Timothy M. Musgrave was born January 16, 1958 at Marengo, Iowa, the son of Donald G. and Ann (Linnell) Musgrave. Tim received his education in the South Tama School District where he graduated from high school in the class of 1976. He continued his education at the Marshalltown Community College in Marshalltown for 2 years. He then began working as an independent telephone contractor updating phone systems for area businesses. In 1991 he moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico where he was an employed as a fire extinguisher systems contractor for Firemaster. More recently Tim had returned to Iowa and was a patient at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines where his death came on Wednesday December 13, 2000 at the age of 42 years. He was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church in Toledo. In free moments Tim enjoyed hot air balloons, the mountains and riding his motorcycles. He was preceded in death by his father and is survived by his mother Ann of Toledo, three brothers Donald Musgrave and Galen Musgrave both of Toledo and Michael Musgrave of Omaha, Nebraska.
George L. Parkinson
Services: Services will be 11:00 AM Monday, March 26, 2001 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Tama with Father Keith Birch officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 25th from 4-8 PM at the Henderson-Overton Funeral Home in Toledo, where a Scripture Service will be held at 7:00 PM. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Toledo, Iowa.

George Lewis Parkinson was born February 26, 1915 at Le Mars, Iowa, the son of Frederic and Caroline (Fablinger) Parkinson. George received his education in Le Mars where he graduated from Le Mars High School before attending West Mar College. On August 25, 1937 he was united in marriage to Florence Earley at Jefferson, Iowa. In his early years George farmed and was also very proud of his hearing aid invention in which he later sold and marketed. George then began working in the telephone industry and was employed by GTE as a District Manager for many years. During those years of employment George and Florence made their home in the communities of Jefferson, Boone, Redfield, and Cresco before moving to Toledo in 1968. After Florence’s death on January 20, 1999 George continued to make his home in Toledo. On Friday of this past week he entered the Marshalltown Medical and Surgical Center where his passage came on Monday, March 19, 2001 at the age of 86 years. George was an influential member of the Tama-Toledo community being a member of the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and the Toledo Tama Kiwanis Club. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Florence, two brothers and two sisters. He is survived by one son George and his wife Mary Parkinson Jr. of Ankeny, Iowa, two daughters Jean and her husband Fred Hinde of Richland, Washington and Mary Eileen Bowen of Sebastopol, California, 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Erma O. Powers
Services: Visitation is to be held on Wednesday, May 2, 2001 from 4-8pm at Henderson-Overton Funeral Home in Toledo. The funeral service is on Thursday, May 3, 2001 at 10:00 am at the funeral home also. Burial is at Dobson Cemetery in Garwin followed by a luncheon at the Tama American Legion Hall.

Erma O. Powers was born December 6, 1911 near Marshalltown, Iowa, the daughter of Christopher and Lucy (Hempy) Judge. Erma attended country school in rural Marshalltown and was later united in marriage to Lawrence A. Powers. Lawrence and Erma later divorced and Erma moved to Tama in January of 1966. Erma was employed for many years at Delongs in Grinnell and then made draperies for Irmaguard Oettchen in Tama. She also did sewing and mending for families in the Tama and Toledo communities. For the past five years Erma has resided at the Sunny Hill Care Center in Tama where her death came on Monday, April 30, 2001 at the age of 89 years. In free times she enjoyed working in her yard and garden. She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter Joyce Fowler, five brothers, Russell, Harold, Clifford, Kenneth and Edwin and one sister Dorothy. She is survived by three sons Wendell and his wife Frances of LeGrand, Iowa, Don and his wife Joyce of Montour, Iowa and Harvey of Tama, one daughter Judy Powers of Tama, one brother Roger Judge of Marshalltown, 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Floyd L. Prusha
Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 20, 2000 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Tama by Father Keith Birch. Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Henderson-Overton Funeral Home in Toledo where a scripture service will be held at 5:30 p.m.

