RICEVILLE -- Norman Joel Chase, 60, of Riceville, formerly of Mason City, died Sunday, Nov. 14, 1999, at home after a lengthy illness; survivors include his wife, Leota; a son, Jeffrey of Glen Burnie, Md.; two daughters, Mary Anderson and Diane Chase, both of Oskaloosa; four grandchildren; and a sister, Pamela Loeckle of Mason City; he was preceded in death by two brothers; memorial services were 11 a.m. today at Lindstrom Funeral Home, Riceville, with inurnment at a later date; Mr. Chase was a member of the Iowa National Guard and was a firefighter with the Mason City Fire Department for 30 years.
OELWEIN -- Elsa E.
