Jennifer Crawford
Jennifer Rush Crawford, 25, died Wednesday, April 10, 2002, at Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. The Tattnall County native had lived in Florida for the past four years, returning to Georgia recently. She was a member of Elza Baptist Church, and a waitress.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Jody Rush.
She is survived by two daughters, Katlyn Crawford and Sarah Crawford, both of Bradenton, Florida; her parents, Joe and June Rush of Reidsville, Georgia; one sister, Joy Barlow of Grovetown; her maternal grandmother, Ann Bowen of Reidsville; her paternal grandmother, Kate Rush of Glennville, Georgia; and several aunts and uncles.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 13, at Elza Baptist Church, with Billy Collins and the Rev. Joe Eason officiating. Burial was in Love's Chapel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers were cousins.

L. D. Todd
A memorial service for L. D. Todd will be held Friday, April 26, 2002, at 1 p.m. at Ebenezer Free Will Baptist Church in Glennville, Georgia, with the Rev. Michael Bryan officiating. Private internment of ashes will be in Ebenezer Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery later.
L. D. Todd was born March 25, 1938, and died January 28, 2002.
Roy E. Braddy
Roy E. Braddy of Glennville, 74, died Tuesday, April 18, 2006, at the Emanuel Medical Center after an extended illness. He was a native of Toombs County, a U. S. Air Force veteran, and a landscaper. He was a member of Adrian Baptist Church, and was preceded in death by his daughter, Joyce Hatcher.
He is survived by his wife, Wynette Braddy of Glennville; two daughters and three sons-in-law: Jean and Marty Mercer of Twin City, Ruth and Greg Eilers of Milledgeville, and Paul Hatcher of Dublin; a godchild, Jenny Sands of Glennville; one sister and brother-in-law, Sarah and Leland Ely of Soperton; eight grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, at Peebles-Curry-Durden Mortuary in Swainsboro.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 20, at Mt. Olive Church of the Nazarene near Scott, with the Rev. Ray Jenkins officiating.

Lori Briggs
Lori Briggs, 37, died Monday, April 17, 2006, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Savannah. The Florida native had lived in Jesup many years, moving to Reidsville nine years ago. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
She is survived by her husband, Jeff Briggs of Reidsville; a daughter, Erica Danielle Nicole Shaw of Reidsville; her mother, Sherry Ann Shaw of Reidsville; her mother-in-law, Geraldine D. Cannon of Pooler; two brothers, Ricky Allen Kelehar of Reidsville and Robert Charles Shaw of Moorehaven, Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 19, at Lower Lotts Creek Cemetery in Bulloch County.

Bobby Hall
Robert "Bobby" Hall, 71, died April 13, 2006, at his home. He was born January 1, 1935, to the late Hazekiah and Zona Mae Hall. He was the oldest of four children. He was a native of Glennville, Georgia. He was educated in the public schools of Tattnall County. He received his shoe repair trade from Savannah State College.
At an early age, he accepted Christ as his personal Lord and Savior and joined St. James A.M.E. Church, where he was baptized by the late Rev. Sammie Bailey.
He enjoyed taking pictures and was called "Picture Man." Television station WTOC referred to him as an "Icon." The Sand Gnats professional baseball team honored him with a moment of silence on April 13.
He is survived by one sister, Gloria Brown of Riverhead, New York; one brother, William Hall of Savannah; two aunts, Ruth Porter and Rita Lanier, both of Glennville; three nieces: Victoria Chandler and Sharon Butts, both of Riverhead, New York; and Valerie Hall of Atlanta; three nephews: Roger and Reginald Brown, both of Los Angeles, California; and Peter Brown of Riverhead, New York; one sister-in-law, Willie Mae Hall of Savannah; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Monday, April 17, at 1 p.m. at St. James A.M.E. Church in Glennville, officiated by the Rev. Richie Williams. Interment was in the Glennville City Cemetery. Pallbearers were members of the Sycamore Tree Gang.

Charles Coleman
Charles Edward Coleman, 72, died Thursday, April 13, 2006, at Glenvue Nursing Home. The Tattnall County native had lived in Glennville all his life. He was employed with Dasher's Texaco for many years, and owned Coleman's Service Station and the Friendly Inn Café. He was retired from the City of Glennville, and was a member of Glennville Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Lillian K. Coleman of Glennville; children: Marilyn King, Sarah and Louis Manor, and Charles Coleman, Jr., all of Glennville; Margaret K. Drinks, William and Sharon King, and James and Ilen King, all of Stone Mountain; Diann and James Roberts; Narcy and Timmy Brown of Ludowici; Rufus and Carol King of Conyers; and Edward and Connie Coleman of Lawrenceville; sisters, Annie Joyce Lett of Glennville and Donna Sapp of Bowen, Florida; a brother, Gene Bennett of Chicago, Illinois; 35 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 17, at Carter Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Curtis Coleman officiating. Burial was in Glennville City Cemetery.

