CLINTON – Funeral services for Martha L. Tolby, 74, of Clinton will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Calvert Funeral Home, 201 S. Center St., Clinton. J. Kent Hickerson will officiate.
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Clinton.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Tolby died at 4:27 a.m. Tuesday (Jan. 19, 1999) at Dr. John Warner Hospital, Clinton.

CHAMPAIGN – Funeral services for Charles Johann Bareis II, 69, of Champaign will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Morgan Memorial, 1304 Regency Drive West, Savoy. The Rev. Edward Schneider will officiate.
Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery, Champaign.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Bareis died at 4 a.m. Wednesday (Jan. 20, 1999) at home.

RANTOUL – Merdine May Bower, 86, of Rantoul died at 9 a.m. Wednesday (Jan. 20, 1999) at home.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Trexler Cemetery, Newton. The Rev. Mike Mack will officiate.
There will be no visitation. Lux Memorial Chapel, Rantoul, is handling arrangements.

SIDELL – Violette Gertrude Brown, 84, of Raleigh, N.C., formerly of Sidell, died at 8:40 a.m. Tuesday (Jan. 19, 1999) at Raleigh Community Hospital, Raleigh, N.C.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Newman.
Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Joines Funeral Home, 108 N. Gray, Sidell.
