JENELLE ELLEN GOLDIN
Mrs. Jenelle Ellen Goldin age 61 of Bud Mason Rd. Blairsville passed away on Thursday July 14, 2011 at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta following an extended illness. Mrs. Goldin was born on July 18, 1949 in Atlanta, GA, the daughter of the late James Thomas Goldin and the late Martha Mae Powell Goldin. Jenelle had retired in 2000 as a caseworker with the Department of Human Resources with over thirty one years of service. She had moved to Blairsville from Atlanta in 2004. Mrs. Goldin was of the Presbyterian faith.
Surviving Mrs. Goldin are one brother and sister-in-law, Dale and Janine Goldin of Melbourne Beach, FL, three nieces, Kimberly Komenda of Ballground, GA, Laura Komenda and Victoria Komenda both of Melbourne Beach, FL, several cousins, aunts, uncles, many other relatives and friends also survive.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday July 23, 2011 at 2:00pm from the Epworth United Methodist Church on McClendon Avenue in Atlanta with the Rev. Wendall Rush officiating. In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that memorials may be made to the Humane Society or to S.A.F.E. in memory of Mrs. Goldin.

MARY HELEN BRYSON
Mrs. Mary Helen Bryson age 70 of Hedge Lane Blairsville passed away on Friday July 22, 2011 ay her home following an extended illness. Mrs. Bryson was born on Feb. 11, 1941 in Fannin County, the daughter of the late Harvey Allen and the late Laurie Cole Allen. She was a lifelong resident of Union County. Mary enjoyed Reading and sewing. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ward Bryson in 2006, a son, Michael Bryson in 2003, two brothers, Hank and Dewey Allen, two sisters, Bonnie Fortenberry and Pauline Priest. Mrs. Bryson was a member of Bunker Hill Baptist Church.
Surviving Mrs. Bryson are two daughters, Cindy Bryson of Blairsville and Janice Bryson of St. Augustine, FL, three sisters and brothers-in-law, Willie and Arlen Bentley of Pikesville, KY., Lorene and Eugene Franklin of Blairsville, Beulah and George Hooks of Knoxville, TN., one brother, Clifford Allen of South Gate, MI., nine grandchildren, Matthew and Amanda Patterson, Heather and Marshall Cornette, Amanda Griffin, Brittney Cobb, Steven Beaver, Joshua, Dustin, Justin and Kristen Bryson, ten great grandchildren, many other relatives and friends also survive.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 24, 2011 at 2:00pm from the Mountain View Chapel with the Rev. Buck Dills officiating. Special music will be presented by Josh Dills. The following gentleman will serve as pallbearers, Arnold Patterson, Matt Patterson, Marshall Cornett, Joe Ivester, Steven Beaver and brad Earls. Interment will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will meet with friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening 6-9pm.

DORIS M. TONER
Mrs. Doris M. Toner age 89 of Blairsville and Blue Ridge formerly of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. passed away on Tuesday July 26, 2011 in the Union County Nursing Home following an extended illness. Mrs. Toner was born on Dec. 23, 1921 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of the late Harold Miller and the late Ellen Gallagher Miller. Doris was a devoted and loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved animals and playing cards. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Patrick Toner in 1983 and by a sister, Marilyn Malley. Mrs. Toner was of the Catholic faith.
Surviving Mrs. Toner are four sons and daughters-in-law, Edward and Karen Toner of Naperville, IL, Robert and Frances Toner of Morganton, GA, Michael and Diane Toner of Blairsville, Stephen and Ritsuko Toner of Pasadena, CA, two sisters and brothers-in-law, Marcia and Hans Due of Vero Beach, FL, Rosemary and Dominick Lettiere of Vero Beach, three brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Bonnie Miller, Thomas and Virginia Miller all of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Harley and Susan Miller of Pompano Beach, FL, eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, many other relatives and friends also survive.
A memorial service will be held at a later date with interment to follow in The Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Ft. Lauderdale. In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation in memory of Mrs. Toner.

