Albert James
WESTVILLE – Albert Ronald James, 66, of Westville died at 5:20 p.m. Tuesday (Jan. 26, 1999) at the Danville Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Lakeside-Urbas Funeral Home, 135 N. West St., Westville. The Rev. Dean Huguet will officiate. Burial will be in the Georgetown Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Joseph Malone
DANVILLE – Joseph L. Malone, 74, of Champaign, formerly of Danville, died at 12:20 p.m. Tuesday (Jan. 26, 1999) at the Danville Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

Harold Osborn
DANVILLE – Harold T. "Ozzie" Osborn, 86, of Danville died at 5:55 a.m. Wednesday (Jan. 27, 1999) at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center, Logan Campus, Danville.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Pape Memorial Home and Cremation Gardens, 10 E. Williams St., Danville.
Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the building fund of the Danville United Church of Christ.
Gilbert Raasch
CHAMPAIGN – Gilbert O. Raasch, 95, of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, died Jan. 20, 1999, at Calgary.
Information on funeral arrangements was unavailable.
He was hired by the Illinois State Geological Survey in 1946 to re-establish the education program, especially the public field trip program, that had been suspended during World War II. In his six years with the survey, he conducted nearly 50 public field trips. He also assembled a significant portion of the survey's Cambrian-Devonian fossil collection.
He moved to Calgary in 1953 to work as a paleontologist in petroleum exploration for several oil companies. In 1967, he founded Raasch and Associates, a private paleontological consulting firm, which he operated until he was in his 80s.
A symposium, "Gilbert O. Raasch, A Man for All Systems," was held in his honor at the 1997 Geological Society of America North Central meeting in Madison, Wis.

DANVILLE – Funeral services for Darold Dean Sager Sr., 64, of Danville will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Pape Memorial Home and Cremation Gardens, 10 E. Williams St., Danville. The Rev. Jerry Cummins will officiate.
Burial will be in the Danville National Cemetery.
Visitation will from 9:30 to 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mr. Sager died at 11:25 a.m. Friday (Jan. 22, 1999) at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center, Logan Campus, Danville.
