Ornetta F. Donnan, 89, of the Hiawatha Care Center in Hiawatha died Wednesday Dec. 3, 2008 after a short illness.
Services at 1:00 PM on Monday at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories.
Burial at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home from 2 to 4 PM on Sunday.
Survivors include two daughters, Kathleen (John) Dolezal of Cedar Rapids, Delores Donnan of Hillsborough, New Jersey and a son, David (Sandi) of Anamosa.
She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and a sister-in-law, Dorothy Herrington of Cedar Rapids.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Ondrus.
Ornetta was born on Dec. 15, 1918 in Marion daughter of Michael and Minnie Romal Reinheimer.
She married
Donald S. Donnan on Feb. 7, 1940 in Kahoka, Missouri.
He died in 1999. Ornetta was in sales at Iowa Electric Light and Power Co. for 22 years, retiring in 1981.
She was a life long member of the First Presbyterian Church in Marion and Eastern Star.
She enjoyed reading, needlework and especially time spent with her friends and beloved family.
A memorial fund has been established in Ornetta’s name.

Jeffrey “Lumpie” Davison, 37, of 643 18th Ave S.W. died Wednesday November 12, 2008 in Mercy Medical Center following a short illness.
Funeral Mass: 10:00 a.m. Saturday at St. Ludmila’s Catholic Church by the Rev. Thomas McDermott.
Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be today from 4-8 p.m. at Cedar Memorial Westside Chapel, where a vigil service will begin at 5:00 p.m.
Survivors include his wife Tracy Davison, two sons, Tyler and Tanner Davison, two daughters, Peyton and Parker Davison, his mother, Becky Jo Bell of Las Vegas, Nevada,, his siblings, Janeen (Mark) Rambo of Las Vegas, Nevada, Shawn (Carolyn) Bell of Apple Valley, California, Joey (Carmen) Bell of Marion, and Mark (Aimee) Bell of Ely, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Russell Davison, Brother, Shane Harty, a sister, Lisa Bell, step father, Lloyd D. Bell and grandparents, Grama Heck, Cecil and Hazel Zimmerman.
Jeffrey was born February 8, 1971 in Upland, California, the son of Russell and Becky Jo Bell Davison.
He married
Tracy Folkers on September 14, 1996 in Cedar Rapids.
Jeffrey was an entertainment promoter and a member of St. Ludmila’s Catholic Church.
He loved live music, MMA Fighting, and the Chicago Bears.
His favorite was the time he spent with his family.
A memorial fund has been established at the Walker State Bank, Walker, for his children.

Iris Aileen Dawson, 73, of 1425 Country Club Drive, Marion, died Saturday November 1, 2008 in the Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy following a long illness.
Services: 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories by Mercy Hospice Chaplain Joe Kane.
Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home and after 12:00 p.m. at the chapel on Wednesday.
Survivors include her children, Jennifer Anhalt of Yelm, Washington, Douglas Dawson and special friend, Janelle of Cedar Rapids, Kristin Dawson and special friend Gary of Marion, Julia Meaker (Mark) of Centralia, Washington, her twin sister, Phyllis Boon (Bill) of Ames, Dee Keating (Bernard) of Cedar Rapids, Lois Zimmerman of Cedar Rapids, William Soupene (Macey) of Anamosa and James Soupene (Thelma) of St. George, Kansas.
Also surviving are four grandchildren and two great grandchildren, Sylvan Dawson of Cedar Rapids, and friend, Don Carr, of Ottawa, Kansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Daniel Dawson.
Iris was born November 6, 1934 in Manhattan, Kansas, the daughter of Orville and Velma Abernathy Soupene.
She married
Sylvan Dawson and later divorced. Iris was employed at Rockwell Collins.
She enjoyed crossword puzzles, cooking, playing bridge and gardening.
She was a firm believer in Jesus Christ.
She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
A memorial fund has been established by the family.

Matthew Christin Dias, 24, of Cedar Rapids, died Friday, October 24, 2008 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin from complications with his genetic disorder, EDS.
He was born in Arlington, Texas on May 2, 1984.
He attended school in Cedar Rapids at Taylor Elementary, Erskine Elementary, Roosevelt Middle School and graduated from CR Washington High School in 2002.
Visitation and Video Remembrance will be from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Saturday at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home with a 11:30 a.m. Funeral Mass at All Saints Catholic Church.
Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Matthew is survived by his parents, Dan and Mary Dias of Cedar Rapids, three brothers, Gerald Dias (Rick Zawlocki) of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Michael Dias of Cherokee, Iowa, and Marshall Dias (Sarah) of Ottumwa, Iowa and paternal grandmother, Yvonne (NaNa) Nemett of Cleburne, Texas.
Other survivors include nephew and niece, Cody and Mattieson Dias of Marcus, Iowa and his uncle, Robert Weadon (Sara Beth) and aunt, Celeste Hobbs (Troy), all of Cleburne, Texas.
Preceding him in death are his maternal grandparents, T.P. and Velma Bowie, paternal grandfather, Louis M. Dias and his uncle and aunt, Richard and Penny Weadon.

Ronald Clair Dake, 60, of 254 North Pointe Dr. NE, died Sunday, June 1, 2008, at St. Luke's Hospital following a long illness.

Survivors include his children, Danielle Jacob Miller, Jennifer John LeGrand, and Ronnie Dake, and his mother Dorothy Rozinek all of Cedar Rapids, a sister Rosalyn Jim Welch of Plano, Texas, five grandchildren, Gabrielle, Elijah, Noah, and Dallis Miller, and Nicole LeGrand, and a special niece Heather Tim Culpepper. He was preceded in death by his father Darrell Dake, a sister Diane Streeper, and grandparents, Wilmer Dake, Madeline Cilvick, Anton and Lottie Voracek Sr.
Ron was born April 14, 1948 in Cedar Rapids to Darrell and Dorothy Voracek Dake.
He worked as a contractor for D & N Fence Company.
Ron enjoyed his Porsche, boating, Jet skiing, playing and watching sports, and spending time with his family and friends.
A memorial fund has been established in Ron's name.
