URBANA – Alma O. Demlow, 89, of 1706 Amber Lane, U, died at 9:20 p.m. Saturday (April 10, 1999) at Provena Covenant Medical Center, Urbana.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Morgan Memorial Home, 1304 Regency Drive West, Savoy. The Rev. Glen H. Trost will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Champaign.
Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Patricia Haislip
HOOPESTON – Patricia Marie Haislip, 35, of Vincennes, Ind., formerly of Hoopeston, died at 7:30 a.m. Sunday (April 11, 1999) at her home.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Floral Hill Cemetery, Hoopeston.
There will be no visitation. Brown-Alkire Funeral Home, 309 E. Washington St., Hoopeston, is in charge of arrangements.
Helen Hale
TILTON – Helen L. Hale, 94, of Tilton died at 6:30 p.m. Saturday (April 10, 1999) at Vermilion Manor Nursing Home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Barrick & Son Funeral Home, 440 N. Walnut St., Danville, with the Rev. Herbert D. Smith officiating. Burial will be at Spring Hill Cemetery, Danville.
Visitation will be for an hour before services Tuesday at the funeral home.

ARTHUR – Edna G. Helmuth, 77, of Arthur died at 2:30 a.m. Sunday (April 11, 1999) at Provena Covenant Medical Center, Urbana.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Omer A. Miller home, 222 E. County Road 200N, rural Arthur. Bishop Omer A. Miller will officiate. Burial will be at Miller Cemetery in rural Arthur.
Visitation will be any time before the funeral at the Miller home. Edwards Funeral Home, 221 E. Main St., Arcola, is in charge of arrangements.
Glenn Hiser
OGDEN – Glenn M. Hiser, 91, of Ogden died at 8:05 a.m. Sunday (April 11, 1999) at home.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Freese Funeral Home, 302 E. Grand Ave., St. Joseph. The Rev. Kathy Krstolovich and the Rev. Guy Keysear will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Olive Cemetery, Mayview.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

MAHOMET – Elden R. Hitchens, 83, of Mahomet died at 7:45 p.m Sunday (April 11, 1999) at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

St. JOSEPH – Marian L. Knott, 74, of St. Joseph, formerly of Olive Branch, died at 11:11 p.m. Sunday (April 11, 1999) at the Champaign County Nursing Home, Urbana.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Freese Funeral Home, 302 E. Grand Ave., St. Joseph, with the Rev. Ken Fetters and the Rev. Verley Akers officiating. Burial will be in Patterson Cemetery, St. Joseph.
Visitation will be from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Sidney McGill Jr.
CHAMPAIGN – Funeral services for Sidney A. McGill Jr., 64, of Houston, formerly of Champaign, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Twin City Memorial Chapel, 1203 N. Market St., C. Elder Donnie Frith will officiate.
Burial will be in the Danville National Cemetery.
Visitation will be for one hour before the services Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mr. McGill died Wednesday (April 7, 1999) at the Houston Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

SAVOY – George W. Moorhous III, 41, of Savoy died at 8:30 p.m. Saturday (April 10, 1999) at home.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Savoy United Methodist Church, 401 Graham Drive, Savoy. The Rev. Jim McClearey will officiate. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Carmel Cemetery, Carmel, Ind.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Morgan Memorial Home, 1304 Regency Drive West, Savoy.
