Doug Neitzel, 35, of 1102 S. 12th Ave., Marshalltown, died Saturday, Feb. 7, 2004, at Marshalltown Medical and Surgical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday at the Fellowship Baptist Church in Marshalltown. Interment will follow services in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Tama. F. Irene Chekal Werden, 67, of North Little Rock, Ark., formerly of Belle Plaine and Marshalltown, died Sunday, Feb. 8, 2004, at Mercy Hospital, Cedar Rapids, of cancer
Funeral services will be Wednesday at the Hrabak Funeral Home in Belle Plaine. Burial will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Marshalltown.
She is survived by her children, Vicki (Rod) Blount, John (Lorie) Chekal, and Jody (Tina) Chekal, all of Belle Plaine, and Kathi (JR) Martin of Luzerne; seven grandchildren; and two sisters,
Barbara Freeman and Mary Daugherty, both of Marshalltown.

David Brennecke, 71
Memorial services for David Brennecke, 71, of Marshalltown, who died at his home, will be 2 p.m. Monday at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Dick Speight officiating. There will be a visitation at the church ftom 11 a.m. Monday until service time with a lunch from 12 to 1:30 p.m. Private family burial services will precede the visitation. A memorial fund is being established. The Estel Perrin Avey Funeral Home is handling arrangements for the Brennecke family.
Surviving are three sons David (Deanna) Brennecke and their children Nathan, Ryan and Michael (Amanda) of Lineville; Larry (Pam) Brennecke and their children Griffin and Grace of Marion and Kurt (Rhonda) Brennecke and their children Morgan and Nicholas of Grinnell; two daughters Denise (David) Shantz and their daughter Allison of Stephens Point, Wis., and Linda Brennecke and her children Carley, Julian and Ian of Spring, Texas; two brothers Frank Brennecke of Ackley and Karl (Mary) Brennecke of Delta, Colo.; a sister Doris Coppes of Yarmouth; and grandchildren Makayla and Dylan of Lineville.

TACOMA, Wash. - Evalyne Amelia Rohde Williams, 87, died Feb. 8, 2006, at Park Rose Care Center in Tacoma, Wash., of complications from congenital heart failure.

She is survived by her step daughter Jean (Sandy) Massei of Lakewood, Wash.; her brother Fred J. (Lois) Rohde of Alexandria, Minn.; her sisters Velma (Robert) Gunderson of Marshalltown and Arlene (Delmar) Ford of Brooklyn; a sister in law Ronda (Leroy) Rohde of Marshalltown; four nieces; and nine nephews.
Harold Sheets, 63
MCALLEN, Texas - Harold Sheets, 63, went to be with the Lord Feb. 7, 2006, while wintering in McAllen, Texas.
Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church in Marshalltown. Kreidler Funeral Home, Inc. in McAllen is caring for Harold and his family.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 32 years Donna Sheets; seven children Terry (Ron) Van Pelt, Steve (Tanya) Sheets, Tami (Rob) Kerwood, Becky (Bob) Zapata, Peggy (Don) Wallace, Mike Sheets and Patricia Sheets; he will also be missed deeply by 17 grandchildren, his sister Enid (Budd) Keller; and Donna's parents Gordon and Norma Yeager.
Keith H. Biersborn, 69
UNION - Keith Biersborn, 69, a lifelong resident of Union, died Feb. 9, 2006 at Israel Family Hospice House in Ames, under the care of his family.
Funeral services and a celebration of his life will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Union Community Church . Internment will follow services in the Union Cemetery, Union. Friends may call for visitation on Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Biersborn Funeral Home in Union and on Tuesday from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Union Community Church. The family will be present to greet friends at both visitations. A memorial fund has been established in Keith's name for the Union Community Church or Iowa River Hospice. The Biersborn Funeral Home of Union is caring for Keith and his family.
Keith is survived by his wife of 39 years Mary Lou Biersborn of Union; a sister Kathy (Randy) Priddy of Belews Creek, N.C.; two nieces Keri Peevey and Jami Jarrett; two great nieces and two step great nieces.
Verna Ladehoff, 97
GLADBROOK - Funeral services for Verna Ladehoff, 97, of Gladbrook, were held Saturday morning at the Peace United Church of Christ in Gladbrook with Pastor Robert Doner officiating. Burial followed in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Jeremy Harms, David Harms, Brian Thompson, David Ladehoff, John Harger and Mike DeVenney.
There was a group in attendance representing the Senior Women's Fellowship of the church.
The Goettsch Perrin Funeral Home handled arrangements for the Ladehoff family.

LEGRAND - Ethel Turbett, 86, of LeGrand passed away after a lengthy illness on Feb. 9, 2006, at Marshalltown Medical & Surgical with family at her side.
Funeral services and a celebration of her life will be 2 p.m. Monday at the LeGrand Friends Church with Pastor Mullikin officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
Survivors include three brothers, Luther (Jean) Rhodes of Newton, Raymond Rhodes of LeGrand and Oscar (Rita) Rhodes of LeGrand; several nieces; several nephews; special great nephews Tyler and Zach Stahlin of Marshalltown; and special great niece Leah Stahlin of Marshalltown.

Joe Karl Sr., 81, of 409 E. South St., died Jan. 19, 2005 at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames.

Survivors include a son Gerald (Joan) Peters of Conrad and a daughter Kathy (Joel) Goettsch of Marshalltown, as well as four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

ELDORA - Joseph H. Conrad, 77, of 1510 22nd Street, Eldora, died Dec. 30, 2004 at Ellsworth Municipal Hospital in Iowa Falls.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the Honey Creek-New Providence Friends Church in New Providence. Burial will be in the New Providence Cemetery. A visitation is scheduled on Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Biersborn Funeral Home in Union where the family present at that time.
