CEDAR FALLS -- Alma Unger, 78, of Cedar Falls, died Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2002, at Allen Hospital, Waterloo, of cancer; services 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Ascension Lutheran Church, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery; visitation 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Funeral Chapel on Kimball, 233-3146.

CEDAR FALLS -- Mildred Krog, 83, of Cedar Falls Lutheran Home, died there today, Oct. 17, 2002, of natural causes; services pending with Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, 266-7525.

WATERLOO -- Shirley A. Kapler, 76, of 1926 Camille Court, died Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2002, at home; services pending with Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, 233-3393.

CEDAR FALLS -- Evalyn Marie Scharpff, 83, of Cedar Falls, died Monday, Oct. 14, 2002, at the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home of natural causes; memorial services 10 a.m. Friday at Cedar Falls Lutheran Home Chapel, with inurnment in Greenwood Cemetery; family will receive friends following the service at the chapel.
