Those left to honor Roy's memory are his wife, Izetta; sons, Dennis (Nancy) Moore of Newton, Chris (Pamela) Moore of Newton, George (Heidi) Moore of Corpus Christi, Texas; daughters, Jeanette (Doug) Harms of Johnston, Iowa, Jeanine (Derron) Brewer of Wylie, Texas; 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Roy was a graduate of Newton High School in 1943 and has farmed for 60 years. He was a member of the United Presbyterian Church in Newton, Amboy Grange, Jasper County Farm Bureau, and Amboy Champions 4-H Club.

Those left to honor Maxine's memory are her 2 sons, Roger (and Connie) Altes of Marion, Iowa and Rodney (and Janet) Altes of Mingo, Iowa; 5 grandchildren, Carla Altes, Craig (and Lisa) Altes, Kevin Altes, Michael (and Cindy) Altes, and Melissa (and Chris) Stevens; and 3 great-grandchildren, Michael, Jonathan, and Kathryn;
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Pearl (Signs) Jones; husband, Orrie in 1998; her infant son, Marvin; and twin sister, Nadine Mullihan.
She was a graduate of Mingo High School in 1932 and received her teaching certificate through normal training.
She was a member of the Mingo United Methodist Church.

Those left to honor Lillians memory are her husband, Gilman of Newton; her son, Gary (and Lisa)of Newton; her grandchildren, Deidra (and Steven) Earl of Newton; Rylan and Braden Weeks & Gabriel and Nathan Earl; her sister, Delores (and Rober) Powell of Hutchinson, MN. She is preceded in death by her parents, Williard and Edna (Bentz) Anderson. Lillian was born on February 19th, 1931 in Shotley Township, Minnesota. Lillian was a graduate of Kelliher High School. She worked in the food service industry until she retired. She loved spending time with her great-grandchildren. Lillian also enjoyed nature, watching birds and flowers. Cooking was another thing she liked doing.

Those left to honor Clementene's memory are her sister, Palymyra (and Lloyd "Sonnie") Dodson of Fort Madison, Iowa; brother, Glen (and Helen) Hawk of Centerville, Iowa; her 2 nephews, Monty (and Vickie) Habben and Greg (and Beth) Hawk; 2 nieces, Sonya Sue (and Jeff) Taylor and Debra Hawk; and many other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roy; her son, Roy, Jr.; 1 brother and sister in infancy; her 3 half-brothers, Joe, George, and Harold; and 2 half-sisters, Leona and Louise.
Clementene was a homemaker and farmer's wife.
She had been an active resident at Baxter Care Center in Baxter, Iowa for the the past 5 years, where the staff and resident's had treated her like family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ross and Emma (Deeter) Sutton; two brothers, Leland and Marlyn Sutton; and her three sisters, Maude Huffaker, Leona Sutton, and a sister in infancy.
Gladys was a member of the Evangelical Free Church, American Legion Auxiliary for over 50 years, and a charter member of the Baxter Senior Citizens and Baxter Kitchen Band.

Those left to honor Tommy's memory are his wife, Peggy Sanders of Reasnor; 3 sons, Tommy Sanders, Jr. of Reasnor, Erwin (and Staci) Sanders of Pleasantville, Iowa, and William Sanders; his daughter, Jody (and David) Albee of Newton; 12 grandchildren; his 4 brothers, Jerry Sanders, Bud, Richard, and Gene Hanson all of Newton; 2 sisters, Vickie of Newton and Betty of Marshalltown, Iowa; and Lee (and Amy) Cooper and their three children of Reasnor.

Tommy was a roofer for Newton Roofing and Hansen Roofing.
He enjoyed racing stock cars and loved to hunt and fish with his children and grandchildren.

