersham County on April 9, 1920, Mrs. Gragg was the daughter of the late David Enos and Susan Brock.
She was a homemaker and a member of Flat Creek Baptist Church, Rabun County.
Mrs. Gragg was preceded in death by her husband, Edmond James Gragg, two sons, Jimmy Ray Gragg and Amiel Burgess Gragg, two daughters, Robin Michelle Gragg and Debra Sue Gragg, and a grandson, Wayne Wood.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Monday, May 26, at Flat Creek Baptist Church with the Revs. Austin Kelley, Thomas Gragg and David Harbin officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Survivors include eight daughters, Rosa Gailey, Lula, Carolyn Wood, Cornelia, Louise Wilbanks, Commerce, Willene Garner, Cleveland, Shirley Bradshaw, Clarkesville, Louann Gardiner, Homer, Rachel Jimenez, Duluth, and Dottie Morris, Alto; two sons, Rick Gragg, Alto, and Tony Gragg, Homer; one brother, Vance Henry Wilson, North Carolina; 20 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Tonya I. Thomas
Mrs. Tonya Ingram Thomas, 24, of Commerce, died Monday, May 19, 2003, at BJC Medical Center, Commerce.
Mrs. Thomas was born January 19, 1979, in Jackson County, a daughter of Mike Ingram and Judy Turpin Roberts, both of Commerce.
She was a homemaker and of the Baptist denomination.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 25, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. Douglas Duncan officiating. Burial was in the Riverside Baptist Church Cemetery.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Thomas is survived by her husband, William Thomas, Commerce; son, Chaz Thomas, Commerce; daughter, Bryanna Thomas, Commerce; sister, Amanda Ledford, Danielsville; step-brother, Derrick Minish, Commerce; and grandfather, Dwight Ingram, Commerce.

Jesse J. Duncan
Jesse J. Duncan, 76, of Alto, died Wednesday, May 21, 2003, at a private nursing facility following an extended illness.
Mr. Duncan was born in Hall County on January 21, 1927. He was a son of the late Dewey and Minnie Crumley Duncan.
Mr. Duncan served as a military policeman in the U.S. Army during World War II and retired from Hayes Dodge-Chrysler as a mechanic with 14 years of service.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Herman, Vernon, Otho and John Duncan.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 24, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, with the Revs. Clyde Garrison and Wayne Strickland officiating. Burial was in the Enon Baptist Church cemetery with the Rev. Cecil Thomas officiating at graveside.
Mr. Duncan is survived by his wife, Genevieve Stephens Duncan, Alto; son, Aubrey Duncan, Bowling Green, Ky.; brother, Qunnion Duncan, Franklin; and granddaughter, Ashton Duncan, Bowling Green, Ky.

Mildred I. Morris
Mrs. Mildred Irene Brown Morris, 77, of Clarkesville, died Saturday, May 24, 2003, at a local nursing home following an extended illness.
Mrs. Morris was born in Habersham County on June 22, 1925. She was a daughter of the late Randall and Lonie Lawrence Brown, and was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Morris, two sisters, Selma DiGloria and Shirley Day, and two brothers, Herman and Hugh Brown.
Mrs. Morris retired from Schnadig Corp. and was a member of Hazel Creek Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, with the Rev. Trent Smith officiating. Burial was in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.
Survivors include a son, James Morris, Toccoa; sisters, Ruth Smith, Baldwin, and Emma Patten, Lakeland; brother, Bruce Brown, Mt. Airy; four grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Mildred L. Coalley
Mrs. Mildred Louise Cannon Coalley, 77, of Baldwin, died Thursday, May 22, 2003, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center, Gainesville, following an extended illness.
Born in Rabun County on June 20, 1925, Mrs. Coalley was a daughter of the late Percy and Effie Bradley Cannon.
A graduate of Lakemont High School, she was a homemaker and a member of Lakemont Baptist Church. Mrs. Coalley was preceded in death by her husbands, William F. Cannon and Monroe Coalley.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 25, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, with the Revs. Luther Williams and Paris Whitworth officiating. Burial was in Yonah Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include daughters, Robin Cannon, Baldwin, and Clinda Roush, Brooksville, Fla.; sons, Danny Cannon, Lakemont, William Coalley, Baldwin, Brian Cannon, Alto, and Ralph Coalley, Jacksonville, Fla.; sister, Ruth McDonald, Atlanta; brothers, Percy Junior Cannon, Atlanta, J.W. Cannon, Lakemont, and Theadore Cannon, St. Augustine, Fla.; 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Donald E. O’Kelley
Donald Eugene O’Kelley, 70, of Commerce, died Monday, May 26, 2003.
Mr. O’Kelley was born in Jackson County on April 11, 1933. He was the son of the late Alton and Irene Hartley O’Kelley.
Mr. O’Kelley retired from Coca Cola Foods in California. He was preceded in death by two sons, Tony O’Kelley and Donald O’Kelley Jr.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 29, in the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, with the Rev. Bill Manus officiating.
Mr. O’Kelley is survived by his wife, Barbara Brown O’Kelley, Commerce; brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Joan O’Kelley, Hoschton; sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Patrick Roper, Jackson, Miss.; and a niece, Laurie Roper.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Charles T. Barnett
Charles Thad Barnett, 32, of Nicholson, died Saturday, May 24, 2003, at Athens Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Barnett was born December 4, 1970, in Jackson County, a son of Mary Lou Sanders Barnett, Nicholson, and the late Sport Barnett. He was preceded in death by a brother, Terry Barnett.
Mr. Barnett was employed as a tile setter.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, at Antioch United Methodist Church with the Revs. Richard Cathy and David Bowen officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Survivors, in addition to his mother, include a daughter, Brittany Barnett, Nicholson; and three brothers, Todd Barnett and Trey Barnett, both of Nicholson, and Tony Barnett, Commerce.

Frances P. Marlow
Mrs. Frances Parks Marlow, 86, of Pendergrass, died Saturday, May 24, 2003, at her residence following an extended illness.
Mrs. Marlow was born in Jackson County on October 14, 1916. She was a daughter of the late Arthur Guy Parks Sr. and Myrt Langford Parks.
Mrs. Marlow was a homemaker, and along with her late husband, operated the Dee Marlow Store for 51 years. She was a member of Holly Springs United Methodist Church, Pendergrass.
Mrs. Marlow was preceded in death by her loving husband of 68 years, Deewitt “Dee” Marlow, two grandchildren, Terry Deewitt “Witt” Marlow Jr., and Geri B. Standridge, and two brothers, Arthur Guy Parks Jr. and Mack Parks.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, at Holly Springs United Methodist Church with the Revs. Bob Lewis and Tom Fish officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mike Garrett, Shane Guined, Ned Klugh, Dixon Marlow, Jeff Sanders, Ben D. Shadburn and Lewis Franklin “Chip” Shadburn Jr. served as pallbearers.
Mrs. Marlow was the devoted mother of Arthur D. Marlow, Gainesville, H. Dennis Marlow, Joann Marlow and Terry D. Marlow, all of Pendergrass, Delene M. Shadburn, Maysville, and Janet M. Standridge, Jefferson. In addition to her children, she is also survived by a sister, Jean P. Savage, Maysville; eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