Floyd Louis Prusha was born February 16, 1935 at home in Gladstone, Iowa, the son of James and Christina (Kvidera) Prusha. Floyd received his education in country school near Gladstone and later graduated from Tama High School in the Class of 1953. On February 22, 1955 he was united in marriage to MaryLou Herink at Tama, Iowa. Floyd and MaryLou have made their home farming north of Toledo where they had a dairy herd and also raised feeder cattle and hogs. After his retirement in 1997 Floyd and MaryLou continued to live on the farm where he enjoyed collecting antique John Deere tractors, making homemade wine, camping, hunting, fishing and trapshooting. For the past several months Floyd’s heath has failed and died at his home under the care of Iowa River Hospice on Saturday, December 16, 2000 at the age of 65 years. He was preceded in death by his parents and two nephews Dan and Kevin Prusha. He is survived by his wife MaryLou of rural Toledo, one son and his wife, Duane and Barb Prusha of Grinnell, Iowa, one daughter and her fiancé Becky McKinney and Gerald McClenathan of rural Toledo, one brother and his wife Paul and Theresa Prusha of Chelsea, Iowa, two sisters and their husbands, Maxene and Alfred Kopriva of Clutier, Iowa, and Lillian and Wilbert Mienhart of Hudson, Iowa, four grandchildren, Justin, Megan, Nathan and Nicole and one great grandson Wyatt.
Dorothy Quigley
Services: Graveside services 1:30 pm. Tuesday, January 16, 2001 at the Woodlawn Cemetery Toledo, Iowa by Rev. Jan Burnett of the Living Faith United Methodist Church officiating.

Dorothy H. Quigley was born February 1, 1913 at Toledo, Iowa, the daughter of George and Alma (Giger) Davis. Dorothy received her education in Toledo and on October 12, 1935 she was united in marriage to Andrew “Andy” Quigley. Dorothy and Andy made their home in Tama for three year before making their home in Toledo where she help her husband in operating his repair business. In 1968 she started Dot and Jean’s Antiques and Collectables with her daughter Jean at their home in Toledo. In the past few years Dorothy’s health has declined and more recently has been a patient at the Marshalltown Medical and Surgical Center in Marshalltown. Her death came at the hospital on Thursday evening, January 11, 2001 at the age of 87 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, two brothers and her husband Andrew in 1984. She is survived by two daughters, Helen Hess of Grinnell, Iowa and Jean Quigley of Toledo, 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
David M. Reinier
Services: A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2001 at 10:30 am, at St. Patricks Catholic Church in Tama, Iowa. Visitation will be held at Henderson-Overton Funeral Home in Toledo on Friday, March 23, 2001 from 5-7pm.

David M Reinier was born November 6, 1949 in Carroll, Iowa, the son of Harold and Frieda (Reil) Reinier. At age 2 he moved with his parents to Toledo, Iowa where he attended school and later graduated from South Tama High School with the Class of 1968. On November 22, 1969, David married Vickie Weston of Thor, Iowa at St Patrick’s Catholic Church in Tama, Iowa. David and Vickie have made their home in the Tama-Toledo area for over 31 years. He worked for Chemtron Corporation in Tama for 10 years, before beginning his employment with Lennox Industries in Marshalltown, Iowa on November 22, 1983. David had been fighting cancer for the past few years and had been a patient at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa, where he died Friday 16, 2001 at the age of 51 years. In his spare time, David enjoyed NASCAR racing, rebuilding cars, and playing with his dogs. He is preceded in death by a sister Mary Denise. David is survived by his wife Vickie; sons SSGT Clint Reinier, his wife Elena, and their sons Jacob and Clayton of Whiteman AFB in Missouri; Kirk Reinier, his wife Lisa, and their children Emily, Kirsten, Jacob, and Levi of Grinnell, Iowa; and daughter Katie Reinier of West Des Moines, Iowa. He is also survived by his parents and his sister, Rebecca Reinier-Furhman of Adel, Iowa, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Helen M. Reinig
Services: At this time no visitation will be held. A private family graveside service will be held at the Woodlawn Cemetery , Toledo, IA on Wed., Oct. 31, 2001 with a public gathering and luncheon at the First Presbyterian Church in Toledo starting at 11:30 am. Rev. Rick Johnson will officate the graveside service.

Helen M. Reinig was born February 10, 1926 near Toledo, Iowa, the daughter of Lawrence and Edna (Finch) Reinig. Helen received her education in the Toledo public schools and graduated from Toledo High School in the Class of 1944. Helen then began working as a billing clerk for Central Iowa Telephone Company, which later became GTE. Helen retired in 1979 and continued to make her home in Toledo. For the past month she has been a patient at the Marshalltown Medical and Surgical Center where her death came on Sunday, October 28, 2001 at the age of 75 years. In free times Helen enjoyed sewing, working with her houseplants, photography and watching basketball on television. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the Rebekah Lodge. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by one brother Larry Reinig of Garwin, two sisters, Pauline Reinig of Toledo and Mary Louise Hartman of Anchorage, Alaska, 2 nephews, 4 nieces and 19 great nieces and nephews.
Mildred Ribby
Services: 10:30 am on Tuesday, March 3, 2001 at the Henderson - Overton Funeral Home in Toledo with burial at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Toledo. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday at the funeral home.