Jonathan William Martin
God called our little angel, Jonathan William Martin, home on April 15, 2006. A celebration of his short life will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday April 20, 2006, at True Faith Church of God in Christ, Macon, Georgia.
Jonathan was born on February 24, 2006, in Statesboro, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Shelton R. Martin Sr. of Macon; great-grandparents, Leonia Flonnory Sr. of Macon, GA, and William H. Smith and Jeppie Lundy.
He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Micah Martin of Statesboro; maternal grandparents, Cottrell
and Kaye Flonnory Jr. of Columbus; paternal grandmother, Ms. Brenda Martin of Newnan, GA; great grandparents, Mr. Cottrell of Macon, GA, Mrs. Martha L. Smith of Newnan, GA; and a host of aunts, uncles, and other relatives.

Betty Ogden
Betty Rae Lucas Ogden, 75, of Ludowici, died Saturday, April 15, 2006, after an extended illness. The Liberty County, Georgia, native was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy of Eulonia, Georgia; a licensed practical nurse; and was a foster mother.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Kevin Smiley of Jesup; two sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and June Rush of Townsend and Stacy and Beverly Rush of Ludowici; an adopted son, Larry Ogden of Ludowici; two sisters, June Jackson of Smyrna and Jeanetta Powell of Walthourville; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 18, in Jesup City Cemetery, with the Rev. Danny Stillwell officiating.

Frank M. Pelletier
Frank M. Pelletier, 76, died Tuesday, April 18, 2006, at East Georgia Regional Medical Center. The Michigan native had lived in Glennville for the past 25 years. He was a U. S. Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. He was retired from civil service and the Army National Guard. He enjoyed golfing.
He is survived by his wife, Maderia D. Pelletier of Glennville; daughters and sons-in-law, Vicki and Kurt Stanford of Savannah and Angela and Jimmy Weeks of McDonough; sons and daughters-in-law: Michael Pelletier and Johnny and Lois Wilson of Richmond Hill; Jackie and Linda Wilson of Rincon; and Ricky and Joy Wilson, Randy and Debra Sue Wilson, Andy and Terri Wilson, and Dennis and Connie Wilson, all of Glennville; one sister, Jean Thompson of Ohio; 17 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Ken F. Roy, Sr.
Ken F. Roy, Sr., 56, died Thursday, April 13, 2006. The Massachusetts native had recently moved to Glennville.
He is survived by a daughter, Sara Jeanne Graf of Glennville; sons: Ryan Roy; Ken Roy, Jr.; and Barry Roy; a sister, Beverly Roy; a brother, Ronald Roy; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted in Ftizwilliam, New Hampshire, on Thursday, April 20.

Tietgen Smith
Clarence Tietgen Smith, 85, died Wednesday, April 12, 2006, following a short illness. He was born March 23, 1921, in Reidsville to the late Clarence Smith and Ora Mae Tietgen Smith. After graduating from Reidsville High School, he worked in civil service at the Charleston Naval Yard for a brief period before joining the U. S. Navy. After serving his country for four years during World War II, he met and married Juanita Brower Smith. He was a farmer, and a member of Reidsville United Methodist Church, Reidsville Lions Club, Reidsville VFW Post #7764, Rising Sun Lodge #32, Savannah Scottish Rite, Alee Temple of Savannah, and the Reidsville Grand Rascals (RGR). He was also retired from the Georgia Department of Corrections.
He was preceded in death by his parents; by his wife, Juanita Brower Smith in 1986; and his wife, Ione Dowdy Nelson Smith in 1990.
He is survived by a daughter, Anita Dale Smith Burch (Jacob) of Reidsville; a son, Louie Tietgen Smith (Brenda) of Reidsville; two grandsons, Matthew Smith Burch of Reidsville and Jason Louie Smith (Cheryllyn) of Sugar Hill; one granddaughter, Daphne Helena Jarriel of Statesboro; two great-grandchildren, Troy Kylar Smith and Savannah Grace Smith of Sugar Hill; one sister, Alma Smith Mitcham of Ludowici; two brothers, James Winton Smith (Joyce) and W. Louie Smith, Sr., all of Reidsville; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 15, at Reidsville United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Jimmy Smith and the Rev. David Hudson officiating. Burial was in Reidsville City Cemetery, with full military honors.

Therese Davis Tootle, 78, died Friday, April 14, 2006, at Evans Memorial Hospital. The Long County native had lived in Glennville most of her life. She was a homemaker, and a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Talmadge Tootle.
She is survived by sons and daughter-in-law: Thomas Tootle and Lee and Joyce Tootle, all of Glennville; and Talmadge A. "Tony" Tootle of Lyons; sister and brother-in-law, Mary and H. C. Tippins of Walthourville; brother and sister-in-law, James and Martha Davis of Walthourville; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, at Carter Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Jimmy Bargeron officiating. Burial was in Oak Grove Church Cemetery.
