HOYLE KING
Mr. Hoyle King age 66 went home to be with the Lord on Friday July 16, 2010 from his home following an extended illness. Mr. King was born on Sept. 16, 1943 in Union County, the son of the late Vaughn King and the late Margie Elliott King. He was a native and lifelong resident of Union County. Hoyle was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold and James King. Hoyle was a member of Zebulon Baptist Church.
Surviving Mr.King are his loving wife Patsy Berrong King of Blairsville, three sons and daughters-in-law, Trance and Debbie King of Blairsville, Terry and Alicia King of Young Harris, Marty and Tonya King of Blairsville, one brother, Vaughn King of Blairsville, six sisters and four brothers-in-law, Minnie and Welchel Garrett of Blairsville, Linda King of Ellijay, Christine and Roger Broome of Gainesville, Pauline Bridges, Caroline and Tim McGaha, Martha and Paul Moss all of Blairsville, five grandchildren, Ellee King, Jozie King, Lauren King, Kainan King and Alexis King, two step grandchildren, Jason Rich and Travis Rich, several nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends also survive.
Funeral services were held on Saturday July 17, 2010 at 11:00am from the New Liberty Baptist Church with the Rev. Danny White officiating. Special music was presented by Junior Graham and Angie Bridges. The following gentleman served as pallbearers, Trance King, Marty King, Terry King, Johnny Garrett, Roger Garrett and Ronnie Garrett. Interment followed in the church cemetery. The family met with friends at the church on Saturday from 10-11am.

BUREN EUGENE BURCH
Mr. Buren Eugene Burch age 67 of Brewer Drive Blairsville passed away on Wednesday Sept. 26, 2012 at his home following and extended illness. Mr. Burch was born on September 7, 1945 in Hiawassee, GA, the son of the late Fred Burch and the late Martha Anderson Burch. He was a lifelong resident of Union and Towns Counties. Buren enjoyed hunting, fishing and most of all spending time with his grandchildren. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather.
Surviving Mr. Burch are his loving wife of forty four years, Judy Brewer Burch of Blairsville, two daughters and sons-in-law, Vickie and Phillip Lovingood of Hiawassee, Vanessa and Everett Davenport of Blairsville, two sisters and brothers-in-law, Geneva and Harley Hunter of Hiawassee, Noble Lee and Dwight Dotson of Easley, SC, four grandchildren, Jimmy, Jessicia, Cassie and Christopher Sisum, one great grandson, Hank Sisum, many other relatives and friends also survive.
Funeral services will be held on Friday Sept. 28, 2012 at 2:00pm from the Mountain View Chapel with the Rev. Jan Devereaux officiating. Special music will be presented by Hubert Legg. The following gentleman will serve as pallbearers, Christopher Sisum, Stanley Hunter, Donald Dotson, Edward Ray Dotson, Adam Weaver and Dale Weaver. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Brewer, Everett Davenport and Joe Bingham. Interment will follow in the Providence Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will meet with friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 5-8pm.In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to Providence Methodist Church Cemetery fund.

Snejanka Raycheva Christova
Mrs. Snejanka Raycheva Christova, age 55, of Isabella Ave. Copperhill, TN passed away September 25, 2012 at Hospice of Chattanooga in Chattanooga. She was born September 20, 1957 in Sourorovo, Bulgaria. Snejanka was a Registered Nurse. She moved to Copperhill one year ago from Ft. Wayne, IN. She lived in the United States all her adult life. Snejanka received her RN in 1977 at Nencho Nikolaev College in Varna Bulgaria. She was a member of St. Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Ft. Wayne, IN.
Survivors include the love of her life, Michael Southern of Copperhill, TN, parents, Raycho Christov Pashov and Ianka Gindova Pashov of Copperhill, TN, daughter, Azura Pashova of Copperhill, TN, brotherVladimir Pashov of Copperhill, TN, three beartiful nieces, Raliza, Dessislava and Vivian.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers make donations to her 6 year old daughter, Azura.

