Allie Plude, 84, a resident of the Iowa Veterans Home, died Nov. 14, 2006, at Marshalltown Medical & Surgical Center.

CLUTIER - Vivian O. Schelker, 61, of Clutier, died Nov. 15, 2006, at Marshalltown Medical & Surgical Center.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Tama. Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama.
Survivors include one son Bill Schelker of Clutier; one daughter Kim Rice of Toledo; two grandsons; and one brother John Henderson of Minneapolis, Minn.
Betty L. Plaehn, 77
REINBECK - Betty L. Plaehn, 77, of Reinbeck, died Nov. 15, 2006, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home in Waterloo.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church of Reinbeck. Burial will follow at Reinbeck Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 8 p.m., with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. at French Hand Funeral Home in Reinbeck.
Surviving relatives include her husband Kenneth of Reinbeck; one daughter Carole (Mike) Toyne of Swisher; three sons Curtis (Cindy) Plaehn of Gladbrook, Calvin Plaehn of Reinbeck and Thomas Plaehn of Dike; four grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters.
Imogene Hines, 71
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - Imogene “Jean” Hines, 71, of New Bloomfield, Mo., formerly of Marshalltown, died Nov. 10, 2006, at the Golden Living Center in Jefferson City, Mo.
Visitation was Tuesday at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors – Jefferson City Chapel. Funeral services followed visitation at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with Rev. Don Munford officiating. Interment will be held in St. Anthony Cemetery in St. Anthony, Iowa. Expressions of sympathy may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. She is survived by many who love and will miss her.

TAMA - Isabelle May Kouba, 92, of Tama, died Nov. 15, 2006, at Grinnell Regional Medical Center.
Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Living Faith United Methodist Church in Tama, with Pastor Jerry Avise-Rouse officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Tama. Lauren Peak, 66
Lauren “Shorty” Peak, 66, of Marshalltown, died Nov. 12, 2006, at the Iowa Veterans Home.
Funeral services and a celebration of Shorty’s life will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Iowa Veterans Home Chapel. Full military honors will be provided by the Harry C. Harter Post #839 of the VFW. Following cremation rites, he will be buried at Liscomb Cemetery at a later date. Friends may call at the IVH Chapel from noon until the time of service on Saturday. JEFFERSON - John Clark, 79, of Jefferson, died Nov. 12, 200, at Greene County Medical Center in Jefferson.
He has donated his body to the University Of Iowa Department of Anatomy. A Celebration of Life will be 11 a.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church in Jefferson. On Thursday a Masonic Service will be at 6:30 p.m. at Slininger-Rossow Funeral Home in Jefferson, followed by visitation with the family from 7 to 8:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to The Webb House, Greene County Medical Center Foundation or First United Methodist Church in Jefferson.
Survivors include his wife Lois Clark of Jefferson; two sons Dale (Shari) Clark of Reno, Nev. and Dr. David (Valerie) Clark of Marshalltown; one sister Dorthe Flick of Clinton; and four grandchildren.

GARWIN - Betty B. Breckel, 81, formerly of Garwin, died Nov. 12, 2006, at Sunny Hill Care Center in Tama.
Funeral services and a celebration of her life will be 11 a.m. Friday at Pursel-Davis Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment will follow in Rock Valley Cemetery, east of Marshalltown. Kim Marie E. Stevenson, 42
Kim Marie E. Stevenson, 42, of 202 N. Second Ave., #26, died Nov. 15, 2006, at her home of natural causes.
Funeral services and a celebration of her life will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Mitchell Family Funeral Home, with Fr. Jim Miller of St. Mary Catholic Church officiating. Following services there will be a time of fellowship and refreshments in the hospitality room of the funeral home. Cremation rites will follow. Born on Veterans Day of 1964 (Nov. 11), in Minneapolis, Minn., she was the daughter of Jean Marie (Hellendrung) Iverson. She received her education in Green Mountain, LDF and graduated from Marshalltown High School in 1983. Kim Marie was united in marriage three times and had been employed as a waitress and a CNA at Villa del Sol, Grandview Heights and Marshall County Care Facility.
Left to celebrate her life are her two daughters Nicole (formerly McBride) Hopkins (Tim Brewer) and their son Connor Brewer, all of Marshalltown, and LaChelle McBride (Matthew Wisecup) of Marshalltown; her mother Jean Marie Iverson of Dubuque and her companion LaVerne Rehder of Union; her brother David G. Iverson of Union and his companion Lois Kriegel of Whitten; three uncles Bob (Jan) Hellendrung of Edgerton, Wis., Richard (Sandy) Hellendrung of Fairfax, Minn. and Don (Jan) Hellendrung of New Ulm, Minn.; Steven Potter of Marshalltown; several cousins and a host of friends.
In death she has rejoined her grandparents.

HUBBARD - Marie Neubauer, 89, of Hubbard, died Nov. 17, 2006, at Hubbard Care Center in Hubbard.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Hubbard with Rev. Matthew W. Rueger officiating. She will be buried in Hubbard Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Boeke Funeral Home in Hubbard on Monday from 6-8 p.m.

RAYMONDVILLE, Mo. - Earl E. Anthony, 87, of Raymondville, Mo. and formerly of Grinnell died Nov. 18, 2006, at Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston, Mo.

He is survived by one son Dale Anthony of Indianola; one daughter Beth Thomas of Raymondville, Mo.; and three brothers Carl Anthony and Clifford Anthony, both of Brooklyn and Floyd Anthony of Belle Plaine.

Survivors include his wife Patricia of Garland, Texas; two sons Dennis L. (Carol) Walton of Montour and Michael John (Heather) Bacino of Des Moines; three daughters Mary Kathleen “Kathy” Bacino of Garland, Texas, Biagina Louise “Gina” (Ted) Sharer of Boone, and Laura Lee (Brett) Houghton of Brooklyn; twelve grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and one sister Sally Bacino of Rogers, Ark.
