DANVILLE – Frederick Charles VanHorne, 75, of Danville died Monday morning (Nov. 8, 1999) at the Danville Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Spring Hill Mausoleum, Danville. Chaplain Garth Lehman will officiate. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at the mausoleum. Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 3940 N. Vermilion St., Danville, is handling arrangements.
Virgil Ester
LeROY – Virgil Eugene Ester, 61, of LeRoy, formerly of Farmer City, died at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday (Nov. 10, 1999) at his home.
Graveside memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at McCord Cemetery, rural Farmer City. The Rev. Dale L. Cox will officiate.
There will be no visitation. Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, 106 N. Main St., Farmer City, is in charge of arrangements.

SAVOY – Private family graveside services for Marilyn Slagle Lyons, 65, of Savoy, formerly of Bement, Sullivan and Monticello, will be Thursday at Bement Township Cemetery, Bement. The Rev. Steve Ingram will officiate.
Roux-Wright Funeral Home, 348 N. Piatt St., Bement, is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Lyons died at 4:15 p.m. Tuesday (Nov. 9, 1999) at the Carle Arbours, Savoy.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Lamb Funeral Home, 303 N. Church St., Gibson City, and from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday at the church.
