OGDEN – Funeral services for Ruth E. Beard, 75, of Ogden will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Freese Funeral Home, 302 E. Grand Ave., St. Joseph. The Rev. Guy Keysear will officiate. Burial will be in the GAR Cemetery, Homer.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Eastern Star services at 8 p.m. by Hope Chapter 104.
Mrs. Beard died at 10 a.m. Sunday (Jan. 24, 1999) at home.
Steven Bertine
BOULDER, Colo. – Steven Lee Bertine, 52, of Boulder, formerly of Champaign, died Jan. 15, 1999, from injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident in Boulder.

CHAMPAIGN – Funeral services for Kenneth E. Brandon, 80, of 1113 W. Washington St., C, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Hope Mausoleum Chapel, 601 E. Pennsylvania Ave., C. The Rev. Dale Scott will officiate.
Entombment will be in Mount Hope Mausoleum.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Mausoleum Chapel. Owens Funeral Home, Champaign, is handling arrangements.
Mr. Brandon died at 2:10 a.m. Monday (Jan. 25, 1999) at Provena Covenant Medical Center, Urbana.

CHAMPAIGN – Mildred Brown, 94, of ManorCare Health Services, Urbana, formerly of Champaign, died at 7:40 p.m. Monday (Jan. 25, 1999) at the nursing home.

DANVILLE – Frank E. Burroughs, 61, of Danville died at 9:10 p.m. Saturday (Jan. 23, 1999) at Provena Covenant Medical Center, Urbana.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 3940 N. Vermilion St., Danville. The Rev. Delmar Krueger will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, Danville.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home with Masonic rites at 5:15 p.m. by Anchor Masonic Lodge.
