HUTSONVILLE – Cecil LaVaughn Kendall, 66, of rural Hutsonville died at 8:45 a.m. Thursday (Oct. 7, 1999) at his home.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Goodwine Funeral Home, 303 E. Main, Robinson. Burial will be in Robinson New Cemetery, Robinson.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday.

URBANA – Gertrude Morgan, 96, of Urbana died at 4:45 p.m. Thursday (Oct. 7, 1999) at the Champaign County Nursing Home, Urbana.
Funeral arrangements were pending at Heath & Vaughn Funeral Home, 201 N. Elm St., C.

CHAMPAIGN – Funeral services for Jesse William Perkins, 77, formerly of 1120 W. Park St., C, will be at noon Saturday at Mount Olive Baptist Church, 808 E. Bradley Ave., C. The Rev. Lundy Savage will officiate.
Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Urbana.
Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to noon Saturday at the church. Twin City Memorial Chapel, Champaign, is handling arrangements.
Mr. Perkins died at 6:45 a.m. Tuesday (Oct. 5, 1999) at the Danville Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

BROCTON – Lela L. Powers, 94, of Brocton died at 10 a.m. Thursday (Oct. 7, 1999) at the Paris Health Care Center, Paris, Ill.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Joines Funeral Home, 401 W. Gillogly St., Newman. The Rev. Duane Oakley will officiate. Burial will be in Payne Cemetery, near Brocton.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

SIDNEY – Bert J. Ward, 80, of Sidney died at 6:15 p.m. Thursday (Oct. 7, 1999) at home.

DANVILLE – June M. Wonderlin, 90, of Danville died at 2 p.m. Thursday (Oct. 7, 1999) at Colonial Manor, Danville.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Lakeside Funeral Chapel, 3550 N. Vermilion St., Danville. The Rev. Kevin Nourie will officiate. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery, Danville.

STEPHEN CITY, Va. – Lucille E. Beales, 83, of Stephen City, formerly of Urbana, died at 1:15 a.m. Monday (Oct. 4, 1999) at the Winchester Hospital, Winchester, Va.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. EST Wednesday at the chapel in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Va. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery.

PARRISH, Fla. – Delmar C. Custer, 73, of Parrish, Fla., formerly of Paxton and Rankin died at 6:12 p.m. Friday (Oct. 8, 1999) at the Manatee Memorial Hospital, Bradenton, Fla.
