FARMER CITY – Evelyn M. Plotner, 84, of Farmer City died at 7:43 a.m. Saturday (Oct. 9, 1999) at The Carle Arbours, Savoy.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, 106 N. Main St., Farmer City. The Rev. Nadine Preston will officiate. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery, Mansfield.
Visitation will be one hour before the service Wednesday at the funeral home.

TILTON – Wayne H. Powers, 72, of Tilton died at 7:13 p.m. at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center, Logan campus, Danville.
Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in Songer Cemetery, Tilton. Sandy Coleclasure and Gina Dixon will officiate.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Pape Memorial Home & Cremation Gardens, 10 E. Williams St., Danville.

PAXTON – Grayce Darling Wells, 96, of Paxton, formerly of Mulberry Grove, died Thursday (Oct. 7, 1999) at the Illinois Knights Templar Nursing Home, Paxton.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church, Mulberry Grove. The Rev. Garry Loeffler will officiate. Burial will be in McInturff Cemetery, Vandalia.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Ripperdan-Schildknecht Funeral Home, Mulberry Grove.

MATTOON – Emma W. Alwardt, 81, of Mattoon, formerly of Stewardson, died at 9:45 a.m. Sunday (Oct. 10, 1999) at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center, Coles County.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Grace Lutheran Church, Strasburg. The Rev. Michael Mohr will officiate. Burial will be in Stewardson Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the church and one hour before the service Tuesday. Howe & Yockey Funeral Home, Strasburg, is handling arrangements.

MIDDLETOWN – Bradley Scott Apke, 33, of Middletown died at 10:18 a.m. Saturday (Oct. 9, 1999) at home.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Family Catholic Church in Lincoln. The Rev. Thomas Taylor will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Lincoln.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Holland & Barry Funeral Home, Lincoln. A rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

URBANA – Isabelle Boewe, 97, of 101 W. Windsor Road, U, died at 1:20 p.m. Sunday (Oct. 10, 1999) at Meadowbrook Health Center, Urbana.
Funeral arrangements were incomplete at Morgan Memorial Home, 1304 Regency Drive West, Savoy.

DANVILLE – Funeral services for Helen Marie Brady, 92, of Danville will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Family Church, 502 E. Main St., Danville. The Rev. Ted Pracz will officiate.
Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Danville.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Pape Memorial Home and Cremation Gardens, 10 E. Williams St., Danville. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Brady died at 12:20 p.m. Saturday (Oct. 9, 1999) at the Danville Care Center.

Mr. Comer died at 10:36 a.m. Saturday (Oct. 9, 1999) at St. Mary's Hospital, Decatur.