Mildred Antonia “Tina” Ribby was born on November 12, 1921 at Clutier, Iowa; the daughter of Louis and Mary (Hess) Linhart. She received her education at country school near Clutier. On March 20, 1940, she was united in marriage to Melvin Thomas Ribby and they lived on Melvin’s home place east of Toledo, Iowa, making their living farming. After Melvin’s death in 1967, Mildred moved to Toledo where she lived until August of 2000, and then later moved to a nursing home. More recently, Mildred had been a resident of the Keystone Care Center in Keystone, where her death came on Saturday, March 3, 2001, at the age of 79 years, following a lengthy illness. Mildred kept herself busy by babysitting, cleaning houses, being the custodian of the Tama County Historical Museum and played the Kazoo in the Tama/Toledo kitchen band. Mildred loved working in her flower and vegetable garden and doing crossword puzzles. She also loved watching Wheel of Fortune. All activities stopped at that time to watch the show. She was also a proud member of the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) for over 20 years. Mildred was an active member of the Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Marshalltown. She enjoyed, and it was very important to her to do Temple work at Salt Lake City and Chicago. You could say her life revolved around her religious beliefs. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Melvin, one grandchild, 3 brothers, Charlie, Louis and Joe Linhart, 2 sisters; Albina Rucker and Otheia “Tillie” Sweerin and one niece. Mildred is survived by 3 children; Gene (Denise) Ribby of Montour, Iowa, KaLyn (Ervern) Nekola of Elberon, Iowa and Thomas (Cheryl) Ribby of Lowry City, Missouri , 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
M. Pauline Rohrs
Services: There will be no visitation. The funeral service is on Thursday, Sept. 27, 2001 at 10:30 am at the First United Methodist Church in Marshalltown, IA. A lunch will follow at the church fellowship hall. Burial will then be at the Albion Cemetery in Albion, IA.

Pauline Rohrs was born July 23, 1929, at Farber, Missouri, the daughter of Claude and Leona (Doyle) Terry. Pauline received her education in Missouri and on April 11, 1948 she was united in marriage to Glen Rohrs Sr. at the Baptist Church in Marshalltown, Iowa. Pauline and Glen made their home in Marshalltown for a time before moving to Montour where they lived all their married life. After Glen’s death on June 19, 2000 Pauline continued to make her home in Montour. On Thursday, September 20, 2001 Pauline’s death came as the result of automobile accident east of LeGrand, Iowa. Pauline’s life evolved around helping and caring for others. She spent many years caring for her husband though his illness. In free moments she enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Glen Sr., and one brother Robert. She is survived by one son, Glen Rohrs Jr. and his wife Tammy of Marshalltown, two daughters, Terry Stephenson and husband Rick of Montour, and Betty Winsor of Mesa, Arizona, one brother Delbert Terry of Tyler, Texas, four sisters, Virginia Fisher and husband Don of Union, Iowa, Juanita Wallace and husband Earl and Claudine Quillen all of Marshalltown and Mary Whipman and husband Walt of Aurora, Oregon, five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Duane R. Sells
Services: There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 23, 2001 at 10:30 am at the Henderson-Overton Funeral Home in Toledo. A luncheon will follow the service at the Toledo American Legion Hall. Burial will be at a later date.

Duane R. Sells was born September 17, 1934 in Whitten, Iowa, the son of Neal P. and Albina (Peshel) Sells. Duane was united in marriage to Karlene Wilkerson on November 21, 1968 and they made their home in Toledo where he was employed by Pioneer Hi Bred International Corp. They then moved to Ankeny where Duane continued his employment with Pioneer at Johnston, Iowa. After retiring from Pioneer they moved to make their home in Bella Vista, Arkansas where his death came on Monday, April 16, 2001 at the age of 66 years. He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife Karlene of Bella Vista, one daughter and her husband Lisa (Truman, Jr. “Bill”) Warner of Toledo and one son and his wife, Kerry and Toni Sells of Nashville, Tennessee, one grandson Beau Bristol of Green Bay, Wisconsin, one brother Leon Sells of Toledo, two sisters Diane Hoffer of El Paso, Texas and Doris (Mrs. Lanney) Valline of Toledo.
