Verna P. Osborne, 87, of Marion, died November 2, 2007 at Northbrook Manor Care Center following an extended illness. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM, Monday, November 5, 2007, at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Friends may call at the chapel after 12:00 PM on Monday. Interment will be held at Cedar Memorial Park cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Survivors include her son Gary Osborne and wife Patricia of Marion; her daughter Evelyn O'Kelly of Iowa City; 4 Grandchildren; 4 Great-Grandchildren; and her brother Robert Bride and wife Beulah of Waterloo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her sister Pauline Osborne, and brothers Stanley Bride and Donald Bride.
Verna Pearl Osborne was born September 14, 1920 in rural Davis County, Iowa to Jesse and Daisy Salter Bride. She married
Lee Osborne on October 26, 1937 in Bloomfield, Iowa. They farmed for several years in Davis County and had two children: a son Gary and a daughter, Evelyn. In 1956 they moved to Cedar Rapids where Verna worked at Rockwell Collins. In 1978, Lee and Verna retired and moved to Bella Vista, AR. After Lee passed away, Verna moved to Marion, Iowa. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Marion, and the United Methodist Women. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed caring for her flowers.

Charles F. Ormiston, 61, of Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday March 20, 2012. Memorial services: 11:00 a.m. Monday at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories, where visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Burial: Private at Cedar Memorial Park cemetery.
Survivors include his mother, Mildred K. Ormiston of Cedar Rapids, three brothers; Ken D. Ormiston of Vinton, Dean R. (Hope) Ormiston, Maynard C. Ormiston, and a sister; Carol K. Ormiston all of Cedar Rapids and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Francis C. Ormiston.
Charles was born January 31, 1952 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Francis and Mildred Pexa Ormiston. Charles retired from Whirlpool in Amana after 34 years of service. He served in the Navy during Viet Nam. Charles had a cabin on the Wapsipinicon River. He loved fishing, boating, riding motorcycles and country westerns. Charles also enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Myrtle I. Ozburn, 89, of Marion, died December 1, 2007 at St. Luke's Hospital following an extended illness. Funeral Services 1:00 PM, Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Rev. William B. Harnish will officiate. Friends may call at the Chapel after 12:00 PM on Tuesday. Interment: Cedar Memorial Park cemetery.
Survivors include a son Reginald Eberle and wife Veronica, a daughter JoAnn Bleadorn and husband Dean, and a step daughter Sharon Grundy and husband Bill all of Marion; sister Vivian Park of Cedar Rapids; brothers Don Ellison and wife Charlene of Anamosa, Orpha Ellison of Marion, Bill Ellison of Onslow, Walter Ellison and wife Dixie of Martell; 7 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Reginald L. Eberle, her second husband Jack D. Ozburn, daughter Sylvia Ozburn, grandson Mark Grundy, great grandson Andrew, and her brother George Ellison.
Myrtle Irene Ozburn was born January 4, 1918 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa the beloved daughter of Orpha C. and Bertha Coster Ellison. She was united in marriage to Jack D. Ozburn on April 19, 1947 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was employed for 29 years at Collins Radio as a machinist. She was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary. She enjoyed quilting, crossword puzzles, and over the last few years watching out her picture window and greeting all that passed by. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many and will be greatly missed by those whose life she touched.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Myrtle's honor may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Margaret M. Orman, 79, of Cedar Rapids, died May 14, 2007 in her home following an extended illness. Memorial Services 1:00 PM Friday, May 18, 2007 at Noelridge Christian Church. Rev. Douglas Miller will officiate. Friends may call Thursday, May 17, 2007 from 4 PM to 6 PM at Cedar Memorial Funeral Home. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
Survivors include her loving husband of 58 years Thomas E. Orman, Jr.; daughter Mary Lynn Johnson and husband Gene of Amana; son Thomas E Orman III and wife Selina of Des Moines; a sister Ruth Eulclaire of Mason City; and 8 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers Thomas J. and Wesley Manning.
Margaret Manning Orman was born September 26, 1927 in Des Moines, Iowa the beloved daughter of Judson Perry and Harriet Windburn Manning. She was united in marriage to Thomas E. Orman, Jr. on August 27, 1948 in Des Moines. She was employed for over 20 years for the City of Cedar Rapids as the Assistant Manager for Veteran's Memorial Coliseum. She was a member of Noelridge Christian Church, an Ambassador for the Cedar Rapids Chamber of Commerce and was named Volunteer of The Year, was the AWA Secretary, served on the Ladies Elk's Auxiliary, was a volunteer for many years giving tours of city hall in Cedar Rapids, and was involved with the Democratic Party. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend of many and will be greatly missed by those who love her.

Margaret Louise Pointer, 83, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Wed. May 15, 2002 at the home of her sister, in Ottumwa after a short illness. Services at 1 PM on Friday at the Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. Rev. Glen High will officiate. Burial at Cedar Memorial Park cemetery. Friends may call at the Cedar Memorial Funeral Home from 5 to 8 PM on Thursday and at the Chapel after Noon on Friday.
Survivors include a daughter, Deborah McNeal of Cedar Rapids and a sister, Betty Warner of Ottumwa. Also survived by two grandchildren, Jamie Butler and Jodi Anson, two great grandchildren, Dakota and Tanner Anson, nieces and nephews, David DeLano and his wife, Eva, Randy and Jackie DeLano, Steve Graham and his wife, Jan, Betty Lou Palmer and her husband, Jack and many friends. She was preceded in death by a niece, Cindy Graham.
Louise was born on April 15, 1919 in Kansas City, MO. the daughter of Thomas and Marie Teeter Burnaugh. She married
Eugene A. Pointer on May 1, 1950 in Moline, ILL. He died in 1971. Louise worked at Souvenir Inc. for 33 years, retiring in 1992. She was a member of St. James United Methodist Church and a member of the Deborah Circle there. A memorial fund has been established in Louise's name.

She was preceded in death by her father Clarence Seedorf.
Rosann was born September 9, 1938 in Marion, Iowa to Clarence and Ruth Lambert Seedorf. She married
Richard Long in 1954. They divorced. She married
Kermit E. Postier on November 16, 1963 in Denver, Colorado. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Marion, and attended the Alburnett United Methodist Church.

Santina Antionette Pusateri, 85, of 2719 Seely Avenue SE, died at her home surrounded by her loving family, Wednesday, January 7, 2004 after a long illness. Services: 10 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church by the Msgr. Karl Glovik. Burial: Mt. Calvary cemetery. Friends may call at the Cedar Memorial Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday where a rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. and a vigil service held at 7 p.m.
Survivors include two sisters, Mary Pusateri and Rose John Satariano, both of Cedar Rapids; two brothers, Joseph Pusateri of Cedar Rapids and Frank Pusateri of Hiawatha; many nieces, nephews; great nieces and nephews; and great great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Frances Scoloro Pusateri; two brothers, Marino and Anthony Pusateri, and a sister Prudence McEowen.
Born June 13, 1918 in Cedar Rapids, Santina worked at the family grocery store for many years and later provided child care in her home. Santina loved to cook and bake, especially bread and kolaches. She was famous for her spaghetti sauce. Even after losing her sight she loved to listen to the cooking show as well as Leo Greco. She was always an avid reader. Throughout her illness, Santina's faith fostered a loving and positive attitude. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