Winifred “Teddy” Morrison
Mrs. Winifred “Teddy” Morrison, age 79, of Rocky Circle, Blairsville passed away Friday, September 28, 2012 at her home following an extended illness. She was born January 28, 1933 in Wildwood, FL to the late Paul and Laufa Moore Kendall. Teddy moved here 26 years ago from Indiana. She was a member of the Eagles, VFW, DAV and Antioch Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 31 years, Jimmy Earl Morrison of the home, children, Lisa Houser of Colorado Springs, CO, Shannon Elliott of Blairsville and Peri Oneil and her fiancé, Paul Thompkins of Oakwood, GA, sister Mary and Ed Woods of Green Castle, IN, two grandchildren, Crystal and Dawn, six great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Mountain View Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. George Cline officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.

HEATHER CORLENE WATERS DYER
Mrs. Heather Corlene Waters Dyer age 35 of Appalachian Hills Blairsville passed away on Friday September 28, 2012 in the Emory Hospital following an extended illness. Mrs. Dyer was born on Nov. 2, 1976 in Augusta, GA, the daughter of Jim Waters and Janie Jenkins Waters. Heather had been employed with the Union County Nursing Home as a Certified Nurses Assistant before her becoming ill and had been previously employed with Regency Hospice. She touched the lives of many people and was a loving and caring person who cared for many. She was a loving wife, daughter, sister, daughter-in-law and aunt. Heather was a member of New Union Baptist Church.
Surviving Heather are her loving husband and best friend, Craig Dyer of Blairsville, her parents, Jim and Janie Waters of Perkins, GA, sister and brother-in-law, Summer and Gary Melton of Martinsburg, W. VA, brother and sister-in-law, C.J. and Ashley Waters of Statesboro, GA, grandfather, C.J. Waters of Perkins, GA, mother-in-law, Shirley Dyer of Gainesville, special "Mamaw, Reida Stephens of Blairsville, two special nephews. Jackson Melton of Martinsburg, W. VA. and Henry Inman of Canton, NC, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Allison and Tony Inman of Canton, NC, many other relatives and friends also survive.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 1, 2012 at 1:00pm from the Mountain View Chapel with the Rev. Raymon J. Prince officiating. Special music will be presented by Gloria Griggs and Ricky Davenport. The following gentleman will serve as pallbearers, Allen Blevins, Devinand Persaud, Tony Inman, , Sammy Owenby, A.J. Jenkins, Nicholas Williams, Brett Barnes and Nathaniel Stephens. Interment will follow in the Union memory Gardens Cemetery. US Army
Mr. Clyde Dee York age 77 of Hicks Gap Rd. Blairsville formerly of Pavo, GA. passed away on Friday July 9, 2010 in the Union County Nursing Home following an extended illness. Mr. York was born on July 3, 1933 in Senica, SC., the son of the late Arvil York and the late Bertie Mae Graham York. He was a veteran of the US Army. He was a loving father, brother and grandfather. Mr. York was a member of the Nazarene Church in Moultrie, GA.
Surviving Mr. York are three sons and two daughters-in-law, Tim and Robin York of Loganville, GA, Kendall York of Pavo, GA, Greg and Linda York of Pavo, one daughter and son-in-law, Alisa and Robbie Green of Blairsville, one brother and sister-in-law, Eddie and Susan York of Quitman, GA, six grandchildren, Hannah, Becca, Sam, Crystal, Haley and Haden, many other relatives and friends also survive.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday July 13, 2010 at 10:30am from the Pavo Cemetery in Pavo, GA. with the Rev. Sherman B.Hall Jr. officiating. Military Honors will be presented the American Legion. The family met with friends following the services.

