BLOOMFIELD - Makenzie Lee Waterbeck was stillborn Aug. 20, 2004, at Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City.
She is survived by her parents, Jerome and Kari Minnick Waterbeck of Cherokee; a brother, Jayden Waterbeck, and a sister, Taylor Waterbeck, both of Cherokee; grandparents, Roger and Lana Minnick of Bloomfield, Jerry and Anne Waterbeck of Marshalltown, and Paul and Deanna Adams of Marshalltown; and great-grandparents, J.D. Graves of Bloomfield, Frank Waterbeck of Toledo, and Marie Robertson of Marshalltown.
Services and burial will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the IOOF Cemetery in Bloomfield, with the Rev. Phil Griffith officiating.
Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
Roxie T. Pearson, 95
GRINNELL - Roxie T. Pearson, 95, of Grinnell and formerly of Gilman died on Saturday, Aug. 21, 2004, at St. Francis Manor in Grinnell.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Smith Funeral Home in Grinnell with the Rev. Jeff Maskevich, pastor of the Newburg-Chester Congregational Church officiating. Pianist and flutist will be Melinda Connon.
Casket bearers will be Edwin Gooch, David and Joseph Kalkwarf, Todd Pearson, James Schmidt and Ronald Williams. Interment will be in the Prairie View Cemetery in Gilman.
Friends may call at the funeral home beginning noon on Tuesday, and the family will be present at the funeral home from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday.
Memorials may be directed to Grinnell Regional Hospice.
Survivors include her children and their spouses, Thomas E. and Sandra Pearson of Chicago, Ill., and Dawn E. and Gerry Kalkwarf of Colorado Springs, Colo.; six grandchildren; and one brother, Corvan F. Gooch of Norwalk, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1986; her daughter, Linda Pearson; one sister, Ida Heisel; and two brothers, Delmar and Oddry Gooch.
Virginia Neuroth, 91
CONRAD - Virginia Neuroth, 91, of Conrad died of natural causes Saturday, Aug. 21, 2004, at Oakview Nursing Home in Conrad.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Marshalltown, with the Rev. Bernie Grady officiating. Burial will be in the Conrad Cemetery in Conrad.
A visitation will be at the Johnston Funeral Home in Conrad Tuesday from 2 to 8 p.m., with a scripture service at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. A memorial fund is being established.
She is survived by two daughters, Marjorie (Kent) Higgins of Conrad and Marylee (Mike) Kelly of Des Moines; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Alice M. Wilcox, 96
Funeral services for Alice M. Wilcox, 96, were held Tuesday afternoon at the Estel Perrin Avey Chapel, with Pastor Karen Cluts officiating. Interment followed in Riverside Cemetery.
Casket bearers were Joel McKibben, Jon McKibben, James McKibben, Tom HalI, David Boldt, Mark Boldt, Dylan McKeever, Nathan Jordebrek, Austin Boyd, Chad Hickson, Jeff Norton, Brad Norton and Justin Jordebrek.

Floyd Zednichek, 88
Floyd Zednichek, 88, formerly of 801 E. South St., Marshalltown, currently residing at the Grandview Heights Care Center, died there Monday, Aug. 9, 2004.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the Pursel Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in Marshalltown, with Pastor Scott Lothe officiating. Burial will follow services at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Floyd was preceded in death by his wife Rose in April of 2002; his parents; his sister Gladys Wheater; and his brothers, Fred, Bob and George.

Delmar Bogenrief, 80, of 1506 E. Nevada St., died April 1, 2006, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. The Bogenrief family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff of Iowa Veterans Home for making their dad feel so welcome and at home with them, and also for the staff at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines for their care and concern. Their dad also had a special roommate, Marlin, whom the family would like to thank for being so kind to their dad.
