Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Warner Chapel in Spencer. Burial will be in North Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. Sunday with the family present from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

EMMETSBURG, Iowa - Rebecca Lee Sampson, 51, of Emmetsburg, formerly of Spencer, Iowa, died Friday at Palo Alto County Hospital in Emmetsburg.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Church of Christ in Spencer. Visitation with the family present will be 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Warner Funeral Home in Spencer.

STORM LAKE, Iowa - Marjorie S. Gunnerson, 73, of Storm Lake died Friday, June 5, 1998, at her home.
Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Alta, Iowa. Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. today in Oak Hill Cemetery in Cherokee, Iowa. There will be no visitation. Barker Funeral Home of Alta is in charge of arrangements.

CORRECTIONVILLE, Iowa - Mary "Mamie" Jones, 103, of Pine Grove, Calif., formerly of Correctionville, died Thursday at a hospital in Jackson, Calif.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Good Hope Cemetery in Correctionville. There will be no visitation. Barker Funeral Home of Correctionville is in charge of the arrangements.

SERGEANT BLUFF - Robert T. "Bobby" Erickson Jr., 56, of Perry, Kan., formerly of Sergeant Bluff, died Sunday at his residence.
Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Perry American Legion Post 142. Burial will be in Newman-Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation with the family present will be 6:30 to 9 p.m. today at Barnett Funeral Home in Oskaloosa, Kan.

Ann Kurland, 94, of St. Petersburg, Fla., formerly of Sioux City, died Sunday at Fountain in Bocca Ciega Bay Nursing Home.
Due to weather conditions services were changed to 1 p.m. today at Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel. Burial will be in Independent Farane Cemetery. There will be no visitation.

Mary Ellen Simon, 73, of Sioux City died Monday at a Sioux City hospital.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 1 to 9 p.m. Thursday, with the family present 6:30 to 8 p.m. and a vigil service at 7 p.m., at Larkin Northside Funeral Home.
Ruth P. Rezin
Ruth P. Rezin, 76, of Sioux City died Monday, Feb. 22, 1999, at her residence following a lengthy illness.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Fri day at Anderson-Perasso Funeral Home, with the Rev. A.T. Washington officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Logan Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday, with the family present 7 to 9 p.m., at the funeral home.
Mrs. Rezin was born June 5, 1922, in Sioux City, the daughter of William H. and Bertha I. (Phelps) Windle. She attended Sioux City schools.
She married John Rezin on May 31, 1942, in South Sioux City. She was employed with Frank Pilley and Sons and then with Zenith-Wincharger during World War II.
Survivors include her husband; two sons and their wives, John C. and Patty of Rapid City, S.D., and Bruce E. and Pamela of Culver City, Calif.; two daughters, Ruth Ann and her husband, James Reilly, and Laura L. Rezin, all of Sioux City; three brothers and their wives, Charles and Dell Windles, John and Joanne Windle and Donald and Lorraine Windle, all of Sioux City; three sisters, Nellie Knudson, Barbara and her husband, Harold Curry and Wyotta Windle, all of Sioux City; a sister-in-law, Hermine Windle of Sioux City; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, James and William H. Windle; and four sisters, Rosabelle Engen, Mary Doohen, Ann Harris and Cora Carlson.
Bernice L. Remer
Bernice L. Remer, 90, of Wayne, Neb., formerly of Sioux City, died Tuesday; Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel.
Royce Dahlin
CENTERVILLE, S.D. - Royce Dahlin, 79, formerly of Centerville died Wednesday, Feb. 17, 1999, at Mission Hospital in Mission, Texas.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, March 19, in Black Hills National Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of Wass Funeral Home in Beresford.
Robert O. Kellen
REMSEN, Iowa - Robert O. Kellen, 79, of Remsen, died Monday, Feb. 22, 1999, at Floyd Valley Hospital in Le Mars, Iowa.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Remsen, with the Rev. Thomas Hart officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Thursday, with a parish rosary at 3 p.m., a vigil prayer service at 7:30 p.m. and a Knights of Columbus rosary at 8 p.m., all at Fisch Funeral Home in Remsen.
Mr. Kellen was born Sept. 21, 1919, in rural Alton, Iowa, the son of William F. and Anne (Mairose) Kellen. He was rasied and educated in the Alton area.
He married Gail Weiler on Aug. 21, 1943, in Muskogee, Okla. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He landed at Omaha Beach with the D-Day Invasion and fought in the Ardennes Forrest Battle and the Battle of the Bulge. His awards and decorations include Silver Star Medal and Meritorious Unit Award.
Following his discharge, the couple lived in Dubuque, Iowa, where he was employed with John Deere. In 1952, they moved to Remsen, where he was employed with Rusco Window Co. and Kellen Produce. He was later employed with Harkers in Orange City, Iowa, retiring in 1984. She died July 24, 1987.
He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and Remsen Lions Club.
Survivors include three daughters, Charlene and her husband, Fran Reckinger of St. Paul, Minn., Jane and her husband, Conrad Heider of Sioux City, and Rosanne Kellen of Des Moines; two sons and their wives, Jeff and Mary of Flemington, N.J., and Bill and Connie of Omaha, Neb.; 13 grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; five stepgreat-grandchildren; a sister, Dorothy Wanderscheid of Remsen; and four sisters-in-law, Marie and Marian Kellen, both of Remsen, Helen Kellen of Alton and Lavonne Kellen of Conroe, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, William Jr. in infancy, Stanley, Ray, Vernon and Victor; and five sisters, Florence Henrich, Lillian Gengler, Evelyn Harmon, Frances Wess and Esther Bohlke Gaffey.
Neil Beyer
SANBORN, Iowa - Cornelius "Neil" Beyer, 81, of Sanborn died Sunday, Feb. 21, 1999, at Northwest Iowa Health Center in Sheldon, Iowa.
Memorial services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at First Reformed Church in Sanborn, with the Rev. Thomas Hoogendoorn officiating. Burial will be at 12:30 p.m. Thursday in Roseland Cemetery, with military rites conducted by American Legion Earl T. Conway Post 318 of Sanborn. Visitation will be after noon today, with the family present 7 to 8 p.m., at Sanborn Funeral Home. Visitation will resume 9 a.m. to noon Thursday at the church.
Mr. Beyer was born March 24, 1917, in Melvin, Iowa, the son of Garret and Kate (Fenstra) Beyer. He was raised and educated in the Melvin area. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater.
He married Sylvia Vander Woude on Sept. 25, 1943, in Alamenda, Calif. The couple moved to the Sanborn area, where they farmed. They moved into Sanborn in 1981. She died Aug. 30, 1985. He continued to help on the farm.
He was a member of First Reformed Church, American Legion and USS PYRO Association. He served on the board of directors for Sanborn Co-op Grain, Sanborn Housing, Sanborn Savings Bank, Sanborn Development and Prairie View. He served as president on some of the boards.
Survivors include three children, Jenean Beyer of Huntington Beach, Calif., Galen and his wife, Nancy of Sanborn, and Jane Beyer and Ed Stannard of Thompson's Station, Tenn.; a sister, Grace Fonkert of Dawson, Minn.; and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Scott Petrich, Steve Schuver, Keith Van Meeteren, Todd Juber, Don Faas, Tim Griffin, Lyle Donkersloot and Lonnie Klever.

ROCKWELL CITY, Iowa - Glenn A. Morton, 55, of Lilburn, Ga., formerly of Rockwell City died Monday at Rockdale Hospital in Conyers, Ga.