JAMES MARCELO HELSTROM
Little James Marcelo Helstrom age 23 months of Skeenah Gap Rd. Suches, GA. went to be with Jesus on Saturday July 10, 2010 from injuries received from an ATV accident. James was born on July 15, 2008 in Union County, the son of Eric Helstrom and Mercy Macadildig Helstrom. He loved to laugh and was always full of energy. He enjoyed riding four wheelers, backhoes and trucks. He was preceded in death by a brother, Tyler Helstrom. James and his parents attended the New Family Life Church.
Surviving James are his parents, Eric and Mercy Helstrom of Suches, grandparents, Harold and Norine Helstrom of Suches, Marcelo and Dominga of the Phillipines, uncles and aunts, Michael and Virginia Helstrom of Suches, Aaron and Brenda Helstrom of Wood Bridge, VA, Christine and Kevin Gervais of Woodstock, GA, Evangeline Macadildig, Michelle and Chris Hinton, Helen and Roberto Ramayrat, Jonathan Macadildig, Jehiel and Lynlyn, Joseph and Ernicita, John Mark and Makcelo Macadildig Jr. all of the Phillipines, many other relatives also survive.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 16, 2010 at 10:00am from the Mountain View Chapel with the Rev. Don Parmely officiating. Special music will be presented by Michelle Collins and Rachel Todd. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Michael and Aaron Helstrom, Kevin Bird and Tommy Frias. Interment will follow in the Meadow View Cemetery. The family will meet with friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 2-4pm and 6-8pm.

PATRICIA WEST DENT KRICK
Patricia West Dent Krick, age 73, passed peacefully to her Lord and Savior at Emory University Hospital on July 11, 2010, after a brief illness. She was the loving wife of Charles S. Krick III of Blairsville, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, William Henry Dent, and by a son, Michael Kenyon Dent.
Mrs. Krick was born March 21, 1937, in Sandersville, Georgia. Her parents were the late Jesse Kenyon West and the late Ella Bennett West. She graduated from Morgan County High School and was Valedictorian of the Class of 1955. She attended Young Harris College with the Class of 1957 and went on to graduate with Honors earning a BBA in accounting from Georgia College in Milledgeville.
As a young wife and mother in Fort Valley, Georgia, she was an active member of Fort Valley Presbyterian Church. She was a gifted pianist and served as the Director and accompanist of The Children’s Choir. She was a member of Women of the Church, a Vacation Bible School teacher, and faithfully played the piano for Sunday and special services. She was a devoted mother and very supportive as a volunteer in her children’s activities including Cub Scouts, Little League, and recreational sports. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed entertaining in her home and hosting Bridge Club and family friends.
As the children reached school age, she was employed by Woolfolk Chemical Company in the accounting department, and in later years went on to serve as Chief Financial Officer of W Supply Company in Macon and was the owner of The Flower Basket florist in Warner Robins, Georgia.
She was a faithful alumna of Young Harris College and served as the longtime class coordinator for the Class of 1957. With retirement and a move to Blairsville in the mountains of North Georgia, she remained a devoted grandmother as well as a member of the Friends of the Library Board and the Misty Mountain Quilters Guild where she served as treasurer for both organizations. Mrs. Krick was an active member of the Kiwanis Club of Blairsville where she served on the Board of Directors and was a dedicated and faithful volunteer for Meals On Wheels and numerous community groups. She attended Hayesville Presbyterian Church where again she shared her God-given talents in the music department.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Krick is survived by her sons, Dr. Jeffrey J. Dent and his wife, Vera Lynn Fryhofer Dent of Augusta; William Henry Dent, Jr. and his wife, Cheri Thomas Dent of Fayetteville; Joseph West Dent and his wife, Amy Hightower Dent of Albany, Georgia; grandchildren William Michael Dent, Virginia Ellen Dent, William Henry Dent III, Savannah Bell Dent, Mary Larkin Carden, and Gracen Amelia Carden; sisters, Barbara West Bone and her husband, the Rev. Bob L. Bone; Ann West Atkinson and her husband, Robert T. Atkinson, all of Young Harris; a brother, Jesse Kenyon West, Jr. of Jacksonville, Alabama; and eleven nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July17, 2010, in the Chapel at Mountain View Funeral Home in Blairsville, with the Rev. Linda Abel and the Rev. Bob L. Bone officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 18, 2010, at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Fort Valley, Georgia. If so desired, in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hayesville Presbyterian Church, 73 Hiawassee Street, Hayesville, North Carolina, 28904, or to a charity of choice.
