CHRISMAN – Stella E. Kirkley, 90, of Chrisman died at 6:30 a.m. Wednesday (Feb. 23, 2000) at the Pleasant Meadows Christian Village Nursing Center, Chrisman.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Scott-Bolen Funeral Home, 602 E. Madison Ave., Chrisman. The Rev. Richard Mick will officiate. Burial will be in Friends Chapel Cemetery, northeast of Scottland.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Ernest Kump
ZURICH, Switzerland – Ernest Joseph Kump, 87, the architect for Parkland College, died Nov. 4, 1999, in Zurich, Switzerland.
He spent his final years in London; at his castle, Schloss Matzen in Tyrol, Austria; and in Zurich, Switzerland.
Willi Luy
DECATUR – Willi Luy, 62, of Neuberg, Germany, died at 10:15 a.m. Monday (Feb. 21, 2000) at Neuberg, Germany.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 352 W. Wood St., Decatur. The Rev. Ronald Pennekamp will officiate.
The family will receive friends for one half hour before the services Sunday at the church.
Wilbur Moody
GEORGETOWN – Wilbur L. Moody, 64, of Georgetown died at 11:11 a.m. Tuesday (Feb. 22, 2000).
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Woodlawn Cemetery, Indianola. Justin Weber will officiate.
Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, 200 E. West St., Georgetown, is handling arrangements.
Robert Moore
GROVE CITY, Pa. – Robert Harry Moore, 81, of Mercer, Pa., formerly of Champaign, died Feb. 10, 2000, at Sharon Regional Hospital, Sharon, Pa.
Services were held Feb. 14 at the Church of the Epiphany Episcopal, Grove City. Burial was in Woodland Cemetery, Grove City.
Arrangements were handled by Cunningham Funeral Homes, Grove City.
Patricia Phillips
CHAMPAIGN – Memorial services for Patricia Phillips, 49, of 1018 W. William St., C, will be at a later date.
Renner-Wikoff Chapel, Urbana, is handling arrangements.
Miss Phillips died at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday (Feb. 22, 2000) at the Champaign County Nursing Home, Urbana.
Alma Reilly
CHAMPAIGN – Funeral services for Alma Mae Reilly, 87, of Champaign and Port St. Lucie, Fla., will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Elizabeth's Church, Thomasboro. The Rev. William Keebler will officiate.
Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Urbana.
Visitation will be from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Owens Funeral Home, 101 N. Elm St., C, with a parish wake service at 7 p.m.
Mrs. Reilly died at 8:15 a.m. Saturday (Feb. 19, 2000) at the National Health Community, Stuart, Fla.
Donald Schaffer Sr.
CHAMPAIGN – Funeral services for Donald D. Schaffer Sr., 71, of Champaign will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Road, U. The Rev. Morris Christman will officiate.
Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Urbana, with military rites by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5520 of Champaign.
Visitation will be from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with an honor guard by American Legion Post 24 of Champaign.
Mr. Schaffer died at 5:30 a.m. Wednesday (Feb. 23, 2000) at the Care Centre of Champaign.
William Shaw
GLENDALE, Ariz. – William Clyde Shaw, 85, of Glendale, Ariz., formerly of Smithfield, died Jan. 11, 2000 at St. Luke's Hospice, Phoenix.
No services were held. Arizona Aftercare, 4460 E. Thomas Road, Phoenix, was in charge of arrangements.
Carroll Snyder
DANVILLE – Carroll "Spud" Snyder, 84, of Danville died at 8:05 a.m. Wednesday (Feb. 23, 2000) at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Danville.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the First Presbyterian Church, 100 Franklin St., Danville.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the church.
