DENISON, Iowa - Charles David Knight, 72, of Denison died Monday at Crawford County Memorial Hospital in Denison.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Zion Lutheran Church in Denison. Burial will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3 p.m. Wednesday at Pfannebecker Funeral Home in Denison.

Christine M. Levin
LAKE VIEW, Iowa - Christine M. Levin, 104, of Lake View died Monday at Willlow Dale Care Center in Battle Creek, Iowa.
Private family services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Christensen-Ciha Funeral Home in Ida Grove, Iowa. Burial will be in Odebolt City Cemetery at Odebolt, Iowa. Visitation will be after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Rosella Kramer
GEORGE, Iowa - Rosella Mae Kramer, 85, of George died Sunday, June 28, 1998, at Sibley Nursing and Rehabiliation Center in Sibley, Iowa.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Ebenezer Presbyterian Church in George, with the Rev. Thomas Hobson officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 to 9 p.m. today, with the family present 7 to 8:30 p.m., at the church. Roste Funeral Home of Rock Rapids, Iowa, is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Kramer was born May 3, 1913, near George, the daughter of Reiner and Gertie (Meester) Harms. She lived on a farm near George, until moving with her family to a farm near Sibley. She attended country school near Sibley. The family then returned to George.
She married George Kramer on Nov. 7, 1933, in George. The couple farmed near George until 1936, when they moved to a farm near Adrian, Minn. In 1945, they moved back to George.
She was a homemaker and did house cleaning and ironing in the George community. She was employed with the Good Samaritan Center until the 1980s.
Mr. Kramer died in 1982. Mrs. Kramer entered the Sibley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in May 1988.
She was a member of Ebenezer Presbyterian Church and the Presbyterian Women's Group.
Survivors include three sons, Jim of George, Theodore and his wife, Janice, of Storm Lake, Iowa, and Jeffrey and his wife Joyce of George; four daughters, Patricia and her husband, Jim Keizer, of Doon, Iowa, Samantha and her husband, Hank Niemyer, of Cherokee, Iowa, Judith Smith of Winnesboro, S.C., and Bonnie and her husband, Lynel Vallier, of Boulder, Colo.; 20 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a brother, Herman Harms of George; and a sister, Marie Kramer of George.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Willard Harms.

Gerrit E. Slothouber
SIOUX CENTER, Iowa - Gerrit E. Slothouber, 85, of Sioux Center died Monday at Sioux Center Commuity Hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Central Reformed Church in Sioux Center. Burial will be in Sheridan Township Cemetery, Boyden, Iowa. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, with the family present 7 to 8 p.m., at Memorial Funeral Home in Sioux Center.

Everald H. Paskert
REMSEN, Iowa - Everald Henry Paskert, 85, of Remsen died Monday, June 29, 1998, at Orange City Hospital and Clinic in Orange City, Iowa, following a brief illness.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Remsen, with the Rev. Thomas J. Hart and the Rev. Timothy Johnson, assisted by Deacon Allan, officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Wednesday, with a parish rosary at 3 p.m., a vigil prayer service at 7:30 p.m. and a Knights of Columbus rosary at 8 p.m., all at Fisch Funeral Home in Remsen.
Mr. Paskert was born Dec. 15, 1912, in rural Remsen, the son of Anton and Anna (Neisius) Paskert. He was raised and educated in the Remsen area, graduating from St. Mary's High School in 1930. He then attended the National Business Training School in Sioux City, graduating with a degree in accounting.
He farmed near Remsen.
He married Lucille Gibbons on May 22, 1945, in Akron, Iowa. The couple retired and moved into Remsen in 1979.
He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus.
Survivors include his wife; two sons and their wives, Ronald and Judy of Urbandale, Iowa, and Tony and Tammy of Remsen; a daughter and her husband, Pat and Gary Lewis of Sioux City; and six grandchildren, Luke, Becky, Katie, Kelsey and Coleton Paskert and Ann Hughes.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Michael Hughes; and a sister, Vera Abraham.

Marlin Johnson
Marlin Johnson, 45, of Doon, Iowa, died Monday; Roste Funeral Home of Rock Rapids, Iowa.

