Dixie L. Cejka, 65, of Cedar Rapids, died June 25, 2011 in her home following a sudden illness. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 28, 2011, at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Surviving are her children, Dan Perrin and wife Terri of Center Point, Mike Perrin and wife Melissa of Anamosa, Travis Cejka and Heidi Sauer and husband Pete all of Cedar Rapids; her mother, Helen Irene Perrin; sisters, Mary Jones, Patricia Pierce, Deborah Whitting and Kelly (Mark) Homewood; and one brother, David Perrin. She is also survived by her 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, and her former husband David Cejka.
She was preceded in death by her father, Junior, and her sister, Gerri Titus.
Dixie Lee Cejka was born March 22, 1946 in Cedar Rapids the daughter of Junior and Helen I. (Blozvich) Perrin. She spent much of her life working in her home and caring for her children. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be greatly missed by all.
A memorial fund has been established.

Mary Pauline Cramer, 96, of Cedar Rapids, passed away August 6, 2011 surrounded by her loved ones. Funeral services: 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 8, 2011 at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. Graveside services: 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Rock Island Memorial Park in Rock Island, Illinois.
She is survived by her brother, Keith Hiller of Redmond, WA; sister, Kathryn Justice of Robins, Iowa; grandchildren, Debbie Lynn (Harvey) Fox, Mark Bowling, Keith (Rebecca) Bowling, Mike (Shelley) Cotter and Tish Stoelzing; eight great grandchildren; and many loved nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, LaVerne and Lillie Hiller; brother, Martin Hiller; husband, Keith; and daughter, Judy.
Mary Pauline was born June 11, 1915 east of Wapello, Iowa. She graduated from Wapello High School and attended Coe College in Cedar Rapids. She was united in marriage to Keith J. Cramer June 9, 1940 in the home of her parents in Grandview, Iowa. She worked for Peterson-Harned-Von Maur. She was a former member of the German United Methodist Church in Wapello. She enjoyed sewing, was active in 4-H and was a prolific letter writer.
All who knew Mary Pauline will remember her wonderful smile and sense of humor.

LoRee M. Clark

LoRee M. Clark, 96, of Northbrook Manor died there on Monday October 17, 2011 after a long illness. Services at 11:00 AM on Thursday at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Burial at the Oakwood Cemetery in Monticello. Friends may call at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home from 4 to 6 PM Wednesday.
Survivors include her son Harold of Hiawatha; four grandchildren, Brian, Jennifer, Richard, and Russell; four great grandchildren, Nathan, Jason, Lisa and Allison and one great great grandchild Noah. She was preceded in death by her husband, a son Dale, two brothers, Donald and Paul and one sister Grace.
LoRee was born on August 6, 1915 in Hopkinton, the daughter of Newell and Hazel Hogg Gillilan. She Married Dale S. Clark in Galena, Illinois. He died in 1962. LoRee worked Armstrong’s Dept. Store and later at Me Too Grocery Store where she retired after many years of service.
LoRee enjoyed quilting and especially the time she spent with her beloved family and friends.

Kay Lorraine Cairns

Kay L. Cairns, 65, of Cedar Rapids, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, October 19, 2011 surrounded by her family, at home, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Memorial Service: 11:00 am Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at the Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories with the Pastor John Seitz officiating. A memorial gathering will be held on Monday from 5-8 pm at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.
She is survived by her husband, Bill; Children, Jeffrey Cairns (Marcia Larson), Robin (Patrick) Vanderlind and Bradley (Kim) Cairns, all of Cedar Rapids; Grandchildren, Morgan and Spencer Vanderlind, Ryan and Miranda Cairns, Emily and Marissa Cairns and Hannah McMurrin; Mother, Gladys Hurtt of Centerville, IA; Brother, Jimmy (Diann) Hurtt of Robins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jesse Hurtt.
Kay Lorraine Hurtt was born December 20, 1945 in Fort Riley, Kansas, the daughter of Jesse and Gladys (Thomas) Hurtt. On December 31, 1961 she married
her teenage sweetheart William Roger Cairns in Lancaster, Missouri. They were blessed with over 50 wonderful years together. Kay worked at Connectronics since 1992. She enjoyed gardening, decorating and most of all, being with family and friends. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
The family would like to thank the staff of Mercy Hospice for their compassionate care which allowed them to care for Kay in her home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent in Kay’s name to Mercy Hospice, 315 18th Ave, Hiawatha, IA 52233.
Alice Ann Craig

Alice Ann Craig, 80, of Living Center West died there on Friday October 21, 2011 of cancer. Private family inurnment service in the Cedar Memorial Park Mausoleum Columbarium. Friends may call at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral home from 4 to 7 PM on Wednesday.
Survivors include her husband, Richard; two daughters Jennifer (Dan) Sparks of Cedar Rapids and Jean (John) Bjorseth of Hiawatha; a sister Mary Fuller of Manchester; four grandchildren, Cory (Casie) Sparks, Stacey (Scott) Weiss and Erik (Karen) Bjorseth all of Hiawatha and Craig (Lacey) Bjorseth of Cedar Falls; eight great grandchildren, Taylor, Mandy and Matthew Weiss, Skyler and Gunner Sparks and Lucas, Tyler and Evan Bjorseth. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Vera and Wilma.
Alice was born on June 13, 1931 in Central City, the daughter of Eugene and Edna Dunn Drexler. She married
Richard L. Craig on February 14, 1955 in Central City. Alice worked at Rockwell-Collins and retired from there after many years of service.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church-Church of the Brethren. Alice enjoyed cooking, gardening and especially the time she spent with her beloved family and friends. She was a wonderful, caring person who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Memorial donations may be given to Hospice of Mercy or the charity of the donor’s choice.

Betty M. Cassaday, 88, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died at the Solon Care Center, Saturday, October 29, 2011. Services: 1 p.m. Tuesday at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Entombment: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Survivors include her children, Dr. Donald (Sydney) Cassaday of Hemet, CA, Susan Medberry of Cedar Rapids, and Jill Cassaday of Iowa City; brother, Murray (Phyllis) Turnbull of Honolulu, HI; grandchildren, Evan (Erin) Cassaday, Brenna (John) Urrutia, Michael Cassaday, and Kristy (Eric) Foelske; and three great grandchildren, Noah, Leah, and Kannon. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; three grandsons, Sean and Ryan Cassaday, and Nicholas Medberry; and a son-in-law, Keith Medberry.
Betty was born February 14, 1923 in Sibley to John and Zola Turnbull. She married
Donald Cassaday in Denison on May 2, 1944 while he was serving in the United States Army. Betty worked for many years at First Trust and Savings Bank. After retiring, she worked for Lens Crafters. She was a member of First Lutheran Church.
Betty loved her family, her friends, and all animals, most particularly cats and dogs. She was much loved and will be deeply missed.