WILMA FAYE ROPER
Mrs. Wilma Faye Roper, Age 50, of Jones St., Blairsville, passed away Friday, July 29, 2011, in North East Georgia Medical Center, in Gainesville, GA following an extended illness.Wilma was born in Towns County, and had lived in Towns and Union Counties all her life. She was a daughter of the late Willie and Ruby (Owenby) Burrell. Wilma loved spending time with her family, traveling and taking care of her children. She was member of Pine Grove Baptist Church in Hiawassee.
Wilma is survived by her loving husband Tim Roper of Blairsville, GA, two daughters that she adored, Erin and Emily Roper of Blairsville, GA, one sister and brother-in-law, Wanda and Herbert McCray of Hiawassee, GA; three brothers and sisters-in-law, William and Deb Burrell of Hiawassee, GA, Wayne and Tina Burrell of Clermont, GA and Jay and Kim Burrell of Hiawassee, GA, several nieces and a nephew, great nieces and nephews and cousins.
Funeral services for Wilma will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 1, 2011 at the chapel of Mountain View Funeral Home with Rev. Milton Harris and Rev. Ray Potts officiating. Music will be by Susie Murphy, Angie Kelley and Marion Durkee. The following gentleman will serve as pallbearers, Justin Kennedy, Dustin Kennedy, Lee Beaver, Zach Albietz, John Garrett, Jaythan Burrell and Kellan Burrell. KENNETH DREW KLUTH
Mr. Kenneth Drew Kluth age 50 of Tate Rd. Blairsville passed away on Wednesday August 25, 2010 in the Union General Hospital following a brief illness. Mr. Kluth was born on Oct. 2, 1959 in Evergreen Park, IL, the son of the late Eugene Harold Kluth and the late Margaret Catherine Murphy Kluth. Ken was a wonderful and loving husband, father, brother and grandfather. He was responsible for designing and building the Misty Mountain Railroad. Ken was of the Catholic faith.
Surviving Mr. Kluth are his loving wife, Pia McGill Kluth of Blairsville, step father, Charles Griffin of Blairsville, his children, Zachary and wife Angela Kluth of Chicago, IL, Cooper and Jonah Kluth of Blairsville, Isaac and Matthew Beise of Blairsville, one sister, Anna Kluth of Blairsville, three brothers and one sister-in-law, Eugene and Marilyn Kluth, Fred Kluth and Brian Kluth all of Chicago, IL, two grandchildren, Payton and Skyler, many other relatives and friends also survive.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, Aug. 29, 2010 at 2:00pm from the Mountain View Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Helton officiating. Interment will follow in the House of Prayer Church Cemetery. The family will meet with friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening from 6-8pm.

ROBERT LORNE FOREMAN

Robert Lorne Foreman, 81 of Hiawassee, Georgia died Thursday August 26, .2010 at Chatuge Nursing home in Hiawassee following an extended illness. Mr. Foreman was born March 24, 1929 in Windsor Ontario Canada to the late Rev, Sidney Robert Foreman and Greta Cooper Foreman. Mr. Foreman was happily married for fifty nine years to his wife Joan Horne Foreman. He attended Queens University in Kingston Ontario Canada and served in both the Royal Canadian Air Force and the Royal Canadian Navy. Bobs love of aviation began as a young child and continued throughout his life. Bob was also a gifted woodworker. Bob was an active member of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, delivered meals on wheels and a member of the lions club;. Bob enjoyed volunteering with the Licklog Community Theatre and the Young Harris College theatre.
Surviving Bob are his loving wife, Joan Foreman of Hiawassee, two sons and one daughter-in-law, Bruce Foreman of Toronto, Ontario Canada, David and Mary Anne Foreman of Lancaster Ontario, one daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Wesley Pethel of Gainesville, GA, one brother and sister-in-law, Ted and Sue Foreman, one sister and brother-in-law, Valerie and Keith Farrell all of Vacover, six grandchildren, Catherine, Alison, Mary Caitlin, Madison, Callum and Kira, many other relatives and friends also survive.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday Sept. 1, 2010 at 2:00pm from the Church of the Good Shepherd in Hayesville with Father John Rice officiating. Special music will be presented by Jerry Taylor. In lieu of flowers if you wish the family requests that donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation in memory of Bob. The family will meet with friends following the services at the church.