Leonard O. Lonseth
Leonard O. Lonseth, 96, of Sioux City died Tuesday, June 23, 1998, at a Sioux City nursing home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel, with the Rev. Alex T. Washington officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Lonseth was born March 12, 1902, in Sioux City, the son of Engle and Clara (Lund) Lonseth.
He married Hazel Young in 1922, in Sioux City. She died April 3, 1994. He was employed as a freight clerk with Milwaukee Railroad for over 50 years.
He was a member of the Moose Lodge and the Eagles Club.
Survivors include his son, Robert of Sylvania, Ohio; a daughter and her husband, Delores and William Pike of Lake Placid, Fla.; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Ray and Terry Svendsen, Chris Steenken and John Spurlock.

Milton Olson Sr.
Milton H. Olson Sr., 72, of Sioux City died Sunday at his residence following a lenghty illness.
Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. There will be no visitation.

Ruperto Medina
Ruperto Medina, 77, of Sioux City died Sunday at the Casa de Paz following a lengthy illness.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Boniface Catholic Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m. today and Tuesday, with the family present 6 to 9 p.m. today and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and a scriptural wake service at 7 p.m. Tuesday, all at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.

Dennis E. Cronin
Dennis E. Cronin, 70, of Sioux City died Sunday, June 28, 1998, at his residence following a brief illness.
Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Boniface Catholic Church, with the Rev. Randy Guerdet, associate pastor of Cathedral of the Epiphany, officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today, with a Scripture service at 7 p.m., at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.
Mr. Cronin was born Aug. 22, 1927, in Sibley, Iowa, the son of Maurice and Rose (Nichols) Cronin. He was raised in Sibley and graduated from Creighton University. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
He married Patricia J. England on Dec. 31, 1952, in Sibley. The couple moved to Sioux City in 1953. He was employed in the insurance industry with Woolridge Insurance and then with Blue Cross/Blue Shield for 25 years. They owned and operated Northside Upholstery from 1986 to 1996.
He was a member of Cathedral of the Epiphany.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter and her husband, Kathy and Rick LaFleur of Jefferson, S.D.; four sons, Dr. Dennis "Mick" and his wife Diane of Greensboro, N.C., Dr. Terrance of Kernersville, N.C., Steven and his wife Toni of South Sioux City and Timothy and his wife Cammie of Yankton, S.D.; 12 grandchildren; and his mother-in-law, Ruth England of Sioux City.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Siouxland.

Perry L. Meyer
BANCROFT, Neb. - Perry L. Meyer, 65, of Bancroft died Saturday, June 27, 1998, at the Methodist Hospital in Omaha, Neb.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Bancroft, with the Rev. Gerald Raggow officiating. Burial will be in Bancroft Cemetery. Visitation will be 3 to 8 p.m. today at the Munderloh Funeral Home in Bancroft.
Mr. Meyer was born Sept. 3, 1932, in Pender, Neb., the son of William and Evelyn (Bucklin) Meyer. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He married Judy Dye on June 9, 1962. He was employed at the Citizens Bank in Bancroft, with his father, becoming president in 1965. He also took care of the Bancroft City Cemetery.
He was a member of Nebraska Bankers Association, the National Cattleman's Association and the National Rifle Association. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his wife; five daughters, Laurie and her husband Delmer Soll, Renee and her husband Michael Sjuts and Karin and her husband Brad Vogt, all of Bancroft, Julie and her husband Deon Dragoo and Jennifer, all of Linclon, Neb.; and nine grandchildren, Andrew, Zachary, Jacob and Clint Soll, Katie and Allie Vogt, Alexander and Nicholas Sjuts and Dylan Dragoo.

Earl Habben
GEORGE, Iowa - Earl Habben, 76, of George died Saturday at the George Good Samaritan Center.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Lyon County First Presbyterian Church in rural George. Burial will be in Evergreen Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be 1 to 9 p.m. today, with the family present at 7 p.m., at the Bolin Funeral Home in George.

Evelyn Taylor
SUTHERLAND, Iowa - Evelyn Taylor, 80, of Sutherland died Saturday at a Sioux City hospital.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Bethel Lutheran Church in Sutherland. Burial will be at a later date in Cedar Township Cemetery near Larrabee, Iowa. There will be no visitation. Gaudian-Eldridge Funeral Home of Paullina, Iowa, is in charge of the arrangements.
