She loved the outdoors, hiking, camping, going out and just sitting in the woods, enjoying God's beauty. She loved thunderstorms, watching the lightening and the sunsets. Nikki loved driving her Grandpa Huddleston's 4 by 4 Toyota pick-up, and drove it long before she had her driver's license, with Grandpa at her side. She also loved to drive his 4-wheeler. Nikki went to her Grandma's two or three nights a week, late at night, when she got home from work or was coming home from a friends, and would say, 'Grandma, you got any of your chicken noodle soup'? Nikki had many, many friends that loved her. Sam Bolen was one of her close friends. All you had to do was meet Nikki and you loved her. She had the most beautiful blue eyes and a beautiful, infectious smile. She had a kind heart and was always eager to help everyone. At 15, Nikki chose to get her GED through LCSC and graduated from there at 16. She went to work at the Weippe Library soon after graduating. She was the Children's Librarian and loved her job and loved spending time every week with the little kindergarten and first graders when she went to read to them. Nikki's plans for the future were trips to various places with her family and friend Sam.
