Ruth Eurom, 85
Ruth Eurom, 85, a longtime resident of the Marshall County area, died Oct. 8, 2004, at Grandview Heights Care Center in Marshalltown.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Pursel Davis Funeral and Crematory. Burial will follow in the Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Pursel Davis Funeral Home and Crematory, where the family will be present. Memorials may be directed to the Iowa River Hospice. She is survived by three daughters, Dolores (Carroll) Huff of Coal Valley, Ill., Linda Otto of Cedar Rapids and Nancy Gomez of Des Moines; one son, Darrell Eurom of Marshalltown; nine grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband "Tip" on Feb. 14, 1975; a son, Gary Gene; six brothers and five sisters.

Ruth Maxine Miller, 86, of 1301 Summit Street, died Oct. 10, 2004, at the Iowa Veterans Home.
Arrangements are pending with Pursel Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in Marshalltown.

Beverly Eggleston, 62
Beverly Eggleston, 62, of 2150 230th Street, died Oct. 10, 2004, at the Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines.

Phyllis M. Ruppelt, 82
STEAMBOAT ROCK - Phyllis M. Ruppelt, 82, of Steamboat Rock, died Oct. 10, 2004, at Ellsworth Municipal Hospital in Iowa Falls, of natural causes.
Funeral services are pending at Creps Abels Funeral Home in Eldora.

Helen E. Lamb, 89
Helen E. Lamb, 89, died Monday, Aug. 2, 2004, at Grandview Nursing Home in Marshalltown.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Estel Perrin Avey Funeral Home in Marshalltown, with burial in the Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. to greet friends. Memorials have been established by the family.
Helen is survived by two daughters, Shirley Sternola of Golden, Colo. and Elaine Budke of Edina, Minn.; three sons, Gary (Judy) Lamb of St. Louis, Ken (Peggy) Lamb and Don Lamb, all of Marshalltown; daughter in law Marge Lamb of Marshalltown; and Larry (Sam) Good of Marshalltown. Also surviving are 17 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; two sisters, Marion (Carl) Beckner of Aurora, Ill. and Ruth (Earl) Beckner; one brother Ross (Betty) Miler of Aurora, Ill.; three sister-in-laws; as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death her husband Cleo in 1982; her son Richard in 1993; a son in law Melvyn Budke; two sisters, Alma and Carol; a brother Howard and his wife and four children; one grandchild; and one great grandchild.

ELDORA - Linda Cole, 58, of 1426 12th Avenue, Eldora, died Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2004, at Marshalltown Medical and Surgical Center.
Graveside services will be held Saturday at 12:30 p.m. at the Union Cemetery in Union, with Pastor Jim Hartman officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Biersborn Funeral Home in Union, where her family will be present to greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be directed in her name to her family. Funeral services are set for 11 a.m. Friday at the Peace United Church of Christ, with Rev. Robert Doner officiating. Burial will follow at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Toledo at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. Friends may call Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Goettsch Perrin Funeral Home, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial fund is being established.
She is survived by her three children, Marcia (Bruce) Lenhart of Keystone, Pam (Maynard) Wedmore of Gladbrook and Roger (Diane) Abrams of Gladbrook; nine grandchildren, Leah Lenhart, Lance Lenhart, Lucas Lenhart, Logan Lenhart, Chris Wedmore, Shanna Goos, Tom Wedmore, Katie Wedmore and Mike Adams; six great grandchildren, Madison, Preston, Maya, Jack, Caitlyn and Cosandra; and a brother Lanny Bruner of Iowa City.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Henry in 1987.

LAUREL - Bill Huckfeldt, 92, of Grandview Heights Care Center and formerly of Laurel, died Saturday, Aug. 21, 2004, at the Marshalltown Medical & Surgical Center.
Following cremation at Pursel-Davis Funeral Home & Crematory, memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Pursel-Davis Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial in the Iowa Veterans Home Cemetery will be held at a later date. Cremation will follow the services and burial will be at a later date. Military rites will be offered by the Ehrig-McTurk post of the American Legion. Irene Stonewall, 89
Irene Stonewall, 89, of Bickford Cottage in Marshalltown died at Bickford Cottage Thursday, Aug. 19, where she had been a resident since 1998.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Estel Perrin Avey Funeral Home with Pastor Corvin Seltzer, chaplain of Bickford Cottage, officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with family present form 5 to 7 p.m. A memorial fund is being established.
Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Lee Stonewall of Waterloo; son-in-law, John Clausen of Gladbrook; five grandchildren, Dan (Vivian) Stonewall of Mobile, Ala., Randy (Rhonda) Stonewall of Waterloo, Todd Stonewall of St. Petersburg, Fla., Matt Clausen of Grimes and Tanya (Tom) Richards of Johnston. Also surviving are 13 great-grandchildren and three great-great-granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Myron; son, Donald; daughter, Patricia; and three brothers, Ivan, LaVern and Walter McFarland.

John Bryant Fields, 40, of Des Moines died Friday, Aug. 20, at the Kavanagh House in Des Moines.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Pursel-Davis Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will follow services in the Liscomb Cemetery in Liscomb.
