Wanda Roy

SADORUS – Funeral services for Wanda J. Roy, 67, of Sadorus will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Freese Funeral Home, 407 N. Bourne St., Tolono. The Rev. Ken Young will officiate.

Burial will be in Craw Cemetery, Sadorus.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Roy died at 1:45 a.m. Thursday (March 2, 2000) at home.

Harold Sapp

ARTHUR – Funeral services for Harold J. Sap, 65, of Arthur will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Shrader Funeral Home, 431 S. Vine St., Arthur. The Rev. Mitch L. Flesch will officiate.

Burial with military rites by the Arthur American Legion and the Arthur-Lovington VFW will be in Arthur Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday with Masonic rites at 8 p.m., at the funeral home.

Mr. Sapp died at 10:32 p.m. Wednesday (March 1, 2000) at the Provena Covenant Medical Center, Urbana.

Richard Brown

RANTOUL – Funeral services for Richard Allan Brown, 63, of Rantoul will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Greater New Light Baptist Church, Rantoul. The Rev. Matthew Scott will officiate.

Burial will be in the Danville National Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Lux Memorial Chapel, 1551 E. Grove Ave., Rantoul.

Mr. Brown died Saturday (Sept. 23, 2000) at Provena Covenant Medical Center, Urbana.

Melvin Cook

CHAMPAIGN – Melvin H. Cook, 71, of Champaign died at 11:15 p.m. Tuesday (Sept. 26, 2000) at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Danville.

Funeral arrangements were incomplete at Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Road, U.

Arthur Deval

SAVOY – Funeral services for Arthur F. Deval, 68, of Savoy will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church of Champaign at Savoy, 1602 N. Prospect Ave., Savoy. The Rev. Randy J. Gauger will officiate.

Burial will be in Prairieview Cemetery, Savoy.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Morgan Memorial Home, 1304 Regency Drive West, Savoy.

Mr. Deval died at 8:45 p.m. Monday (Sept. 25, 2000) at home.

George Dietkus

GEORGETOWN – George Dietkus, 82, of Georgetown died at 6:40 a.m. Monday (Sept. 25, 2000) at Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Danville.

Memorial services will be at a later date at Georgetown Church of the Nazarene.

Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, Georgetown, is in charge of arrangements.

Kathryn Franzen

CHAMPAIGN – Kathryn Marie Franzen, infant daughter of Brad Franzen and Stacey Lynn Crump of Champaign, died Saturday (Sept. 23, 2000) at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

Private graveside services were set for Wednesday. Lux Memorial Chapel, Rantoul, handled arrangements.

Earl Gordon

RICHMOND, Texas – Earl Dean Gordon, 67, of Richmond died Sept. 6, 2000, at Polly Ryan Hospital, Rosenberg, Texas.

Funeral services were held Sept. 8 at Garmany and Carden Funeral Home, Rosenberg. Burial was in Houston Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Houston.

Deborah Jasso

ARCOLA – Deborah M. Jasso, 46, of Arcola died at 1:25 p.m. Tuesday (Sept. 26, 2000) at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center, Coles County.

Funeral arrangements were incomplete at Shrader Funeral Home, Arcola.

George Jimson Sr.

DANVILLE – Funeral services for George B. Jimson Sr., 89, of Danville will be at noon Friday at Union Missionary Baptist Church, 614 W. Williams St., Danville. The Rev. Ken McCray will officiate.

Burial will be in Sanhill Cemetery, Danville.

Visitation will be from 1 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Leek & Sons Funeral Home, 304 E. Williams St., Danville. The family will be present from 5 to 7 p.m.

Mr. Jimson died at 9:34 p.m. Sunday (Sept. 24, 2000) at the Danville Nursing and Rehabilitation Residence.
