Debra S. Kula, 55, of Cedar Rapids, died December 14, 2007 at St. Luke's Hospital following a lengthy illness. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, on Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Friends may call from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Monday, December 17, 2007 at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. Private Interment will take place at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Survivors include her daughters Amy Kuper of Scotch Grove and Kim John Havlicek of Hiawatha; her parents Edgar and Gladys Snow of Cedar Rapids; a brother Steven Cindi Snow of Cedar Rapids; grandchildren Tyler and Brayden Kuper; and childhood friend Kaye Hennessy of Cedar Rapids.
Debra Sharon Kula was born June 6, 1952 the beloved daughter of Edgar B. Jr. and Gladys L. Ryan Snow in San Diego, California. She was an avid reader, greatly enjoyed craftwork, and the light of her life were her two grandsons. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and friend, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Eva Mae Kulish, 66, of Cedar Rapids died Thursday Feb. 28, 2008 at her home of cancer. A celebration on life and memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 8th at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home where friends may call after 10:30 AM on Saturday. Rev. Jonathan Offt will officiate.
Left to honor her memory are two daughters, Kimberly Schulte and Kelle Syndergaard both of Cedar Rapids, seven sisters, Mollie Lantz of Delafield, Wisconsin, Donna Scarborough of Shelbyville, Tennessee, Florence Cousins of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Darlene Neith of Wisconsin, Wanda White of Palo, Mary Hofer of Strongsville, Ohio, Alice Hofer of Mesquite, Texas and a brother, Dean Hofer of Amana. She is also survived by her beloved granddaughter, Gracie Syndergaard and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister, Beulah Hanson and a brother, Louis Hofer.
Eva was born on Dec. 18, 1941 in Elgin, the daughter of Clarence and Bessie Voshell Hofer. She married
her husband of 42 years, Frank K. Kulish Jr. on Oct. 1, 1962 in Cedar Rapids. He died in 2005.
Eva worked at HyVee as a bakery manager for numerous years and later shared her private recipes with Nancy's Pies in the Quad Cities. Eva enjoyed gourmet cooking, canning, gardening, spending time with her many friends, family and especially taking care of her granddaughter, Gracie. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. C. Lucille Kustes, 91, of Marion, died February 28, 2008 at St. Luke's Hospital following a short illness. Survivors include her daughter Linda Pavelka and husband Tony of Anamosa; grandson Sean Jensen and Annie Juve of Columbia, MO; granddaughter Angela Beik and husband Aaron of Marion; and great grandchildren Makayla and Miranda Beik, and Alexander and Kale Jensen.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
C. Lucille Kustes was born October 4, 1916 in Jones County, Iowa the beloved daughter of William and Anna Sanford Scheele. She graduated from Monticello High School in 1935, and then attended Business College in Clinton, Iowa. She married
Vincent F. Kustes on June 17, 1938. They were later divorced, and he preceded her in death. She was employed at Collins Radio for 23 years in the printing department. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Marion. Above all her greatest enjoyment in life was her time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family requests memorial donations in Lucille's honor are made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, 915 27th St. Marion, Iowa.

Survivors include her daughter, Stephanie Koecke of Cedar Rapids; 2 brothers, Robert and Steve Kalous both of Cedar Rapids; and 1 sister, Rose Kalous of Iowa City.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Brian Kalous; 1 brother, Larry; 2 sisters, Pat and Carol.
Connie Jean Koecke was born November 28, 1949 to Lawrence and Eva Robinson Kalous in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She married
Stephen Koecke on August 6, 1977 in Dubuque. They later divorced, but remained good friends. Connie enjoyed shopping, traveling, fishing, and camping. One of her favorite shows was Gunsmoke. She made many friends while being a waitress and bartender.

Doren Eugene Kuster, 55, of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, June 1, in the loving arms of his wife and children, in his home, after fighting brain cancer for two years. The family will celebrate Doren's life at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 4, from 4 to 8 p.m. and a funeral mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Marion on Thursday, June 5, at 11:00 a.m. with luncheon to follow. Burial at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Doren was born and raised in Burlington, Iowa, by his parents Zach and Jeanette Kuster. He was the youngest of ten children, in a loving and wonderful family. His childhood included great times with friends, sports, music, and days spent exploring by the Mississippi River. He graduated from Burlington High School and from the University of Iowa. He was married
to Linda Ann Bernauer on September 2, 1979.
Doren had a successful professional career in sales and management with Certain-Teed Daymond, Advanced Drainage Systems, and his own business, Corridor Sales Consultants. He was a natural born salesman, backed by integrity, a strong work ethic, and a smart business sense.
Doren had many loves in his life, the most important being his relationships with God, his family and friends. He enjoyed so much that life offers: music, tennis, following sports especially the Hawkeyes, Cubs, and Bears, theatre, traveling, reading, dancing, good food, and an occasional black and tan at the Irish Democrat. He had a beautiful singing voice, could tell a great joke, was interested in the world and was a strong, persevering, thoughtful and caring person. Doren could light up a room, truly loved life and did his best to be a good person and follower of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Linda, and children; Jacqueline J Kuster, Cedar Rapids, and Daniel Doren and John Paul, at home. He is also survived by his four brothers; Dwight Gerry Kuster, Tom Jeannie Kuster, Dean Sherry Kuster, and Dennis Joyce Kuster, and five sisters; Mary Levins, Sandra Mike Finnegan, Karen Larry Eickmann, Jan Frank Hennenfent, and Deborah Jim Eastburn. He is mourned by his father-in-law, Norbert Bernauer, his wife's family, Maribeth Hill, Michael and Leona Bernauer, and Sharon and Bill Bryers, and family friend Bonnie Duane Werning. His extended family is filled with people he loved, including 36 nieces and nephews, especially his nephew and friend, Dwight Kuster, Jr. Ellen. Doren will also be missed by many good friends, some lifelong, others came more recently into his life.
Doren was preceded in death by his parents, Zach and Jeanette Kuster, his mother-in-law, Juanita Bernauer, his brother-in-laws Pat Levins and Michael Hill, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family wants to express its deepest gratitude for the support and love extended by so many people over the last two years, including Dr. Carlisle and the staff at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics, Dr. Mary Ann Nelson, Duke Medical Center, Mercy Hospital and Hospice, and St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Kathrine E. Kloubec Koch 59, of 2630 Union Dr. SW, died Friday, June 13, 2008, in her home following a sudden illness. Services at 1 PM Wednesday in Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Rev. William Harnish will officiate. Burial in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home from 5 to 8 PM on Tuesday and at the chapel after 12:30 PM on Wednesday.
Survivors include her sister Karol Tefer, and brother John Ray Kloubec Jr. both of Cedar Rapids, and her pet German Shepherd Jonna. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Kathrine was born June 9, 1949, in Cedar Rapids to Raymond J. and Bernadine E. Ahrens Kloubec Sr.
Kathrine was a secretary for Sunline Auto Salvage Company in Cedar Rapids for over 31 years. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