REV. DALLAS HOWELL TAYLOR
Rev. Dallas Howell Taylor age 78 of Jones Creek Rd. Blairsville passed away on Monday August 30, 2010 at his home following an extended illness. Rev. Taylor was born on Jan 2, 1932 in Talking Rock, GA, the son of the late Cisero Taylor and the late Flora Burgess Taylor. Up until the time of his death Dallas was the assistant pastor of Loving Grace Friendship Church. Dallas had been a member of Station #2 Volunteer Fire Department for over twenty years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was preceded in death by a sister, Opal Pierce and two brothers, John and David Taylor. Mr. Taylor was a member of Jones Creek Church of God.
Surviving Rev. Taylor are his loving wife of fifty eight years, Cleo Jones Taylor of Blairsville, two daughters and one son-in-law, Rita and Rev. Phillip Jackson of Blairsville, Bea Taylor Aaron of Blairsville, one son and daughter-in-law, Rex and Lucille Taylor of Blairsville, three grandchildren, Tracy Holbrooks, Wendy Burrell, Blake Taylor, Zachary Gassett and Sybil Glover, six great grandchildren, Kayla, Josh, Hannah, Donovan, Kaylee and Ethan, many other relatives and friends also survive.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday Sept. 2, 2010 at 2:00pm from the Mountain View Chapel with the Rev. Eddie Ramey, Rev. Terrell Jones and Rev. Phillip Jackson officiating. Special music will be presented by Randolph, Brittany and Casey Jones, Herman and Lavita Cheek. The following gentleman will serve as pallbearers, Benny, Denny, Eland and Shannon Jones, Roy Pierce and Jay Wills. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be, Darren Jones, Jimmy Wheeler, (Lil) Jimmy Wheeler, Zack Gassett, Blake Taylor and Randolph Jones. Interment will follow in the Liberty Hill Church Cemetery. The family will meet with friends at the funeral home on Tuesday and Wednesday evening from 5-9pm.

JAMES LESTER MONTIQUE
Mr. James (Better Known as Jimmy) Lester Montique age 52 of Sawmill Rd. Blairsville went to Heaven to go fishing with his mom, dad, sister, nephew and father-in-law on Monday August 30, 2010 at his home following an extended illness. Mr. Montique was born on July 9, 1958 in West Palm Beach, FL, the son of the late George W. Montique and the late Evelyn Bowling Montique. James was a loving father and brother and was a friend to many. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Evelyn Montique, Janice Martin, nephew, Timmothy Brian Bell and his father-in-law, Larry Robert Heritage. James attended the Day of Grace Baptist Church.
Surviving James are two children, Nichole A. Montique and James Montique both of Live Oak, FL, his only love and the mother of his children, Kim S. Montique of Live Oak, FL, two sisters and one brother-in-law, Carol and Wayne Younger of Lake City, FL, Joyce Champlin of Blairsville, two brothers and one sister-in-law, Robert and Anita Montique of W. Palm Beach, FL, (Butch)George Montique of Hollywood, FL, very special friends, caregivers and sister-in-law, Terri Heritage and Ervin Key, Gail Gifford, Katie Gelles and Linda Mears, several nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends also survive.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday Sept. 11, 2010 at 12:00pm from the residence of Joyce Champlin, 83 Stone Drive, Blairsville. In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family request that memorials may be made to Hospice or to the American Cancer Society in memory of Jimmy. The family will meet with friends following the services.