Those left to honor Lelah's memory are her 2 sons, Rick Robson of Washington, Iowa and Ray (and Deena) Robson of Newton; 2 daughters, Janice Paulson of Newton and Carrie Duncan of Columbus, Indiana; her 5 grandchildren, Michelle Paulson, Megan Paulson, Valerie Verburg, Joseph Verburg, and Ashley Verburg; 4 great-grandchildren, Jayden Paulson, Devin Barnes, Deziree Barnes, and Avonya Jones; and her brother, Marvin "Doc" DeHaai of Lincoln, Nebraska.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John C. and Johanna (Shoemaker) DeHaai; husband, Larry Robson; 2 sisters; and 1 brother.
Lelah was a graduate of Monroe High School in 1954.
She worked at the Maytag Company in the dishwasher division for 30 years, retiring in 1990.

Kenneth Robinson

Memorial Service: Masonic services begin at 10:30 a.m., Monday, March 05, 2007 at the Congregational United Church of Christ, 308 E. 2nd St. N. in Newton; followed immediately by the memorial services.
Visitation: The family will greet friends on Monday, March 05, 2007 at the church with a lunch following the services.
Those left to honor Kennneth's memory include his Wife: Carol of Newton; two sons, Glen Robinson of Des Moines, Iowa; and Randal (Pat) Robinson of Waterloo, Iowa; his four grandchildren, Sean (LeAnn) Robinson; Melissa (Sam) Stravers; Ashley (Steve) Knowles; and Brian Robinson; great-grandson, Hunter Lee Knowles; his seven brothers and sisters; many nieces and nephews; and his many friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Alice Robinson; great-grandson, Jayden Robinson in infancy; 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
Kenneth served his country in the U. S. Army during WW II, where he was a part of the occupation forces in Japan.
Kenneth was a production worker at the Maytag Company for 30 years, retiring in 1981.
Kenneth was a member of the Congregational United Church of Christ in Newton; Worshipful Master in 1984 and current Chaplain of the Newton Lodge No. 59 A. F. & A. M.; He was the Grand Chaplain from 1992-1993 of the Grand Lodge of Iowa A.F. & A.M. and served on the Fraternal Review Committee from 1999 to 2003; He served as High Priest of Gebal Chapter #12 in 1985; Illustrious Master of Malachi Council #55 in 1985; and Emmient Commander of Oriental Commandery #22 in 1988. He served as Secretary/Recorder of the Newton York Rite Bodies from 1993-1994; Kenneth was a member of the Holy Order of High Priesthood; Thrice Illustrious Masters Association; and Iowa Past Commanders Association. He was a member of the Charles Clyde Hunit Priory #42 Knight of York Cross of Honour (K.Y.C.H.). He was a member of St. Ignatius Conclave, Red Cross of Constantine; Kenneth was honored by his fellow brethren in 2003 by being awarded the “Mason of the Year” award; and He served as Worthy Patron in 1981; 1984; and 1986 of the Newton Chapter No. 100 O. E. S. Kenneth enjoyed hunting, fishing and his grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to Hospice of Jasper County or to the Congregational United Church of Christ or to the Newton Lodge No. 59 A. F. & A. M. Memorials may be left at the church on the morning of the service or at the funeral home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Barbara Ann (Woods) Cole; a child in infancy; his three brothers; and four sisters.
Ray graduated at Granby High School in Granby, Missouri.
He was a manager of the Appliance Department for Montgomery Wards in Newton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Forrest and Gladys (Weldon) Bishop; husband, William “Bill”; grandson, Joshua Rodgers; two brothers, Chester Lee and Donald Bishop.
Marjorie was born on May 5, 1933 in Knoxville, Iowa. She was a graduate of Knoxville High School. She grew up and lived in Knoxville until moving to Fulton, Missouri and then on to Bay City, Texas for 23 years before moving back to Knoxville in 2002. On March 2, 1951 in, Marjorie was united in marriage with William “Bill” Franklin in Knoxville, Iowa.
Marjorie sold toys, Tupperware and imported goods in the Knoxville area and had worked at the Ben Franklin Store in Bay City, Texas.
She was a member of the Coal Ridge Community Church in Knoxville.
