CLINTON – Carl Laws, 85, of Clinton died at 6:10 p.m. Thursday (April 15, 1999) at BroMenn Regional Medical Center, Normal.
Arrangements were incomplete at Calvert Funeral Home, 201 S. Center St., Clinton.

ROBERTS – Arnold J. Linn, 97, of Mequon, Wis., formerly of Wilmette and Roberts, died at 4:20 a.m. Thursday (April 15, 1999) at St. Mary's Hospital, Mequon, Wis.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Lamb-Young Funeral Home, 108 N. Walnut St., Roberts. The Rev. Joel Catlin will officiate. Burial will be in Lyman Township Cemetery, Roberts.
Visitation will be from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

FARMER CITY – Edna Faye McKinley, 96, of Fullerton, Calif., formerly of Farmer City, died at 5:15 p.m. Wednesday (April 14, 1999) at Park Vista Nursing Home, Fullerton, Calif.
Arrangements were incomplete at Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, 106 N. Main St., Farmer City.
Eloise McKinley
FARMER CITY – Funeral services for Eloise M. McKinley, 83, of Sun City, Ariz., formerly of Bloomington and Farmer City, will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, 106 N. Main St., Farmer City. The Rev. N. Nadine Preston will officiate. Burial will be at McCord Cemetery, Farmer City.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. McKinley died at 3:20 p.m. Tuesday (April 13, 1999) at Sun Health Hospice, Sun City.
Linda Morris
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Linda Louise Stoner Morris, 52, of Virginia Beach died April 6, 1999, in an automobile accident at Greensboro, N.C.
Funeral services were Monday at Baylake United Methodist Church, Virginia Beach. Burial was in Rosewood Memorial Park, Virginia Beach. Holomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, Virginia Beach, handled arrangements.

NEWTON – John Schuch Jr., 76, of Newton died at 8:45 p.m. Wednesday (April 14, 1999) at St. Anthony Memorial Hospital, Effingham.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Newton. The Rev. Joe Molloy will officiate. Burial will be at Old St. Peter Cemetery, Newton, with military rites by Jasper County American Legion Post 20.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Buchanan Funeral Home, Newton, with a wake service at 7:45 p.m.

FARMER CITY – Clarence Eugene Simpson, 72, of Farmer City died at 11:15 p.m. Wednesday (April 14, 1999) at Manor Care Health Services, Urbana.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, 106 N. Main St., Farmer City. The Rev. N. Nadine Preston will officiate. Burial will be at a later date in Maple Grove Cemetery, Farmer City.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Opal Spurgeon
CHAMPAIGN – Funeral services for Opal B. Spurgeon, 94, of the Champaign County Nursing Home, Urbana, formerly of 1515 1/2 N. Market St., C, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Morgan Memorial Home, 1304 Regency Drive West, Savoy. The Rev. Dorothy Nickell will officiate.
Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Urbana.
Visitation will be for one hour before the services Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Spurgeon died at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday (April 14, 1999) at Provena Covenant Medical Center, Urbana.
Beulah Stultz
CHRISMAN – Beulah K. Stultz, 88, of Chrisman died at 12:15 p.m. Thursday (April 15, 1999) at home.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Scott-Bolen Funeral Home, 602 E. Madison Ave., Chrisman. The Rev. Larry Beebe will officiate with the Rev. Steve Williams assisting. Burial will be in the Hoult Cemetery, south of Chrisman.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
